"Do you miss the Spirit Wolves Territory?" Raiden asked.

"Kind of," Mizuki admitted. "Although it is for the best that we left."

"Well, when this is over, we can come visit them any time we want." Raiden promised.

"Hmmm, okay, what about our parents?" Mizuki asked. "We can't just say 'hey mom and dad! Going to go see the Spirit Wolves! I'll be back in a week!' That won't work."

"I know," Raiden said. "We kill them!"

Mizuki blinked. "WHAT?" She shouted after a few moments of silence.

"Just kidding!" Raiden said. "I'm not the murderer type."

"That's good to know," Mizuki said, smiling.

"Yeah, when I was younger and lived in my old hometown, sometimes I snuck out at night," Raiden told her. He laughed. "Sorry, I wasn't the obedient type back then."

"If you could, would you have stayed in your old home?" Mizuki asked. "I mean after everything that's happened so far? All this crazy adventures, near death experiences, betrayal, a bunch of other normal happy things?"

"No," Raiden replied. "Maybe a few weeks ago I would of done anything to have moved back to my former hometown, but now I wouldn't give anything to go back there." He looked at her shyly. "Because I have you."

He leaned over and kissed her on the cheek.

Mizuki was too stunned to react. He kissed her! She was very happy, and surprised, and happy, and she couldn't even think now.

Maybe words weren't needed at this moment.

The two both hugged each other as they watched the sunset.
