Usage of For and Since

A lot of use often interchangeably use for and since while depicting time. That's wrong. Both these have separate usage and today we are going to explore this.

1. For is used to depict a duration. E.g. I have been writing on YourQuotes for 1.5 months.

2. Since is used when talking about a particular point in time. E.g. I have been writing on YourQuotes since August, 2016.
