It's Monday and I am here with the next part of this story😀😀😀. Apologies for delay as I was caught up with my work.

"SONAKSHI KYA TUM MUJHEY DO MAHINEY KA TIME DE SAKTI HO?" asked Dev with hopeful eyes and Sonakshi turned back to look at him, confusion was clearly etched on her face unable to understand what Dev was alluding to.

"Do Mahiney?" she asked in a confused voice as Dev replied "Haan Sonakshi, give me two months so that I can convince my mother about us, about our relationship, about why you are the best for me" he said as Sonakshi sensed the sincerity in his voice but then she had her own fears about it.

"And What if even after two months your mother is not convinced and does not agree to our relationship Dev?" she asked letting her fear out while Dev looked at her, his eyes blank but then spoke in a calm voice.

"Then I will leave the decision to you Sonakshi. It will be your decision on how you want to take our relationship forward" he said as Sonakshi kept looking at him and said.

"Dev, when we both are in this relationship how can I alone take any decision about it and if your mother does not accept will you give up on our love as well?" she asked as Dev replied.

"I can never give up on our love Sonakshi but saying that I cannot keep on holding on to you because of my mother's unacceptance, right? It will be selfish of me to do that and moreover it will be unfair to you and your family Sonakshi. You have your dreams; your parents have dreams about your future and I do not want those to be broken because of me Sonakshi" he said in a choked voice indicating how difficult it would have been for him to say that to her while Sonakshi on the other hand fell into a little more love (if that was possible) with the person sitting in front of him.

"And what if I give up on our love Dev, will you be able to accept it or If I tell you to choose between the two of us, then what Dev?" Sonakshi asked looking at him intently, she knew the question would have hurt him but at the same time it was important for them to clear all the questions which they had in their hearts & minds.

"To be very honest it will kill me Sonakshi, in fact I had already experienced it that day when I gave up on our love that day" he said as tears glistened his eyes even at the thought of that which Sonakshi did not miss, she hated herself for putting him through such a situation, while Dev retained his composure and continued "But I cannot bind or force you to be in relationship with me Sonakshi. If anyone of us gives up then even if the other tries to keep it intact it's not possible Sonakshi because as one of us is not invested in the relationship anymore. And if we forcefully try to keep the relation it's bound to fail" he finished while once again Sonakshi fell in love with him all over again as a smile adorned her face.

"And coming to your second question, I know that my Sonakshi would never in her dreams ask me to choose, so there is no point answering that question" he said smiling through his tears while she brought her hand forward and wiped his tears. Pulling the chair, she sat beside him, snaking her hands around his hand she kept her head on his shoulder.

After a few moments Dev said "Sonakshi, Can I request you something else?" as Sonakshi replied "You don't need to ask for permission Dev" as Dev smiled nervously, Sonakshi sensed that he was hesitant to ask so she said "Dev, Please tell without any hesitation"

Gathering his courage Dev said "Sonakshi, can you please leave your job at Ishwari Niwas and start working at the hospital again", for a moment Sonakshi thought she did not hear it right or maybe Dev was joking but seeing the serious expression on his face it dawned to her that he was not joking, she tried to hold back the tears forming in her eyes as she said in a choked tone.

"Why Dev? Why are you doing this?" she said looking at him with questioning eyes as Dev took her palm in his and holding it tight he said "Sonakshi, Mujhey lagta hai ki Maa ko ye darr hai ki humarey rishtey ki wajah se main uss sey door jaa raha hoon. Main uskey iss darr ko mitana chahta hoon Sonakshi, Ye do mahiney uskey saath zyada se zyada waqt bitana chahta hoon taaki uskey darr ko kum kar sakoon. Usey ye yakeen dila sakoon ki tumhari mere zindagi main aa jaaney se mere aur maa ke rishtey main koi doori nahi aayi hai balki humara rishta aur khoobsurat bann gaya hai" he said hoping that she could understand his dilemma which she did in fact.

"But then what about Maa's health Dev?" she asked in a concerned tone, tears were still glistening her eyes while Dev replied "You can prepare her diet chart every week and send it to house Sonakshi and I will send her reports to you as well so that you can monitor her health" he said as Sonakshi slowly nodded her head but then something caught her attention

"What do you mean by send her reports Dev, won't you meet me as well?" she asked as Dev sighed sadly and replied "We will meet on every Sunday Sonakshi and that will be just our time, away from the world without any interference" he said knowing it would be difficult to convince her.

"Please don't do this Dev, already you are asking me to leave the job at your house and now you are telling that we will just meet once a week. How will I spend a day without seeing you Dev, please don't do this" she sobbed as Dev hugged her tight and said "It will be difficult for me as well Sonakshi, but I am doing this for us. And it's just the matter of two months Sonakshi after that we will be together forever" he said confidently as Sonakshi kept quiet.

"Please Sonakshi, I know it will be difficult but we will sail through this" he said trying to reassure her as she lightly nodded her head and then asked.

