The next hard thing is COVER.

What is the importance of using decent book cover?

Source of attraction.

The first impression that will give to the readers when they lay their eyes on your book.

I will give EvilThotSlayer as an example! Before, her covers were just simple pictures that she put as the covers. but after she requested for book covers from me, she told me that she got more views than before.

See the difference there?

Your book cover will determine the reader's interest.

If your book cover is decent/interesting enough to pique the reader's curiosity, then that is a great job!

For instance, if your book's genre is romantic, make the cover has romantic vibe! If it is an angst/depression/dark theme, make the cover emit a very dark aura that will attract the readers to read your book!

But.

I know most of you have hard time making covers since;

1. You aren't that good at graphic design.

2. Have no specific apps to make covers

3. Have no time to make one.

4. Lazy (don't worry. I'm lazy sometimes too. That is why there are two of my covers that are made by my friends)

I'm not forcing you to make covers, but it is important for you to use one, because;

1. Some readers are sensitive to books that don't use proper covers.

2. A small group of readers that are very picky in reading fanfics may judge you as 'uncreative' and 'lazy' if they see your books without covers (speaking through experience. It HURT a lot, dang...)

If you guys don't know how to make good covers, you can just request to graphic shop on this wonderful app! There are many graphic shops that are willing to take your request!

Just make sure to follow their rules or they won't take your request.
