Walking up to the stone pedestal he saw a small trinket on it, it appeared to be gold frame with a glass lens and had different jewels in the frame. "This looks interesting" he said reaching for it.

Only once he did it glowed and shined a light on him, initially startled Ben jumped back. Only for the trinket to sprout golden mechanical legs in the shape of an + and shined the light on him again. After the scan was complete it seemed to make a joyful noise and jump towards him. "Hey what's going on?!" He asked backing away only for the small thing to grasp onto him and climb his torso.

"Hey what are you doing get off!" He yelled trying to grab it. However it settled on his chest right on the Omnitrix and fit itself onto the Dial. A perfect match, as if it was meant to be a perfect fit on the alien device. "Okay, that's weird. I'm sorry to be a bad host, but can you please leave?" Ben asked trying to pull the thing off, in reaction the device made a sound akin to distress.

He stopped as the trinket that latched itself onto his Omnitrix made more sounds which seemed like it was begging him to leave it on him. "You, don't want to leave?" He asked, it shook signifying it didn't want to leave, "but what are you?" Ben asked. The glass lens then produced a light and showed a projection of itself, then it latching onto a host and forming a type of exo armament on their bodies. And after images of several more odd looking objects appeared on the screen and when one was above the person with the trinket it had a different effect.

One was an amulet of sorts that had made the armament blast lightning from the host's palms.

Another had been a large metal fist, which the Armament had produced two large gauntlets on the wearer's hands that shook the ground with each punch.

The last example was a sash of sorts with three claw like tassels at the end and the trinket had created a long flexible arm with three claws behind the user's back.

"So, you have the power to mimic those other object's powers?" Ben asked the device. It turned the projection off and shook up and down, "but why me?" He asked once more. It made a few squeaks and projected another image of it latching onto other hosts and majority had an ❌ on them while a special few had a check mark ✅ .

At first Ben didn't understand, but he some how cane up with one thought. "Wait, So you're saying a special few can use you?" He asked, the device excitedly shook up and down as he understood. "And you consider me one who can use it?" He asked, it nodded again, "well... if you're sure. I'll let you tag along with me for the ride" he said looking around, "now... to find a way out of this cave" he said.

Just then the lens glowed and projected a map, "okay, you are a very useful tool" Ben laughed and ran through the cave. He made a turn and found himself above a large river of Lava, "well.. this isn't going to go well" he said backing away, then remembered "oh yeah" he then released a bright light.

Ben then smirked and ran to the river and jumped growing Astrodactyl's jet pack. He soared above the molten rock and got to the other side safely, "well that was easy" he said as the trinket nodded in agreement. Then it vibrated, "hey anything wrong?" Ben asked it, it then made a projection again, this time of another one of those mystic objects.

It appeared to be a good sword with a bronze handle, and silver parts with the infinity symbol on it. "I'm guessing that another one of the weapons that were created alongside you" he said, it squeaked conforming his observation. The sword was then spun around and made a rip in time and space, "so this thing can cut through reality and create portals huh? We should probably retrieve it before it ends up in the wrong hands" Ben said before turning is legs into XLR8's and sped through the cave.

After more twists and turns he finally found his way out, "Okay, now where is this here sword?" He asked before his new trinket had projected another map. This one of the entire world, and located the sword being in an old abandoned castle. "Thanks, looks like it's at Loch Ness in Scotland" Ben then sped off again, unaware that above him was a large green blur in the sky flying in the same direction.

After a long distance the hero found himself in they country of Scotland, "I don't know why, but I really like this old world charm this place has going on" Ben admitted. The Dial then squeaked again, "right right, focus on finding the sword", the device then gave him a map of Scotland, mainly the towns around Loch Ness. "That's strange, I don't see any castles on the map, where is that sword?" Ben asked. Only to see a blip coming from a vastly large area... which had been at one of the shores of the Loch.

"Oh no" Ben groaned, he then walked to the shoreline near to where the Dial had picked up the signal. "If Nessie comes up to have me for breakfast I'm gonna hightail it out of here" he said before using Omni again and dived into the water.

As he entered the lake, the alien looked around to get his bearings. "Okay, mind bringing up that map again?" He asked, the trinket projected it once more and Ben read it. "Okay, it should be around the next bend, and right beneath a large coastal ridge" he said, then swam over to said area.

During which above the water was a green Viking boat, inside it was a yellow boy with a ball shaped head. A teenage boy with brown hair wearing an orange and green shirt. A muscular young man wearing a cowboy hat, and a young girl with pink hair tied up in a flowery style. The boat then spoke "almost their, I can feel it" it said, "remind me again. What Shen Gong Wu is this?" The teenager asked.