"Dev Do you think I should talk to Auntyji once. Maybe I can try to reduce her fears?" she asked as Dev replied "No Sonakshi, let me talk to Maa else she might think that you are trying to influence our relationship and I do not want that to happen. Already Mamiji is creating doubts in her mind, I need to find a solution for that as well" he said as Sonakshi nodded understanding him, it was better that Dev deals with his mother without anyone's interference.

Both were silent for some time before Sonakshi spoke "Why Dev? Why is this happening to us?", Dev just looked at her and bringing her forehead forward he pecked on it and said "I don't know Sonakshi, but I only know one thing that this temporary distance between us will strengthen our relationship. And you only say right that till the time we are together we will face and overcome every difficulty" he finished while Sonakshi just laid her head on his shoulder while Dev said "Sonakshi, you have been telling right that you need to learn a few courses for which you were not getting time, why don't you start it now?" as she nodded in agreement, finishing their coffee they left for Sonakshi's house.

But unknown to them someone had heard their entire conversation and knew it was important to set things right before it's too late.

Dev and Sonakshi were standing outside the Bose house, both not ready leave but they knew they had to. Sonakshi had just moved forward to leave but the next moment she ran back and held Dev tightly as he responded back with the same fervor, they did not know for how long did they stand like that when suddenly they felt droplets of water falling on them, it had started to rain as both were surprised for it was an unseasonal rain as a smile played on their lips.

Coming out of the hug Dev moved back a bit, forwarding his hand he said, "Ms. Sonakshi Bose, Will you dance with me?" as tears glistened Sonakshi's eyes, all the memories flooded back in her mind, it was these memories that would help them sail through these two months, she nodded her head vigorously in a yes and forwarded her hand to hold his as they engaged themselves in a dance, losing themselves into each other while the rain intensified.

Suddenly there was a thunder, the sudden sound of which scared Sonakshi as she hugged Dev tightly as he hugged her back, slowly coming out of the hug he pecked her forehead and said "Miss me mon amour (my love)" as Sonakshi replied.

"I cannot miss you Dev" she said as Dev asked "Matlab?"

"Jab tum mujhmey mujhsey zyada ho toh main tumhey kaisey miss kar sakti hoon Dev" she said with a smile through her tears as Dev's eyes glistened with tears as well, he just hoped that the love between them never faded away as he tightened his hug while the rain intensified, it was as if the rain gods who were witnessing them were shedding tears as well for the couple in love. After a few seconds both left each other with great difficulty once again promising each other that no matter what they would face everything together.

The next day morning Sonakshi got up a bit late since she did not have to go to Ishwari Niwas and just the very thought of it brought a fresh set of tears in her eyes, in a short time it had become a second home for her. She knew she was going to miss everyone Auntyji, Riya, Nikki, Mamaji and the most important person who had become her life Dev. She hoped Dev could convince Auntyji quickly. After sending a good morning message to Dev, she got up and freshened after which she went down for breakfast.

"Sona, Tu tayar nahi hui beta. Aaj kaam pe nahi jaana hai beta?" asked Bijoy as Sonakshi approached the breakfast table.

"Nahi Baba, Aaj se main Ishwari Niwas nahi jaungi kaam pe" she said as she sat down as a surprised Bijoy asked "Matlab?"

"Mainey wo naukri chodd di hai Baba" she said as it shocked Bijoy just as Asha came with the breakfast as Bijoy screamed "Ye tum kya keh rahi ho Sona?"

"Kya hua Bijoy? Tum chila kyun rahey ho?" asked Asha as Bijoy replied "Asha, Tumey suna Sona ne kya kaha abhi. Wo keh rahi hai ki usney Ishwari Niwas main naukri chod di hai" as Asha was left shocked while turning towards Sonakshi Bijoy asked "Sona Beta, sach sach bata kahin Dev ne ye phir uss ghar main kisi ne tujhsey kaha hai kya?"

"Baba, Kisi ne kuch nahi Kaha. Ye faisla hum dono ne milkar liya hai" she said confusing both Asha and Bijoy even more.

"Matlab, Tu kehna kya chahti hai Sona?" asked Asha as Sonakshi narrated the happenings of the previous evening and their subsequent decision which left both Asha and Bijoy shocked, coming out of the shock Asha said.

"Sona, I am proud of you Beta. Mujhey Khushi hai ki tum dono ek saath iss problem ka solution nikalna chahtey ho and I am proud ki tu Dev ka saath de rahi hai beta" she said caressing Sonakshi's hair.

"Wo sab toh Theek hai Asha, Lekin Sona beta agar do mahiney baad bhi agar Dev Ishwair Ji ko convince nahi kar paaya toh?" asked Bijoy expressing his concern.

"Baba, Iss waqt mujhey sirf Dev ka saat dena hai" she said firmly as Asha agreed with her but Bijoy was not convinced, before he could ask anything house bell rang, Sonakshi got up to open the door. Reaching the door, she opened it but as soon as she saw the person standing at the door she was left surprised wondering why was the person at her house so early in the morning as she said.

"TUM YAHAN?"
