Aisha POV

Friday was here at last. The yearly exams are very soon now. There was a lot of pressure. Especially now that we are in the last year of high school.

We have to decide what universities we go to. But today is Friday and I have the weekend to worry abou that.

"Aisha," Pari called out.

I glanced in Pari's direction. I saw her, Rhea and Ishita waving at me. I went over to them.

"Hey, so what's today's plans?" I asked.

"I am going out with Abhi," Pari responded.

"And I am going with Raj," Ishita continued.

"And I am going with Jai," Rhea added.

"You could have said directly you know," I stated.

"We know. Seems like you and Rohan are spending some time alone," Ishita smiled.

"Yup because you are ditching me," I fake cried.

"Shut up Aishu," Rhea said and rolled her eyes. "Maybe you will figure out your feelings."

"What feelings?" I asked, puzzled.

"You will see Aisha darling," Pari winked.

"Ok but I have no idea," I said blankly. "See you later."

I walked towards Shero and Batuk. They both were engaged in their own conversation.

"Can I join?" I asked them.

"Hey Aisha," they chimed together.

"Hey, what are you talking about?" I asked.

"Careers, Rohan is hoping to apply for a music course," Jai said.

"Oh yes," I said, sounding bored.

"What happened?" They both asked.

"Nothing, I am just tired from talking about all these exams," I complained.

I was. Everyday of these weeks, my parents, friends and teachers have been talking about our exams. I just need one night's break from all this stress. I know it's a very important thing but I need to rest.

"I see," Rohan nodded.

"Aisha," Adi smiled at me.

"Adi," I smiled back.

"Are you free tonight?" He asked.

"Oh no, sorry," I replied.

"No problem, let's hang out tomorrow than," he asked.

"Sure," I agreed.

"Bye," he said and I went to my car.

"Do you like him?" Rhea asked, coming out of nowhere.

"Where did you come from?" I asked.

"That's not the point, do you like him?" She asked again.

"No, I don't." I replied. "He is a really good friend, that's all."

"Let's go home," Rhea said.

"And then I want to sleep," Aisha said happily.

"Sure," Rhea smiled.

"Rhee," I said.

"Yes Aishu," Rhea said.

"How is Jai like?" I asked. "Like is he romantic or what?"

Rhea POV

I stared at her with disbelief. I stopped driving the car.

"Aisha," I exclaimed. "What is the need for this question, may I ask?"

"I am just curious," she replied. "Take a chill pill Rhee."

"If you want to know, then date him," I said and rolled my eyes. Sometimes it's hard to believe that she is an eighteen year old.

"You won't let me," Aisha giggled.

"Yes I won't, " I agreed. "But you wouldn't want to as well."

"True," Aisha said.

"Let me guess, the exams are driving you insane," I said.

"You know me too well," Aisha sighed. "Yes, they are killing me."

"Ok Aishu, listen up," I instructed. "You will do great in the yearly exams. You have always done well in studies"

"You always know the right thing to say," Aisha smiled at me.

"Yes I do," I agreed. I started to drive again and we reached the mansion.

As soon I parked the car, Aisha hopped out of the car and walked inside.

"How was your day girls?" Ma asked.

"Tiring, I am going to sleep now," Aisha whined and went upstairs while I giggled.

"Don't worry about her Ma, she is tired," I said, trying not to laugh.

"I know," Ma agreed. "She is always grumpy when exams occur."

Aisha POV

I want to give up. I want to sleep. I jumped onto my bed, pulled the cover and slowly drifted off to sleep.

"How's it going with Jai?" I heard someone speak.

"Just fabulous Bhabhi," another voice said.

I pushed the cover and got up from the bed. I noticed Rhee and Bhabhi talking.

"Finally you are up," Bhabhi exclaimed.

"Finally?" I asked. "What do you mean by finally?"

"It's 6:45, and Rohan will be here any minute," Rhea replied.

"What he's picking me up in fifteen minutes," I exclaimed.

"Yeah he is," Bhabhi nodded.

"I have to get ready," I muttered.

"Aisha," Rhea called out.

"What," I grunted.

"Your hair is a mess," Bhabhi informed me.

"How pleasant," I said sarcastically while Bhabhi and Rhea giggled.

"I have to go now," Rhea said. "See you later."

With that Rhea exited the room with Bhabhi.

Rohan POV

"Namastay Meera Ma," I greeted her.

"Rohan where did you get these manners?" Meera Ma said and hugged me.

"Are you saying that I don't have manners," I said, pretending to be shocked.

"Yes Dramebaaz," Meera Ma laughed.

"Rohan," an angelic voice called out.

"Hello Ms Chirkut," I said, and she giggled. I hugged her.

"Have fun kids," Meera Ma said.

"So what's the plan for today?" Aisha asked.

"It's a surprise," I smiled at her.

We both walked to my car and got in.

"Are we going somewhere?" Aisha asked.

"Yes we are," I said. "Will you be quiet and wait for the surprise?"

"Nope," Aisha said and smiled.

I started driving. I was taking her to a place which was special to me. I know that she would love it.

"Turn the radio up," Aisha commanded. "I love this song."

"Wow, this is beautiful," Aisha murmured, looking at the sea.

"This isn't it," I said and grabbed her hand and pulled her along.

I walked towards the very end of the path until there were stairs and both of us walked upstairs. She looked, in awe, at the view of the water at night.

"This is so beautiful," she said with her eyes shining.

"I knew you would like it," I smiled. "That's why I got you here. This is my secret spot, but now it's ours. I always come here when I feel upset."

"Wow," she said. She hadn't taken her eyes off the view but my eyes never left her. She smiled at me and looked back at the view. She kept on stealing glances at me.

"Why do you keep doing that? I know I am handsome." I chuckled.

"I am not," she protested.

"I don't mind you staring at me," I said softly.

Aisha POV

He smiled and wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer. I blushed and I felt a tickle on my lips.

My heart skipped a beat. I never felt this way around him.

It's hard to believe that time flies so fast.

"What are you thinking about?" He asked.

"About time," I replied. "It feels like yesterday you left me."

"I will never leave you again. That's my promise to you," He said and I smiled.

"Let's go," Rohan said. "Or else the others will send a search party."

I reluctantly got up. I would rather spend time here.

We went to Rohan's convertible and drove home.

"I had a great time," I said.

"Same," he agreed.

As I was about to open the door, I felt Rohan's hand on mine. I stared at him.

I instantly got lost in his brown orbs. I never realised that he had beautiful eyes, the ones you could get lost in. He brushed a strand of my hair.He moved closer to me. Without realising what we were doing, I felt our lips meet.
