IT was not a normal morning in the BCCI headquarters. People were being mad. Media was being absolutely bonkers and some people in BCCI were silently celebrating. IT was just the scenario they needed to defame and get rid of some people.

But not in even their wildest dreams, any member of BCCI, any person working there had imagined the glass gates opening to let in four absolutely dashing guys looking like they had just walked out of GQ magazine's cover page even with the bandages on them, so early in morning.

The four guys walked in the premises of BCCI like they owned the whole building. They strode in with a lazy confident aura all around them as they made their way to the president's office.

Leaving whispered songs of awe, sosbelief and uncontaminated hatred on every path they walked by though they didn't pay any heed to the falling papers, slipping coffee cups and awed gasps as they took the turn the lift to the president's floor.

Inside the lift, all four let out a relaxing breath away from prying eyes and judging people. They sighed in relief. The guy clearly the leader of this small group turned to the rest of the boys, passing them assuring smiles. The boys smiled back though they were clearly feeling a little more terrified then they let on.

"Areey...don't worry Kul everything will be fine. You trust me right!!" Virat said, wrapping an assuring arm around Kuldeep.

"With my life bhaiyaa!!" Kul stated.

Virat pulled the kid in a bone crushing side hug reassuring him. Jasprit automatically slipping under his Virat bhaiya's other arm while Harry jumped from behind his arms wrapping around Virat's neck as he hid, his face in Virat's shoulder.

He won't admit it ever but he was feeling scared too. They all were but their Virat bhaiya was with them and that's all that really mattered to them.

He will make it all alright. He'll do it. They don't know how but if he said he'll do it, then, it meant he'll.

Somehow, he'll make it alright.

And the kids knew this to be relaxed.

When the doors of lift opened, they were standing side by side with their aloof, flamboyant masks on. They walked out of the lift like the men in black on world saving mission.

"Oh! Virat you're here. All of you are," Saurav Ganguly's secretory exclaimed, a little wide eyed, noticing all of them so early in the BCCI office.

"Hmm...Saurav sir, here?" Virat asked, nodding in greeting.

"Yeah, he's in" The secretory affirmed, still, watching the guys wide eyed.

"Cool! so, I can see him now?" Virat asked. He wasn't in a mood to be patient right now.

"Yeah! Yeah! You all can go in" He said.

"Well, only I'm going" Virat cleared smiling sternly.

"but" the secretory tried to protest but Virat and his kids had already walked away towards Sourav's cabin.

"Wait here! Everything will be alright" Virat assured asking the boys to wait in the specially made waiting room for the ICT.

"But...Bhaiya, we all were involved" Jassi protested.

Harry and Kul nodding their heads vehemently in support. How could they let their bhaiya face the tiger alone? When they were the one who started all this?

"I got this guys. Relax and eat something for godsake!!" Virat said, ruffling each of their heads and ordering them to stay there.

"Okay" Jassi nodded.

"Should we order something for you to bhaiya?" Kul asked.

"Give your card to order na," Harry asked Virat, trying to lighten up the atmosphere and of course, treat himself.

Shaking his head.

Virat handed his card to Harry and walked towards Sourav's cabin, mumbling about crazy kids.

He knocked on Sourav's cabin door.

"May I come in, sir" asked Virat and entered only when he heard Saurav's command to enter.

The few staff members watching this felt very happy to know Virat was so afraid of Saurav. They were mentally dreaming how badly Virat will be thrashed by Saurav this time. Even god can't save him.

Unknown to their thoughts, Virat walked in with his warrior front on, perfect poker face on as he stood in front of Saurav with hands locked behind his back. Looking quite like a student standing in front of his teacher when his notebook is being checked.

Saurav looked from under his glasses at Virat. Saurav's face was totally emotionless as he gestured towards the newspaper on his desk with the headlines.

"Team India gone Rouge. Is this Captain Kohli's New India ?"

"Wanna explain?" Saurav demanded seriously looking absolutely strict.

"Sir, they attacked first we just defended," Virat said defiantly meeting Dada's eyes. It was clear, he wasn't going to divulge any other information on the matter.

Sourav rubbed his head feeling an incoming headache already. Nowadays, realizing ones and again how hard it must have been for Jammy and Lacchu to deal with him and his antics.

"Can you spare me the press conference speech and tell the reality Virat!" Dada inquired pointedly, giving Virat a spill the beans look.

"You're calling me Virat!" Virat noted wide eyed, ignoring the rest of Dada's statement with expertise.

"You're calling me Sourav" Dada pinpointed exhaling tiredly. Well, Virat was the one who started the drama of standing in a ceremony in front of him.

"Well, not my fault few flies had their ears pressed against your door, Dada, you know you should kinda install a security cam there to intimidate them or something," Virat shrugged, flopping on the chair in front of Dada and picking up Dada's paper weight to mess around with.

Dada sent Virat a look that clearly spelled- he didn't need to intimidate people.

"What's this mess again Cheeku? Why are you hell bent on giving me extra headaches?" Dada asked again, when he saw Virat so engrossed in analyzing the paper weight rotating in his chair totally ignoring him.

"Dada! IT wasn't our fault really" Virat stated putting special emphasis on "wasn't" and Dada couldn't help but rub his head again. God, this kid will give him multiple headaches.

"Really then why the heck I'm reading Ict turned roadside rouges on football pitch news,Cheeku?" Dada asked very-very strictly.

And Cheeku suddenly looked like a kicked puppy.

"But they started abusing Mahi bhai first na dada, even tried to hurt Kul and Subhi down that's why the kids attacked. They were just trying to defend themselves na and Jaddu and I just helped settling the matter. We were separating them and trying to get the situation in control," Virat added the last part adopting a "Kane Williamson" aura looking so innocent like he couldn't even hurt a fly in his whole life.

