They had spent three days listening Shika trying to tell them what her ideas were.

Most of them would probably get them killed.

Splitting up? Seriously? That would mean that one group would die, and then the rest would die when the enemy found out that not all of them had been killed.

Mizuki loved Shika, really she did, like a little sister. But the girl also wanted to do dangerous stuff, and she was just too small and young to do so.

Speaking of Shika, she was trying to tell Ayame and Keisuke something.

"Shika! Stop torturing them!" Ryū yelled.

"She's not really torturing us like he does," Ayame muttered under her breath.

"Easy, Ryū," Touma said. "This is no time for arguments. Shika has every right to tell us her ideas, even though they are pretty silly."

"Silly? My ideas are not silly!" Shika said, indignantly. "They're very smart and possibly a good idea if we tried it."

"Maybe," Ayame said. "Except for the we jump into a pit of lava part."

"Okay, that was a joke." Shika replied, grinning.

"Maybe we should take a break, and think about how we should continue." Raiden suggested.

"Good idea," Mizuki said. "We can't walk there without any breaks, no matter what you think, Ryū."

Ryu's face turned red.

"Hey, Raiden, can I talk to you?" Mizuki asked. "In private, I mean."

Raiden nodded. "In a bit," he said. "Not now."

Mizuki nodded and helped her friends set up camp.
