Kaitlin Lidde, the sister of Alice, was a dear friend of a certain mad person. He was no other than the Mad Hatter himself. She often brought him tea well he kept himself locked up in his shop making hats. Millions of them, everywhere you look in the shop there were stacks upon stacks of hats. Yet he never stops making them.

Kaitlin was his only friend in this crazy land. Probably a good thing too, because without her, he'd lose his mind. Well, he did but not as much as without her. He talks to her and about how he lost his daughter because of some 'evil queen' and she sits and listens to him. She was a really good listener and kept trying to keep him the positive.

One day when she came to visit him she wasn't looking where the hats were and trip on a few. When she opened her eyes not only was she on top of Jefferson but their lips were connected! Her eyes widened and she quickly pulled away and got up.

"I'm so sorry!" Kaitlin quickly said, blushing so red that she could pass as a mushroom. "I wasn't looking where I was going and there so many hats-"

"It's fine, really," The Hatter said sheepishly as he got himself. She looked at him confused. "You see Kaitlin, as time went as we spent together I developed feelings for you. You just make me feel better in this chaotic place and is a positive light in my life."

"Jefferson," she was at a loss for words. "I-I never knew... you felt like t-this."

"I'm sorry," the Hatter said sadly. "I possible just made things worse." He started to walk away but Kaitlin quickly grabs his arm and pulled him toward her.

"No no, I feel the same way," Kaitlin said. "I just didn't know how to react so suddenly." Jefferson smiled, at last, he found someone to be happy with once again.
