You were walking through Waterfall on your way to see your best friend Napstablook. You two were very similar. You both loved music, were very shy and emotional, and you both loved Mettaton. Napstablook and Frisk were really the only people you talked to. Seeing how you are not good at making friends.

As you approach Napstablook's house, you hear two voices. Both sounding familiar. One was Napstablook, the other you couldn't figure out. You knocked on the door quietly, but loud enough to where Napstablook could hear it. Right after the knock, Napstablook and the other person became quiet. Napstablook open the door.

"Hey (Y/N)." He said.

"Hi. Did I interrupt something? Because I heard you talking with someone. If I did, I'm sorry." You said.

"No, you didn't interrupt anything. I was just talking with my cousin that's all."

"Oh. Okay. May I... umm ... come in?"

"Sure."

Napstablook moved out of the way of the door so you could come in. You peeked around the corner to see Mettaton standing there. Your eyes grew as you walked into the room, not taking your eyes off Mettaton.

"Why, you must be Blooky's friend, (Y/N). Right?" Mettaton said.

You slowly put your head down. Letting your hair cover your eyes. But, you still didn't look away from Mettaton.

"I guess so." You say quietly and shyly.

You sideways shuffle over to Napstablook. Mettaton looks at you with confusion.

"I didn't know your cousin was Mettaton." You said quietly.

"I didn't tell you? Sorry." He said

You stared at the floor silently while Mettaton observed you for a few minutes in silence.

"Wow! I didn't think they were so similar to you Blooky!"

You look at Mettaton with confusion.

"I mean, you said they were shy, but I didn't think they would be adorable when they're being shy!"

You look at the floor again and begin to blush a light pink.

"You also never mentioned how beautiful they were either."

You begin to blush harder now. You can hear Mettaton walking up to you.

"How would you like to have a backstage pass to my next show?" He said.

You lifted your head with a shocked expression that quickly turned into a smile. You nodded your head.

"Okay then! Meet me in Dr. Alphys's lab Saturday at 6:00 p.m. Okay?"

You nodded.

Mettaton smiled and began to walk to the door.

"Goodbye darlings!" He said while walking out the door.

You turn around to look at Napstablook. He had a slight smile on his face. Your excitement for the event in two days began to overflow. A huge smile appeared on your face as you begin squealing and jumping up and down. You hear a soft chuckle from Napstablook.

*Time skip*

After hanging out with Napstablook for two hours, you decided to go home and go to sleep.

The excitement of hanging out with Mettaton backstage fills you with determination.