The ball headed boy replied with "the Sword of Dimensions" he then pulled out a scroll that showed an image of the same sword Hen was looking for. "It is a powerful Shen Gong Wu that can tear holes in the fabric of reality. Additionally it could also create portals to any location the user wishes" he said.

"Which is why we need to get it before Jack does, if he had it he and Wuya can teleport to our dojo and steal all the Wu we've collected so far" the girl said. "Well I reckon we find that big ole butter knife and fast. Otherwise Master Fung will not be happy with us" the boy with the cowboy that said. Just as he said that the boat had a a type of spasm "Dojo! What's wrong?" The yellow boy asked, "guys in coming. I got another Shen Gong Wu activates, And it's close by" the boat known as Dojo said.

"It's called the Dial of Wu, whoever wears it gets the power of all the different Shen Gong Wu at their finger tips" he said as the scroll showed the image of the Dial Ben now held. "Great, Another all powerful Wu we cant let Jack get his hands on" the teenager groaned, "though there's is a funny thing about the Dial Raimundo" Dojo said as they hit land. They gang got out as the boat transformed into a small green dragon, "what's that Dojo?" The Brazilian teen, now known as Raimundo, asked.

"Because the Dial of Wu is sentient. It's able to act and think on its own accord and is very picky about the user who wields it" Dojo replied jumping on the ball shaped boy's shoulder. "Why is that?" He asked, "Well Omi, it's the criteria the Dial has. Whoever it wants to let use it, must have a pure heart, a strong will to help others and be able to handle so much power at once" the dragon explained.

The cowboy then spoke up "well that's an interesting fact" he commented, "well Clay Dojo did say the Wu was sentient. Maybe it's a girl and is looking for the right guy to spend its eternity with" the girl said.

"Now don't be ridiculous Kimiko, even Dojo said the Dial of Wu can think on its own doesn't mean it's a girl..." Raimundo was saying before being interrupted by Dojo. "Actually, the last time I saw the Dial of Wu it had acted a bit like a girl" he said making the kid sweat drop.

"Anyways, seems like the Wu is down in the Loch" he said, "Wait, the Loch, as in Loch Ness. The place with the Loch Ness monster?" The girl known as Kimiko asked. "Now don't tell me you believe in such nonsense" the boy Omi said, "now how do we get down there?" He asked.

Dojo then jumped off and shifted forms again to take on that of a submarine, "all aboard" he said. Back with Ben, he was still under the surf, looking around for the castle. "Man this place is deep, no wonder no one has found old Nessie yet" Omni commented before seeing a shining light coming from a seaweed bush. "Wait, what's through there?" He then swam over to it and saw a hole behind it emitting the light, "Okay now we're getting somewhere" he said before trying to pull it open.

What he hadn't noticed was that the dragon submarine was coming towards his location, "anything yet Dojo?" Kimiko asked. "Nothin, well besides that light coming from that seaweed" he replied. Looking to wear his periscope was pointed they saw the bush he was talking about. "That must be where the Wu is" Omi said, Dojo them deployed two arms from his body and attempted to move the plants, only to see a lizard tail inside a hole behind the seaweed.

This had scared everyone "AHHHH?!?!" They all screamed "THE LOCH NESS MONSTER'S REAL!!!" Looking back. Ben had seen them, and had been startled and fell into the hole "ow..." he groaned. The alien then saw the castle that had held the Sword of Dimensions,

"This must be it" he said swimming around, then saw the sub burst in. "Hey that isn't the Loch Ness monster, it's just some kind of giant lizard man" Raimundo said. "Hey Dojo, that a relative of your's" Kimiko asked, "har har har very funny" The dragon sub replied. "Woah there, I'm not looking for any trouble" Omni said backing up, "I'm just here to find a sword" he explained. "Wait, it wouldn't happen to be a sword that can tear through the fabric of space time would it?" Omi asked, "Yeah now that you mention it" Ben was saying before being interrupted when several robots bursted through another wall and swam in.

Along with them was a teenager with red hair and yellow and red swirly goggles and... is that eye liner? inside a submersible. "You sure the next Shen Gong Wu is here Wuya?" He asked, a ghostly head then appeared next to him. "Have I ever been wrong before?" she asked, then spotted the group in the sun and Ben "the Xiaolin monks are already here!! And a lizard man... apparently?" He asked confused. "Jack Spicer! If you are here to get either the Sword of Dimensions or the Dial of Wu, you shall not get your wish!" Omi shouted.

"Yeah right, with my new aquatic Jack Bots, I'll find that sword in no time" the red hair, now known as Jack, said. "I'm guessing he's the bad guy so... I'm gonna go find that sword now!" Ben said before turning his legs and tail into Rip Jaw's fish tail. Then swam into the castle, "quick we have to find the Wu" Kimiko said as they all dived into the water with Dojo letting them out and turning into an eel.

