Upon waking up back at the inn, Yueting notices a large basket on the table filled with mangoes. Next to it is a note. As she stands up to read the note, Yueting is surprised to see the mangoes.

𝒟𝑒𝒶𝓇 𝒴𝓊𝑒𝓉𝒾𝓃𝑔, ♡(˃͈ દ ˂͈ ༶)

𝐼 𝒽𝑜𝓅𝑒 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓈𝓁𝑒𝓅𝓉 𝓌𝑒𝓁𝓁 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝓌𝑜𝓀𝑒 𝓊𝓅 𝒻𝑒𝑒𝓁𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒽𝑒𝒶𝓁𝓉𝒽𝓎. 𝐼'𝓋𝑒 𝓁𝑒𝒻𝓉 𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓈 𝒷𝒶𝓈𝓀𝑒𝓉 𝒶𝓈 𝒶 𝓅𝒶𝓇𝓉𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝑔𝒾𝒻𝓉. 𝐼𝓃𝓈𝒾𝒹𝑒 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒷𝒶𝓈𝓀𝑒𝓉 𝒾𝓈 𝒶 𝓈𝓂𝒶𝓁𝓁 𝒷𝒶𝑔. 𝐼𝓃 𝒸𝒶𝓈𝑒 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒹𝑜𝓃'𝓉 𝒶𝓁𝓇𝑒𝒶𝒹𝓎 𝒽𝒶𝓋𝑒 𝒶𝓃 '𝒾𝓃𝓋𝑒𝓃𝓉𝑜𝓇𝓎' 𝒷𝒶𝑔, 𝓅𝓁𝑒𝒶𝓈𝑒 𝒹𝑜 𝒶𝒸𝒸𝑒𝓅𝓉 𝓂𝓎 𝑔𝒾𝒻𝓉. ᡣ𐭩                                        ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡

The letter was adorned with a plethora of emojis, hearts, and other decorations. Yueting carefully fastened the beautifully purple and gold bag onto her belt and slipped the letter inside. While arranging the mangoes, a knock echoed on the door. "Yueting, are you awake?" Zhang Wei's voice came through the door as he knocked. "come in," Yueting welcomed, gesturing for Zhang Wei and Meiyang to come inside.

"What are these mangoes for?" Zhang Wei inquired, casting a glance between the mangoes and Yueting. "Just a gift from someone," Yueting responded. "Could it be a secret admirer?" Zhang Wei teased. "No," Yueting countered.

Somehow, Zhang Wei's words seemed to fluster Meiyang. Did she know about the other Meiyang's visit? Impossible.

"Anyway, good morning," Yueting remarked as she finished arranging the mangoes. At the bottom of the basket lay another note:

𝐵𝑒 𝒸𝒶𝓇𝑒𝒻𝓊𝓁, 𝒹𝒶𝓇𝓁𝒾𝓃𝑔, 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝓂𝒶𝓀𝑒 𝓈𝓊𝓇𝑒 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓈𝑒𝑒 𝒾𝓉 𝓉𝒽𝓇𝑜𝓊𝑔𝒽 𝓉𝑜 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝑒𝓃𝒹 𝒻𝑜𝓇 𝓂𝑒. (∩˃o˂∩)♡

 (。- .•) 𝐼 𝓁𝑜𝓋𝑒 𝓎𝑜𝓊𝓊𝓊𝓊𝓊 ‪‪               ❤︎‬

This time, Meiyang and Zhang Wei surely saw the note. "Oooo! It's a secret admirer after all!" Zhang Wei exclaimed. For some reason, Meiyang grew even more flushed. Not only that, but she seemed... somewhat jealous.

Sighing, Yueting replied, "Just a friend." Technically, it was her love, but she didn't really know that version of Meiyang, so it didn't matter. "I see," Zhang Wei remarked, seemingly not convinced by Yueting's explanation. "When will we leave?" Yueting inquired as she packed her stuff away. "After breakfast. I assume you haven't eaten yet?" Zhang Wei stated. "Mhm," Yueting confirmed as she walked towards them to go to the dining hall.

Yueting still didn't know what exactly to do with all she had learned in the dreamworld. Did Kyo really exist? Or was it maybe a version of Yueting herself? What if it was a way for a Yueting from another timeline to escape the system so she herself wouldn't have to suffer? For some reason, all of that sounded too dumb to be true. Even the thought of having lived many lives without knowing was too insane for Yueting. If she understood correctly, the system didn't think Yueting was its master because Yueting is its master.

The system's style, the clothes, the sword, everything—it wasn't Yueting's style by coincidence. So far, she had found out:

She has always been the system's master, for 8452 tries to be correct. The system turns back time and removes Yueting's memories every time she makes a big mistake. At least one of the Meiyangs knows, and that Meiyang is some type of goddess. The system is limitless and won't hesitate to turn back time again.

All of those things were incredibly challenging for Yueting to handle. She had to follow the system's rules while also ensuring not to make a mistake. No mistakes. Under all circumstances. No mistakes.

Another thing Yueting could probably say, or at least guess, is that 'Kyo' is actually Yueting from a different world, maybe even a different universe. Though the reason as to why Kyo gave it to this Yueting is unknown.

