It's crazy how everything unfolded so fast. Just yesterday, she was a child dreaming of breaking free from an ordinary life. And now, she's living her best life, doing her own thing. None of this was planned. Her family didn't approve of her choices, but ultimately, it's her life and she's in control. Her family couldn't be more different from her. They prioritize reputation over everything — such a snooze fest. Honestly, everything about her family just bores her to death.

With a poker face, the striking, black-haired Swan looked at her mother. Her mother was engrossed in a conversation with her baby twin sister, who was on the verge of crying. "Ugh, seriously? Let's get a move on, guys. We don't have all day."

As both her mother and sister shot her disapproving looks, Regina simply rolled her eyes, munching on her sweet watermelon gum. With a heavy sigh, she made her way towards the car where her step-father, Phil, was waiting. After waiting impatiently for almost five minutes, Regina's frustration reached its peak. She huffed, rolled down the window, shot a glare at her sister, and yelled out in exasperation.

"Jeez, We're not going on a mission to space. Mom, we'll be perfectly fine. Dad's not going torture us. Let's go already!"

Bella Swan let out a sigh and rolled her brown eyes, but then she quickly hugged her mother. She took one last look at the house before her moment was interrupted by the blaring of a car horn. Irritated, she shot a glare at her older twin sister. Despite loving her, there were times when her sister could be a real pain in the ass.

Regina and Bella were fraternal twins, and one could easily see that they looked nothing alike. Their external appearance and personalities were worlds apart. Isabella, or Bella, Swan could be described as exceptionally clumsy, introverted, quiet, and insecure, but she had a kind and gentle heart.

As hours went by, the two teenagers embarked on a journey from their hometown to their childhood town, Forks, Washington, to reunite with their long-unseen father, Charlie Swan. Regina Swan's relationship with her father could be described as somewhat acceptable. While she loves and respects him, she acknowledges that he is not particularly thrilled with her choices. Nevertheless, he tends to be more understanding than the rest of the family. Unlike Bella's relationship with her father. It's an interesting one. It can even be characterized as odd, filled with moments of awkwardness.

With a gaze locked on the road, Regina couldn't help but smile as she noticed that things hadn't changed much since the last time she was in Forks. "It's like the trees haven't even moved. Unbelievable," she exclaimed, marveling at the familiar surroundings.

Charlie, her father, gazed at his daughter with a goofy smile and responded, "Yep, that's Forks for you. A place where it the town where things freeze in their places."

"Yeah, that's my town," Regina whispered, looking nostalgically out the window. Suddenly, her eyebrows raised in surprise as she spotted a familiar face. "Wait, is that Mike Newton?" she exclaimed, recognizing her long-time friend from Forks.

Bella looked at her wide-eyed sister and nodded in confirmation. "Yeah, he's been living here for as long as I can remember. You know, one of the few familiar faces around," she added.

"To be honest, I don't know but I thought he died — I guess I was wrong."

Bella's eyes widened even more in surprise. "Wait, you thought he died? Why would you think that?" she asked, unable to hide her confusion.

Regina shrugged.

Bella's eye blinked open when the older swan yawn. She glanced at the alarm clock beside her and she gasped. "Why are you up too early, Regina?" She groaned and buried her head into the pillow. Regina turned to look at her shuteye sister, who was pretty sure in a deep sleep and slammed her with the pillow making Bella jump with frightened.

Bella's eyes landed on Regina and began to complain. "What the hell were you thinking? Are you insane? You almost gave me a heart attack." she huffed and looked at the clock. Bella widens her eyes. "It's early. Way too early. Are you out of your mind?"

"Oh, dear Bella." Regina stood up and hold Bella pale and cold hands, she eye contact with her. "You complain a lot, literally like mom, but that's not our problem, our problem is that today is the first day of school and none of us want to go to school with our faces so sleepy. So how about you be a good girl and follow my instructions, so you can be an outstanding new girl?"

Regina smirked and waited for her sister. Bella realized how stubborn her sister is. She huffed and stood up to start her day. Minutes happened and the two sisters are two from washing to eating. Less than an hour after waking up, their father, the Chief of Police, Charlie Swan woke up. He greeted them in the kitchen as Bella made them Breakfast.

When Bella looked at the Clock, she looked at her sister "We need to go."

Regina groaned. "I hate school." She rolled her eyes when She saw in the corner of her eyes, her Father glares at her semi-playfully. "Love you, daddy."

"Love you too. Be careful girls. And have fun. Behave." She said the last word directly to Regina, who smirked.

"Can't make any truthful promises dad."

Regina and Bella walked to the car that Charlie gave it to Bella as her Homecoming present, but to Regina, she despises surprise and present as if they were poison. She preferred to buy her own things. Her family knew that, so no gifts for her.

Bella stared at Regina when she noticed that she's staring at her. "What?" She nervously laughed.