"yeah, yeah, absolutely, holding them by the scruff of their necks na" Dada said pointedly.

Virat just grinned sheepishly at his dada.

Dada couldn't help but sigh again.

"At least tell me, Did you teach them proper lessons for Mahiya?" Dada asked exhaling softly. Yeah, he shouldn't be asking this but he needed to know this. After all, no one can go around abusing his Mahiya and remain totally unscathed.

"Nani-dadi sb yaad dila diya," Virat admitted absolutely boastfully, sending dada praise me looks.

Dada couldn't help but smile slightly at his Cheeku. The guy was such a kid, his kid's kid.

Making Cheeku grin almost like a cheshire cat in return as he went in total details about the whole event.

How some morons had first dared to try hurt his Kuliya, Subhi and Rishu and then started abusing Mahi bhai, of course, Mahi bhai wasn't present there. But, how could they really hear anything against Mahi bhai. Harry couldn't hear it all and had argued back. It had soon turned aggressive Jassi, Rah and Kul were just trying to help and so, were the rest of the team. No, intimidating them really wasn't the plan.

They were really trying to stop the fight. Dada can ask the coach if he want.

They really didn't beat people to pulp.

They just pushed them trying to break the fight.

"Cheeku! Cheeku! I get it. You guys are all innocent and stuff, but media ko kaise yakeen dilaye?" Dada asked Virat, stopping his glorious boasting of his brave kids.

Virat sent Dada a look that screamed are you really asking me this?

"Isn't it simple dada, say they attacked us first, we were just defending" Virat said, in a perfect duh tone.

"And they'll believe it?" Dada asked with eyebrows almost touching his hairline.

"that's their wish, anyway they don't believe us but see this time we even have injuries backing us," Virat said pointing to his bandaged forehead.

And dada couldn't help shake his head as he asked, "Who else is injured Cheeku?"

"It's a very long list dada, See Jaddu had a bruised shoulder, Rah's elbow has been bleeding and knees got scraped to that's why we left him in the hospital, then there's Jassi and Kul with bandaged feet and Harry with bruised cheek and even  Shrey got a black eye, dada" Virat exclaimed pitifully.

This kid was insane.

"you know, you've an upcoming tour, right Cheeku?" Dada asked the kid, who was now drinking his water.

"Areey, we will go visit Jammy bhai in NCA for the rest of days na. It's not serious anyway, just showing they attacked first," Virat shrugged again like this solved everything.

He had thought over everything, after all.

"and the videos?" Dada brought up.

"Well, most shows them pushing Kul and Rishu and doing absolute fowls. So, in our favor anyway,"

"Okay, so I'll call the press conference and who else is going to act the part?" Dada asked a grinning Cheeku,Who, looked absolutely triumph about all this.

"I'll ask Rah, Shrey and all to be ready to pose" Virat grinned some more. He absolutely knew Dada will approve. He just needed to be his innocent self, after all, he was dada's little Vi too. How could dada even punish them on something like this? But still, to be certain, he asked, "So, no punishment right, dada??"

Dada just nodded his head in negative amused by how comfortable Virat was in his cabin.

"So, Jammy bhai k paas kb pahuche hum?" Virat asked, noticing dada drafting the story a little better and covering up the loopholes to make it seem ICT was really attacked and were the victims and not the villains.

"Chale jaana, jb mn krey, apna hi ghr samajh kr"

"samajhne ka kya hai voh toh hai hi na Dada," Virat retorted, pointing something to make Dada's answer seem more real.

"Accha mein yeh dekh lunga, jao un langooro ko bata do ki they're not getting punished. They can relax now," Dada said noticing Vi again rotating on the chair like a little kid, playing in his office.

"pakka help ni chahiye!" Virat still asked looking at Dada.

"No, I got this"

"Okay, You're the best Dada," Virat declared getting up and walking towards the door o the cabin then turned back and asked, "umm...did I spend enough time to make it look like I got proper lecture from you?"

"Yes, you did"

"Oh! then see you Dada!!" Virat waved merrily.

"Cheeku!" Dada's call stopped him on his tracks. He turned back to look at Dada with questioning look.

"Explain all this to your Mahi bhai yourself" Dada said.

Virat looked at dada totally horrified. He couldn't believe dada was saying this.

Mahi bhai!

Which story will he feed to his Mahi bhai?

"DADA" Virat whined, still not over the fact.

"What? Go! I'm busy!" Dada laughingly shooed away Virat.

Virat went away sulking imagining the horror the convo with Mahi bhai will be. He was so doomed.

Dada continued smiling to himself even after Virat went away. The kid was such an entertainment packet. Dada can't even remember the starting point of this whining Kohli chronicles. The kid was such a well-mannered kid in the starting days and the few times, he met them.

Then, one day all of sudden, he became dada from sir and found himself becoming a counselor to a whining captain, complaining to him about stupid rules that needed to be changed and things to do. Every now and then, Sourav spots a gist of himself in the kid with his heart on his sleeve.

The kid with aggression flowing through his veins and absolute love in his heart.

The fire child with glass heart providing warmth and comfort to everyone.

The kid was such a kid.

Their Cheeku.

Dada thought fondly going back to preparing for the upcoming press conference. He needs to act all worried and serious, after all.

But he couldn't now for all he could think right now was Jammy and his reaction, when he will get to know all this hooligans were going to knock on his door soon.

And then their was his Mahiyaa too.

His sweet Mahiya full of disbelief ranting about this incidence and his out of control little brothers.

Dada couldn't help but smile and smile.

After all, he has the best kid brothers, who gave him a lot of headaches but made him smile as much too.
