Our heroes have arrived at a Pokemon Center on their way to Cyllage City, where Ash discovers the world of Pokevision—promotional videos that Trainers make to show off their Pokemon. They then upload their finished videos to an online viewing site, and after viewers vote for their favorites, the top ten videos are announced. Serena decides she wants to make a Pokevision video with Fennekin, and Bonnie wants to make a video with Dedenne. But since Dedenne isn't her Pokemon, she decides to make a video starring Clemont as part of her ongoing quest to find him a wife, much to his chagrin.

Y/n and Camilla on the other hand, were currently at Paldea. S/n had requested their help for a something important, they agreed and teleport to her with the help of Paluetna's Gardevoir. They arrived at Inlet Grotto where they saw S/n and another master guardian, Ei Raiden, a master of electric type Pokemon.

They were facing a duo who were using a Metagross and a Salamance, but the guardians immediately something was wrong with them. Their eyes were red and they were letting out a dark aura that was setting off alarms in their heads.  This caused both of them to act, Y/n sent out his Haxarous while Camilla sent out a Hydreigon.

"Dark pulse!"

"Ice punch!"

Hydreigon opens its mouth and a light purple orb of energy surrounded in black and purple rings of energy appears inside it. It then fires a beam of black and purple rings of energy from the orb inside its mouth at Metagross while Lucario's fist becomes surrounded by icy-blue energy and he punches the Salamance. This knocked both Pokemon back to their trainers and sent them crashing to the wall knocked out. 

"Ei, fill us in." Camilla told her fellow master guardian.

"The Pokemon they both used are known as shadow Pokemon, Pokemon created through an undisclosed process that removes the Pokemon's emotions, turning it into a soulless fighting machine." Ei explained to Y/n and Camilla who were horrified at hearing this. "Fortunately, the machine that created them is destroyed and we need help snagging the remaining shadow Pokemon."

"Snagging?" Y/n asked confused.

Ei approached Y/n before attaching a device on his right arm. "This is a snag machine will turn any Pokeball into a snag ball. There able to capture Pokemon belonging to trainers, but other then that their the same as normal Pokeballs."

Deciding to test it, Y/n charged up two Ultra balls before tossing them at the two downed shadow Pokemon.

1...2..3 and Ping. And with that, Salamance and Metagross is caught.

The Pokeballs that once held the shadow Pokemon suddenly exploded, startling them slightly. Camilla then took the two for interrogation, Y/n talked with his sister and Ei.   

"Here master Ei." Y/n said as he handed her the two Ultra balls that contained the two shadow Pokemon. 

"How many times do i have to tell you to just call me Ei, Y/n?" The master guardian asked in amusement. " You don't have to be so formal with me"

"Sorry, sorry. Force of habit."

Camilla soon returned. "I have information of their plans, their plan was to use the three legendary birds in galarian forms to attack towns and cities."

"The legendary birds have regional forms?"

"Indeed, they appear at the Dyna tree of the galar regions crown tundra every few decades. It seems that they managed to figure out when they will appear and captured them." She explained. " They were given to three different grunts as their higher ups has been captured, their scattered across the region, but i have a way to gather them here."

Timeskip

Three goon rushed into Inlet Grotto when they got alerts of an emergency, but when they got deep inside the cave, a aura dome suddenly surrounded them. They looked back to see Y/n and the two master guardians standing their with crossed arms.

"Got a emergency alert did you?" Camilla asked slightly sarcastic. " I "convinced" your allies to corporate with us. Now we can do this is easy way, or the hard way."

They hesitated, but they sent out the three shadow legendaries.

Y/n scanned them with his Pokedex.

"Articuno, Galarian form. The Cruel Pokemon, a Psychic and Flying Type. Its feather-like blades are composed of psychic energy and can shear through thick iron sheets as if they were paper."

"Zapdos. Galarian form. The Strong Legs Pokemon. A Fighting and Flying Type. One kick from its powerful legs will pulverize a dump truck. Supposedly, this Pokemon runs through the mountains at over 180 mph."

"Moltres, Galarian form. The Malevolent Pokemon. A Dark and Flying Type. This Pokemon's sinister, flame-like aura will consume the spirit of any creature it hits. Victims become burned-out shadows of themselves."

Y/n sent out Lucario, Camilla sent out her Hydreigon while Ei sent out a Electivire. But the guardians could do anything, the shadow Pokemon attacked their own trainers, surprising the guardians. But they quickly shook it off and attacked.

"Aura sphere!"

"Tri attack!"

"Thunderbolt!"

Hydreigon opens the mouths on its three heads and charges an orb of energy before each of them, all with different colors. It then fires an Ice-type move from the left arm head, a Fire-type move from the middle head, and an Electric-type move from the right arm head. The fire type move hit Moltres, the ice type move hit Articuno and the electric type hit Zapdos, sending them all back.

Lucario then created a sphere of aura before launching it, at the same time Electivire fired a bolt of lighting. The two attacked merged and struck the galarian trio, causing a electric explosion. When it died down, it revealed the trio was down and cannot move.

Taking the chance, Y/n changed up three dusk balls and threw them at the down legendaries.

"No!" One of the goons shouted as they tried to recall the shadow Pokemon, but they were too slow.

1...2...3 and Ping. And with that, Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres was caught.

The goons could only stare in shock that their plans crumbled to dust before their eyes, and as if to add insult to injury, the Pokeballs that once held the shadow legendaries blew up in their faces, covering them with soot. Before they could react, the master guardians quickly captured them.

After dropping the goons with Officer Jenny, the guardians and S/n were at the guardian school. They had made a purification machine  to purify the Shadow Pokemon Y/n had captured, along a few S/n had caught before Y/n and  got there Camilla. After purification, the former shadow Pokemon were sent to their parents to recover. 

They decided to have lunch before Y/n and Camilla returned to Kalos, as they ate, Y/n could only wonder what the future holds as the journey continues.
