Once, there were three royal hedgehog triplets named Sonic, Sonia and Manic. Sonic was the oldest in the family and the oldest brother out of himself and Manic. Manic was the youngest brother out of the two and the youngest in the family. Sonia was the only daughter in the family and the second-oldest. Their father was King Jules and their mother was Queen Aleena. They were also given special medallions that can turn into instruments for fighting enemies. Oh, and since they're royals, they do have royal duties to do. Sonia like doing them, but Sonic and Manic don't. Manic can get away with doing them sometimes, but still has to do them. Sonic, on the other hand, doesn't like them, but has to because since he's the oldest, he's gonna be the king once Jules gives up the throne. Sonia is gonna be queen once Aleena gives up the throne. Manic is happy for his siblings, and also kind of sad that they don't have time to play with him anymore, but he hopes to change that.

Manic was in his room playing his games when his sister came in his room. "Hey Sonia, sis" Manic said. "Hello Manic, mom and dad are out right now, so we have to do our royal duties" Sonia said. "Ugh, like what?" "Like help people with their problems, greet people properly. Y'know, the usual royal duties we have to do. So come on, Sonic's already started greeting the people" "Ok fine, but after, do you and Sonic want to play a game with me?" "Sure" Sonia walked out with me and we both met Sonic on his throne. "We're here Sonic" Sonia said. "Ok good, because I have to help Knuckles with the Master Emerald, I have to hang out with Tails. Y'know, my usual stuff" Sonic said. Manic asked, cutting Sonic off. "Manic, there's always a list when it comes to his friends and our people" Sonia said. Sonic handed Manic the list and Manic unscrolled it. "It's not so bad" He said. "Take one hand off the scroll" Sonic said. Manic did what he was told and the scroll unscrolled more until it reached the floor. "Whoa" Sonia said. "At this rate, we'll never play any games" Manic said. "Sorry Manic, but we have to do them" "Yea. I mean, I don't like doing them, but I have to" Sonic said. "That's because you're going to be king, bro. While I just will still be a prince" Manic said. "I'll be in my room" He walked to his room, leaving Sonic and Sonia in the throne room. "He's really upset. But there's nothing we can do" Sonia said. "Um.... maybe we can take a little break" Sonic suggested. "What about our royal duties?" "Maybe Shadow and Amy can take care of them" "It's worth a shot. Can you call them?" "Yea" Sonic went to call Shadow and Amy.
