(Readers POV)

After the incident with Yang, the tournament started again. I was looking around for anyone suspicious. The next match was about to start. It was Pyrrha versus Penny. The match started and they started to fight.

(Y/N): If I was a bad guy, where would I be?

I looked around and I didn't see anyone that looked suspicious. I guess bad guys actually try to blend in. I looked at the other side of the crowd. I saw Mercury entering a door. I rubbed my eyes.

(Y/N): I thought he was sent home.

I ran to the other side and went through the door I saw him go through.

(Y/N): Hey Mercury! You in here?

I saw him walking to view. I rubbed my eyes and he was still there. Good thing I'm not seeing things.

(Y/N): You recovered quite quickly for a broken knee.

Mercury: Don't have to recover if your knee never broke.

He smiled at me. I got in a battle position.

Mercury: Where is the blonde bimbo? Is she still in her dorm crying her eyes out?

I looked down slightly.

(Y/N): I wouldn't worry about her, because I'm going to put you in the same situation.

Mercury: I would like to see you try.

I dashed forward. I punched and he jumped up to dodge. He kicked me at the back of my head. I fell forward, but I caught myself. I did a backflip to get some distance. I turned my gauntlets into shields. Mercury rushed over at me. He started to do that spinning bullets trick again.

(Y/N): Nice try.

I said under my breath. He kicked me into the floor. The bullets came crashing down at me. I put up one of my shields. All the bullets stopped and I got up.

Mercury: What?!

I launched all the bullets at him. They made direct contact. A bunch of smoke came from the attack. The smoke cleared and Mercury was still standing. Parts of his pants were torn and broken.

(Y/N): Robot legs? That's how you are able to still walk.

Mercury: These things are amazing.

(Y/N): I bet your family would be impressed.

Mercury's attitude changed immediately after I mentioned his family.

Mercury: Don't you dare talk about them.

I guess his family is a sensitive topic for him.

(Y/N): Whats the problem? Everyone loves their families.

Let's see how mad I can get him. I want him to suffer a little.

Mercury: My family were horrible people to me!

(Y/N): That doesn't sound right. Families should love one another. Especially the parents.

Mercury: You shut your mouth!

I'm getting to him. Now for the straw that will break the camel's back.

(Y/N): Was it your mom? Or your dad?

He snapped when I mentioned his father. He ran towards me in a blind rage. He tried to attack me, but I dodged by moving to the left slightly. I grabbed the back of his head and slammed him into the hard floor.

(Y/N): That was for Yang.

I slammed him in the ground again. His aura broke. I let go and started to walk away. I heard that he started laughing.

(Y/N): Whats so funny?

Mercury: Our plan, is already done.

I was confused. I quickly ran outside. Everyone was shocked. I looked at the arena and saw Penny in pieces. Wires were shown coming out her body. She was a robot all this time? I looked around and saw Emerald starting to walk away. The giant screen turned red with a black chess piece in the middle.

(Y/N): The hell is going on?

I heard a woman's voice. I decided to ignore her and went after Emerald. She went through a door and I followed her. I didn't see anyone on the other side of the door.

(Y/N): Where did she go?

I looked around and everything seemed to be normal.

Yang: Hey (Y/N).

I looked down the hall to see Yang walking towards me.

(Y/N): What are you doing here?

Yang: I heard a bunch of screams and I decided to check it out. What's going on?

(Y/N): People have been doing this. Emerald and her friends have been doing this.

Yang: Really? We have to go find them!

Yang was acting a bit strange.

(Y/N): Hey Yang.

Yang: Yes?

(Y/N): What was the last thing I did to you before I left the dorm room?

Yang: Easy, you just scoffed at what I said and left.

I immediately punched her in the gut. She grabbed it and gasped for air.

(Y/N): Nice try Emerald. I figured out your semblance. You can make people see things.

Yang faded away and Emerald was where she once was. She fell to one knee and was holding her gut and she was out of breath.

(Y/N): I'm going to give you one chance for you to explain.

Emerald: Why would I tell you anything?

I walked up to her and kicked her in the face. She fell down and looked up at me.

(Y/N): You want to try your answer again?

Emerald: This is all Cinder's plan. Ask her why she is doing this.

(Y/N): You think I'm going to walk away from the person who ruined Yang's future as a huntress?

Emerald looked at me with terror in her eyes. I kicked her in the face again, knocking her out. I picked her up and started to walk away.

(Y/N): Time to take you to Ironwood.
