Same.

There have been some good double champions, don't get me wrong.

People like Seth Rollins, Chris Jericho, Brock Lesnar, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Triple H, etc..

But the thing with them was it meant something, it felt special when they had more than one belt. It didnt feel like it was because they didnt care and they didnt make it seem like they were only double champions because they didnt have plans for anyone else.

They all meant something and they were all great double champions.

And it was never a constant thing either.

I mean you've had Becky, Sasha, Bayley and Keith all double champions.

Keith gave up one of his titles, which still pisses me off because it made the North American title seem insignificant. If you're going to have someone be a double champion, have them be a fucking double champion. I get the whole "other people deserve a chance" but there are other ways around that. Have an open challenge. It makes Keith seem like even more if a fighting champion and would have given other superstars a chance for that title. It would have been better than just giving it up as if it meant nothing???

Like I just really didnt like that decision.

And I'm not gonna talk about Sasha and Bayley again cause I have like 50082827372626 times and we already know that I hate it.

And with Becky, I have said it before and I'll say it again. There is NOTHING you can say that can justify Charlotte taking the title away from Asuka just for them to put it and the Raw Womens title on Becky. Becky being double champion legitimately did hurt the division imo. And I love Becky. I would die for Rebecca. But I'll be one of the first to admit that her being double champion did no good.

Being a double champion should be a special occasion and lately they haven't been. There should never be more than one at one time and having 4 of them in the timespan of a year or so also shouldn't happen.
