Time Break – 7 Years Later

7 years had passed since I was reborn in the world of Shingeki no Kyojin. In that time I ended up strengthening myself considerably, considering the fact that I now have the body of a 7-year-old boy.

I ended up becoming a guinea pig in a Marley experiment when I was four years old, and the following year I found another Player, like me. Her name is Lia Hufner. And due to our results in the tests, physical and mental, that we have been forced to take so far, we have both been declared possible candidates for an experimental program. Which we will do today. We were now being taken to the program location.

Aaron and Lia were being taken to a location far away from the facilities they had been in for the past few years. And due to the distance, they were being taken in a carriage. Receiving some attention from the people around us, due to our armbands, which had yellow as the main color. Symbolizing that we were Warrior Candidates.

Aaron: [Lia. Are you well?]

Lia: [Yes, Aaron. Just a little nervous.]

Aaron: [I am too. But do not worry. Everything will be fine.]

He then holds her hand. They were chatting through System Chat. They used it often when they were surrounded by people, or when they were separated from each other at night. The two ended up developing feelings of love and affection for each other in the time that had passed since they met.

Time Break – 5 Minutes Later

After 5 minutes had passed, they now found themselves in a building constructed close to the city center.

The two were then taken inside by two pairs of Marleyan soldiers. When they entered the building, they were taken underground, about 5 minutes later, they found themselves in a very spacious room. It can accommodate around 100 people, and there would still be space left.

They were then taken to the center of the room, where they met two scientists, who were in front of two 1.80mX1m glass cylinders. They were capsules.

Scientist 1: You will have the honor of becoming the first of an entirely new generation of Warriors.

Aaron: [Looks like we'll get Titan powers then.]

Lia: [I hope it doesn't hurt too much.]

Scientist 2: Please. We ask that each one enter one of the capsules so that we can begin the process.

The two then separate, have their clothes taken off, and each go to a capsule. They then have an oxygen mask placed on their face and some electrodes on their body to monitor their vital signs. The capsules then close, and soon begin to be filled with a liquid, similar to water. And when both were completely filled with the liquid, with the two floating inside, a kind of parasite appeared inside the liquid of each capsule, and then both began to attach themselves to the spinal column of both Players, causing them excruciating pain. Which made them scream in pain and agony. This painful process only lasted 5 seconds, but for both of them, the pain seemed to have no end. When the two parasites had completely fused to the spinal column of both, they were removed from the capsules and examined by two doctors who were called to find out if they were in stable health after the procedure. And after that they got their clothes back.

Aaron: [Are you okay, Lia?]

He asked his companion worriedly.

Lia: [I am. I'm just fed up with these experiments.]

Aaron: [I'm sick of it too. But we need to hold on just a little longer.]

Lia: [I don't know how much longer I can hold out.]

Time Break – Days Later

After both were examined, the procedure was considered by scientists to be a success. After that they were taken to an open field, so that they could both transform without causing any problems.

After being at a safe distance, the two then bite the hand hard, making them bleed and thus triggering the transformation.

Thus their Titan Forms are revealed to everyone.

Scientist 1: Impressive. Two of 17 meters.

He said, writing down a few things on a notepad. While the two Titans looked at their bodies, as if they were analyzing them.

Scientist 2: And it looks like they're already controlling their Titan Forms pretty well.

He comments, taking his own notes. It was then that General Calvi spoke.

Calvi: Truly impressive. But we need to test its effectiveness during combat.

He said, making the other soldiers present agree. Soon turning his gaze to two specific men, with both waving and moving away from the others. Not long after, two yellow rays fall from the sky.

And from them emerged two Titans. They are: The Armored Titan and the Jaw Titan.

The two more experienced Titans soon advance against the new Warriors. But instead of having the advantage, as everyone expected, they ended up taking a beating like never before. Leaving everyone surprised and impressed. As well as a little nervous and worried. Because they still didn't know what the capabilities of these new Warriors were, or their limitations. But they had plenty of time to find out. Or at least, that's what they thought...