"You're nervous, aren't you?" She raised a question at Bella. Regina knows how it feels. Moving to a new school.

"Of course, I'm nervous. I am moving to a new school at midterm."

"We are." Regina corrected her. "You're not alone. I am with you. You know what this means, Right?"

"Bad grades. Good company. Poor reputation. Horrible treatment. And last but not least, an expel." Bella answered her question.

"You're right!" She chuckled as Bella started driving the car. Regina looked at her baby sister who was focused on the road and smiled softly. She loves her no matter what the difference between them. She will always protect her. Not only because she's her sister, but also cause she's Bella, her baby Bella.

The road to school was short. It didn't take more than ten minutes. The Swan infamous twin looked at the school and sigh in unison. Regina eyes focused on Bella's, she grinned and claps her hands.

"Let's show them who we truly are." She smirked as Bella gulped. This is going to be a long day.

As both sisters arrived at school, they took a few moments to chat about random things while waiting in the car. After that, they stepped out, faced the school, and began walking towards it.

The boy, with a casual tone, sarcastically remarked "Nice ride," causing his crew to laugh.

Bella, feeling embarrassed, looked down and sheepishly smiled in response to his comment. Before she could reply, Regina gave him a hard glare.

"Nice face, bitch." With a fake sweet smile, she tightly held her sister's hands and started walking towards the entrance of the school, all while everyone's eyes followed them.

"Why is everyone staring?" Bella asked, avoiding eye contact and looking at the ground. In contrast, Regina was clearly smirking and winking at anyone who happened to lock eyes with her.

"I mean, seriously, Bella!" she exclaimed, rolling her eyes at what she considered to be a silly question. "I'm just too hot not to be stared at."

"I don't blame them," Bella whispered, although Regina was surely able to hear her.

Once they entered the school, the amount of stares they received from people calmed down a bit, which was a relief for Bella. After they obtained their schedules, Bella Swan began reading her sister's schedule. She didn't want to strain her eyes or her brain, or maybe she was just feeling lazy, incredibly lazy.

"You're the new girl, Regina, and Isabella Swan. Hi, I'm Eric. The eyes and ears of this place... umm, anything you need, your guy, lunch date, shoulder to cry on?"

Feeling uncomfortable, Bella shifted her position as a guy scanned her from head to toe. She gave Regina a look that spoke volumes on her behalf.

"Eric, what a sweet guy you are. You can call me Regina and about my sister, just Bella, Not Isabella or I'll kick your ass."

"She's right." Bella smiled gratefully at her. "And I'm more of a 'suffer in silence."

"Good headline for the feature. You're news baby. Frontpage." Eric said excitedly.

Bella and Regina shared a quick look. "No, we're not."

"Yes I am." Regina smiled at him. Bella gave her a look. Eric clapped his hands. "Just me not Bella. I'm excited."

Eric asked her, with a playful smile, "You love all the attention, don't you?"

"Oh, sweetie, attention just seeks me out. It's like the two of us have this unbreakable connection," Regina said dreamily. Eric and Bella exchanged weird looks in response.

Bella elbowed her to get her out of her dream. "That's my sister."

"I like her."

"I like you too Eric, you're my new best friend." She held his hand and moved forwards leaving her sister behind who huffed and follows them.

P.E. Their first period. Regina loved playing spots. She thinks it's one of the things that calms her down. Now, they are playing volleyball when accidently Bella hit the boy next to her in the head with the ball.

"I'm sorry. I told them to not let me play." Bella approached him with a sorry look on her face.

The boy looked at her and Regina. His eyes widen. "Oh, no, no, don't bother. It's nevermind. You're Isabella and Regina, right?"

"Oh my God, Mike Newton!" Regina exclaimed, her mouth and eyes wide open. "It's been a while since I saw you."

"Wait! You're Regina. The Regina. My best friend. My very first best friend," Mike exclaimed, and hugged Regina tightly.

Mike and Regina were childhood friends, and they were each other's only friends. They had a reputation for being the kind of people that everyone wanted to be friends with, primarily because they were simply badass. They did everything together and had an unbreakable bond. However, their friendship took a hit when Regina's parents got divorced, and she had to move to another country.

"Where have you been? To be honest, I thought you had disappeared off the face of the Earth," Regina questioned him curiously. Bella, sensing that she was the third wheel, decided to walk off, leaving the two best buddies alone to catch up.

Mike shook his head, with a smile he said. "Things happened. So, would you like to sit with us at lunch? I'm gonna introduce you to my friends."

"Sure, why not?" Regina replied to his question, a wide smile spreading across her face. She felt a surge of happiness within her. She was glad that she wasn't alone anymore. Even though her sister was with her, having her old best friend back made her feel alive, so damn alive. And in that moment, she was truly happy about it.
