It's finally coming!!!! YAYAYAAYAYAYAYYAAY LESS THAN 5 DAYSSSSS, WORLDS HERE I COMEEE, HOPE UR AS PUMPED UP AS  I AM

Anyways....

Preview: Mens...(feel free to disagree)

Yuzuru Hanyu is definitely the front runner and favourite to snatch the title right out of his friend and training mate's hands. He's got the Quads, the Base Value advantage, the experience, the programs, the jump layout. But the consistency? We shall see. I mean, back to back world record breaking clean performances at NHK trophy and GPF is pretty sick (in a good way). If he can do all he is capable of, which is a lot, then the title is his no question. If he falters a little, I'm hoping not, Javier might win this, but then again, Javier isn't known for consistency either. He usually falters slightly in his programs not that I'm hoping he would. Let's see, what about Patrick? He has a less difficult layout for his program but if he nails it, he could potentially win. Now, that pesky short program though....I'll be shock if he skates clean in the short.

Other spoilers, Denis Ten, I really like him but he's injuries are another level from other. Why Denis, Why? People say he usually does well when it counts, but frankly, I don't think he can do it in this competition. I'll be glad to be slapped by him and be proven wrong though.

Shoma Uno, bronze medalist in the GPF, of course he can do it. But the Quadss, where have the gone after the GPF? They seem to have taken a trip to Mars. Hopefully they'll be back by worlds though.

Boyang Jin. Now here is someone who has the Quads. But needs the PCS. Though he is certainly improving as seen in 4CC. Not consistent as well, but then again, who is?

Out of topic but Shoma and Boyang are so cute just wanted to say that....They also remind me of the Sota and Nathan rivalry. But honestly, the Hanyu-Chan rivalry is just like the Yamamoto-Chen rivalry. Except now it's chEn with an E instead of chAn with an A ahhahahahahahaahhah....okay that's just me being lame but anyways...

Could the american men potentially get into the top 5 with such a deep field? I personally don't think so. What about Nam? I really like Nam, but his season has been so rough, probably won't do well in worlds (But I dare you to prove me wrong, Nam)

Ladies....

Clearly, Evgenia Medvedeva is the front runner here. New young Russian hot shot and she's really really great too. Can't say I like her too much but she's likely to win this.

Elena Radionova, I luv her...She's amazing and I know this is not a nice thing to say but, I really wish she beats Medvedeva in worlds. Puberty....If only it would disappear.

Satoko Miyahara...here is someone who is super duper consistent. And in the world of figure skating, consistency can get you places, for example, the top of the podium? Not the best jumps but really nice flow in her skating.

Mao Asada, hope she can get back in top form by worlds. She's so elegant and smooth on the ice. Though I have to say I favoured Yuna Kim over her back in the days, but now I really want her to win this. But she'll have to not pop the lutz in the short and land those awesome Triple Axels which she is capable of. But again, consistency level? I would have loved to see her and Elizaveta Tuktameshyva have a triple axel battle but sadly Tukt didn't make the worlds team.

Anna Pogorilaya, amazing skater, amazing speed, amazing power, horrible falls. Hope she can skate well like in russian Nats then she could be a surprise medalist.

Gracie Gold...please just pull it all together!! Consistency is never there when you need it. If she does pull it together enough to not have a melt down, could potentially medal.

Ashley Wagner, love both her programs this year and really like her sass and americaness ;) If she skates clean like in Skate Canada, she should medal. But underrotations are a big problem for her.

Others...

Rika Hongo, love her river dance and she fire. Kinda hope for a top 5 finish for her but kinda unlikely looking at the deep field. Mirai Nagasu, like Ashley, she's got underrotation problems as well. But I like her Great Gatsby free skate. Canadian ladies...No 3A Alaine Chartrand, heard me? Gabby, don't be head case....