"Jack Bots, fan out" Jack said as his mechanical minions sped into the structure. As Ben swam around he used Armadrillo's drill arm to smash the walls to get into locked doors. Then had figured that if it was a powerful sword it would've been locked up, like in the bowels of the castle. And used his drill to dig into the floor, "this better work" he growled before busting in and found the sword resting on a pile of gold in an air pocket under the castle.

"Jack pot" he said before popping into the chamber and used Stink Fly's wings to fly down. Only to see Jack burst in as well along with the, now dubbed, Xiaolin Monks, "oh no. Jack and the Lizard man have beat us to it!" Raimundo said.

"Not if I have anything to say about it!" Ben said before flying at high speed to the Wu and grabbed it. Just as Jack had also grabbed it at the same time, the sword then glowed. "What the?" Ben said confused "it's a Xiaolin showdown" Dojo said. "The heck's a Xiaolin Showdown?" Omni asked again, "a challenge, winner gets all the Wu" Dojo said slithering up to them.

"Ha Ha, this lizard doesn't even know what a Xiaolin showdown is. Ha ha! Well in that case I challenge you to a Xiaolin Showdown" Jack said. Then took out a small Amulet "my Eye if Dashi for your... wait what Shen Gong Wu do you have?" He asked confused. "Uh... I have this?" Ben said pointing to his new Dial which made both Dojo and Wuya gasp. "It's the Dial of Wu!" They Both said.

"You have to get it! It can use the power of any Shen Gong Wu!" Wuya said, "fine I wager my Eye of Dashi for your Dail of Wu" Jack said. "Fine, besides where I'm from I'm a hero, and since you have several robot minions, not to mention that evil spirit hanging with you you're obviously the threat to humanity here" Ben said growling. "And since you challenged me, I pick the game, the game is Aqu-obstacle course. Whoever makes it out of the underwater Obstacle course wins" Omni explained. "Agreed"

"Xiaolin Showdown! Gong I Tapai!"

The cave then changed radically, and became a large underwater obstacle course. "Woah, this is weird" Omni said floating in the water with Jack floating next to him wearing flippers and a floatie. "This is embarrassing" Wuya groaned face palming, Dojo then stood at the top of the starting line "on your marks, get set, Go!" He yelled. Ben then took off with blinding speed, "oh man!" Jack said before swimming after him, "Eye of Dashi!" He yelled before holding up his Wu and shot a bolt of lightning towards Ben. Who saw and used Feedback's power to absorb the blast, unaware that Jack had zapped himself when he fired that bolt.

"Two can play at that game" Ben said turning around, "Okay got any Wu that could help us out in this situation?" Ben asked the Dial. It shook up and down and formed two palm blasters on his hands. Then projected the name of an orb shaped Shen Gong Wu in his head that can blast water. "Well that's gonna be handy" Omni then swam further down the obstacles dodging several nets, coral shards and sea weed patches.

Nearing the end Ben looked back see Jack cheating by using the helicopter blades on the backpacker still had on. "Stop right now! I am getting those Wu even if it's the last thing I do!" He yelled, "well then this is the last thing you'll be doing today" Ben taunted before aiming both of his hands at the villain. "Dial of Wu! Copy power! Orb of Tornami!" In a moment Ben launches a water current as strong as an actual one out at sea and launched Jack back while boosting himself forward.

He eventually won and gained the Eye of Dashi, Sword of Dimensions and kept his Dial of Wu. "Wow, not bad for a first timer" Clay said walking over to Ben, "listens as I said, I don't want any trouble. This, Dial of Wu told me to find Shen Gong Wu and put them where they can't be used often" he explained. Jack Spicer then yelled "yeah keep your Dial, I'll get it one of these days!" He said unaware of the large shadow looming above him. Then felt water dripping on him, and when he looked up... there she was. Nessie!!

"AAAAAHHH!!! It's real The Loch Ness Monster is Real!!" He yelled getting back into his submersible and swam away. Nessie has winked at the team and swam after him.

"Well... that was weird, amazing but weird... anyway we know, but... we need to collect that Wu for the same purpose" Kimiko said, Ben then tilted his head. "Mainly we Xiaolin monks have been tasked with searching for and collecting various Shen Gong Wu. Powerful tools of mystic power, to keep them out of the hands of evil" Omi explained.

"Evil huh? Tell you what, let's make a deal" Ben said, later on they rode Dojo back to their home. When they got there Ben met Master Fung, the Xiaolin Dragon's teacher, where he recognized Ben as he slayer of the monster Daigon. In appreciation for what Ben has done for the universe the elder had allowed the shapeshifter to stay. Provided he took the same classes as his Monks.
