Third POV
The Marley Warriors have just arrived to Paradis Island. There were trees for where they were going to go.

Y/N: This is it. Paradis Island.

A gust of wind hit the Marley Warriors like it was symbolizing for them to move forward

Y/N: We should be going now

Everyone responds with a nod

After some time as they all were walking and chatting, they all eventually stopped so Marcel can transform into his Titan form to be better transportation

Reiner and Bertolt was breathing in and out as he was trying to catch his breath

Y/N: Don’t worry guys, as soon as Marcel gets his stamina back up to, we can take a rest

Everyone decided to rest from how they seemed fit. Annie was up on a tree reading a book, Reiner and Bertolt were below Annie’s tree still trying to catch their breath, Marcel and Lara were speaking with each other about their Titan abilities while Y/N and Pieck were side by side being silent

Y/N: We’re pretty quiet don’t you think?

Y/N said to Pieck as he tilted his head towards her

Pieck: Yeah so what do you want to talk about then?

Y/N was thinking about any conversation topics

Y/N: Well how’s your father been doing?

Pieck looked down with a calm expression on her face

Pieck: He’s doing fine. He’s still getting his medication so that’s all that matters.

Y/N: ‘Maybe that wasn’t the best conversation topic’ That’s good…

Y/N and Pieck stayed silent for a while until Y/N decided to speak up to her

Y/N: You know, I’m sorry for taking you on this mission. I thought you genuinely would’ve made a great asset to this mission so-

Pieck looked at Y/N and put her hand on his shoulder

Pieck: Don’t worry about it, when this mission is complete. I will get more benefits from the Marleyan government for my dad and I so it was a benefit for me as well.

Pieck said with a smile on her face towards Y/N

Y/N: I’m glad you see it that way

Y/N smiles back at Pieck and both of them get quiet again

Y/N: I’ll protect you from anything that will happen to us. So don’t worry about not seeing your father again

Y/N said as he broke the silence between them

Pieck smiled more brightly at Y/N than before

Pieck: Thank you Y/N, but you do mean all of us right?

Y/N looked at Pieck’s smile in awe and he looked at her for a good 30 seconds

Y/N: Ahem yes of course, sorry for looking at you like that

Y/N turns his head away as he pretends to cough so he puts his hand on his mouth so Pieck wouldn’t see that he was blushing. Pieck smirks in enjoyment as she knew that Y/N was blushing

Pieck: Don’t give it a second thought Y/N.

Marcel: Alright everyone I think I’m ready to transform now

Y/N: That’s good so we should all stay back

Annie jumps down from her tree joining Reiner and Bertolt as they all were backing up

Lara: Before that though, we should arrange our order so it could be the most beneficial for all of us if anything were to happen to us

Y/N: Good plan Lara. Reiner and I will stay in front of Marcel while you and Bertolt stay on Marcel’s left side while Annie and Pieck will stay on Marcel’s right side

Everyone nods their head in response to Y/N’s plan

Y/N: Perfect, let's get into position!

A few moments later, the Marley Warriors are at their assigned positions as Marcel is in the middle of all of them. As Marcel was going to bite down on his hand, he stopped and saw that a Titan appeared behind Reiner and Y/N. In response to this, Marcel ran towards Reiner and Y/N.

Y/N: Marcel what are you doin-

Y/N looks behind him and Reiner quickly looks behind himself as well and they both see a Titan behind them that is about to grab the both of them

Reiner screams as Y/N looks in horror as he tries to harden any kind of weapon he can think of.

The Titan grabs Y/N and Reiner with one their hand and in response to this, Marcel jumps at the Titan’s hand and he tries to pull Y/N and Reiner out of the Titan’s hold of them

Marcel: I can’t, it’s too strong!

Marcel opened his eyes as his arms felt like they going to be pulled out and he saw the Titan’s mouth open

Reiner and Marcel felt like they were going to die but Y/N was concentrating on hardening his weapon. In a matter of seconds, Y/N hardens a sword out his hand and rips out of the Titan’s hold, having Marcel and Reiner fall. Y/N grabs Marcel and pulls him out of the way so he could fight the Titan but in response of Y/N cutting part of the Titan’s hand, it sweeps down their mouth and ends up eating Reiner’s right arm, Y/N’s hands with his hardened sword, and Marcel’s left arm

Blood floods out of the three Marley Warriors and they all fall down on the floor. The three Marley Warriors scream in agony as the rest of the Marley Warriors look in horror and try to go and help them.

Y/N sees the rest of his friends running towards him as Annie and Lara were going to transform but then Y/N moved his eyes down and saw that the Titan that attacked Marcel, Reiner and him fell down as a human was coming out of it but everything seemed blurred in Y/N’s point of view. All he could see was a brown hair that looked roughly their age

Y/N: Don’t…trans..form

Y/N said as he was holding out his handless right arm towards the rest of friends who were running towards him, Marcel and Reiner

The rest of the Marley Warriors held up the injured Y/N, Reiner and Marcel and they all fled the scene