One more thing is that the system didn't notice the change because Yueting is Yueting.

But then why was 'Yueting', aka Kyo, male?

Since Meiyang is different in each world, maybe having a switched gender is possible? This was definitely not only a sign Yueting had to get stronger but also a warning. If she made a mistake and the system would turn back time again, then this would be a never-ending cycle. Looking up, Yueting noticed she was so immersed in her thoughts that they had already finished eating. Whenever Yueting begins thinking, it's as if she automatically does everything else.

"Are you ready to depart?" Zhang Wei inquires of Yueting.

"Mhm," she affirms, nodding her head. Taking her horse out of the stall provided by the inn, Yueting carefully puts on the leash.

"We don't have much longer, do we?" Yueting asks as she emerges from the stall.

"Yeah, we should arrive before night hits," Zhang Wei responds, already standing outside with his and Meiyang's horses.

Stepping outside as well, Meiyang takes her horse.

"Sorry, the inn owner was asking about Yueting," Meiyang explains.

"Why is that?" Yueting inquires.

"Because you look like a noble swordsman," Zhang Wei remarks.

"Is that so? Maybe I should change my look," Yueting muses.

"Going into the demon realm, this is the perfect attire for you," Zhang Wei insists.

"I see," Yueting acknowledges as she begins walking. "We should get going."

Before leaving the city, they must cross the border. Arriving at the inspection, they find many cultivators lined up, waiting their turn.

"What's this?" Yueting inquires.

"You really didn't gather enough information considering you want to cross," Zhang Wei remarks.

"So?" Yueting counters.

"Many people wish to cross, but only certified cultivators and some of noble status can pass," Zhang Wei explains.

"Why is that?" Yueting seeks clarification.

"Because of the many demons on the other side of the border," Meiyang elucidates.

"Ohhh," Yueting acknowledges, finally understanding.

Dismounting from their horses, they join the line.

Reaching the front of the line, the officer in charge begins to speak. "Your pass, sir and young miss," he requests, addressing Meiyang and Zhang Wei.

"Ehh," Meiyang sighs, scratching her head. Looking over to Yueting, expecting her to pull out some golden card, the two of them wait. Noticing this, Yueting begins speaking to the system. "System, do we have one of those pass thingys?" Yueting queries.

⌞System message: Sigh... Why do you always rely on me?⌝

"Well, because you're dependable," Yueting explains.

⌞System message: Wow... Well, alright.⌝

With that, a card appears in Yueting's hand. It's a beautiful purple with golden writing on it. Stepping forward to the officer, Yueting hands him the card. "Is this alright?" she asks.

"My apologies for not directly letting you in, miss. Go on," the officer says as he lets them through, still apologizing.

"So, you're noble after all?" Zhang Wei observes.

"I'm not," Yueting clarifies.

"That was clearly a pass of the highest ranking," Zhang Wei points out.

Yueting had been trying to adhere to the five rules she had been taught since she was young, but the more she travels with the system, the harder it gets.

𝑅𝓊𝓁𝑒 5. 𝒜𝓋𝑜𝒾𝒹 𝓈𝓉𝑒𝓅𝓅𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒾𝓃𝓉𝑜 𝒶 𝑔𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓉 𝓂𝒶𝓃'𝓈 𝓈𝒽𝑜𝑒𝓈

"Yueting, no matter how powerful, smart, or beautiful you are, never take responsibility for your achievements. Make others think you are weak; make them underestimate you," Yueting's mother advises.

For Yueting, these rules were everything, yet she couldn't seem to fulfill them.

Yueting hadn't thought that far. Speaking to the system, Yueting asks, "What does this pass mean?"

⌞System message: Hehe... It's a pass of the highest rank, fit for a hero like you!⌝

Sighing, Yueting tries to find an excuse as she gets onto her horse. "In my sect, it's easy to achieve a rather high rank, so it's just luck," Yueting explains, trying to stay calm.

"Mhmm! I won't believe that!" Meiyang exclaims, pouting.

"Meiyang, get your manners together. You might be standing in front of a high-ranked sect princess," Zhang Wei advises.

"You're not," Yueting corrects. "Let's just forget about what happened," she suggests.

"If you say so," Zhang Wei agrees.

"By the way, how come you want to pass the border but don't have a pass?" Yueting asks, looking back at them.

Hesitating, Zhang Wei speaks up. "I have one, but I lost it along the way," he admits. For Yueting, it was obvious that he was lying, but for some reason, whenever she thought about Zhang Wei, she remembered;

𝑅𝓊𝓁𝑒 4. 𝒦𝓃𝑜𝓌 𝓌𝒽𝑜 𝓎𝑜𝓊'𝓇𝑒 𝒹𝑒𝒶𝓁𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓌𝒾𝓉𝒽, 𝒹𝑜𝓃'𝓉 𝑜𝒻𝒻𝑒𝓃𝒹 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓌𝓇𝑜𝓃𝑔 𝓅𝑒𝓇𝓈𝑜𝓃

Maybe Yueting's gut was telling her that Zhang Wei was some kind of god or something like that. Trusting her intuition, Yueting didn't say anything more.

"NOT MY MANGOES!"
