Avni's pov

I came inside my room, locked the door gently..I threw my pH on the bed and removed my glasses left it on the mattress.

I walked to the washroom, shutting the door..I pressed my head on the backside of the door, exhaled heavily...I stood still for few seconds recalling those moments..
I straighten my body stepped towards the shower passing by the mirror on my right avoiding my reflection..
Stripping out my each clothes slowly one by one I kept them on a rack behind then moved at the edge of the floor where the shower stick have been..I turned on the shower knobe..stopped my movement stood still under the flowing streams..
Water washing away my tears..

I covered my face with both my palms..sobbed hard, my body movement matching up by my hiccups..

The resonance of my sobbing and the flowing water made an inexplicable ambience in this four walled glass-cover inside the washroom..

Flashback

"Avni Roy come here!!" Physics teacher Mr.Rao called out the students' name one by one checking the half Yearly Physics exams answer sheets..

"Avni Roy!!" Mr.Rao called one more time..then he raised his eyes from the answer sheets..

He furrowed his brows looked at Avni..

Aman was checking his answer sheet sitting on the second bench in boys row..he tilted his gaze when Sir called Avni twice..he creased his eyebrows staring at Avni.. he has never saw Avni being inattentive in the class or anything related to studies infact she is one of the best students in their section 9A..(Aman and Avni were classmates just as Neil and Aravi)

They saw Avni sitting her head bent down on the desk..

"Avni I'm talking to you, r you listening!!!"
Sir again asked aloud this time irritably..

Most of the students have left their seats stood up peeping curiously to find out the scene..

Aman saw Sir motioned the next girl to get her up..

The girl shook Avni softly placing her hand on her arm but Avni didn't respond, she called her name shook again discreetly. In response Avni just leisurely fell on her lap that made everyone shocked in the class. that girl noticed some blood clots on the floor her eyes widened being scared..she patted on her cheeks calling Avni to open her eyes but Avni didn't move a single bit.. observing her keenly the girl shrieked calling Sir..
Mr.Rao kept the answer sheets aside hastened his steps towards the girls row...
he came close to the desk where Avni was..he leaned slightly saw her school uniform is all drenched in blood all over her lower backside..
he immediately said.." Please someone go and call your class teacher and her sister Aravi"

Aman immediately got out of his desk and ran outside of the class to call their class teacher Miss.Chadda..

In less than few minutes Class 9A class teacher Miss.Chadda rushed inside the class walked towards the girls row saw Avni lying in a sitting position on one of her classmate's lap..she caressed her head called Avni but she stayed still.. instantly Miss.Chadda dialled the Principal Sir's number..

Within few minutes of interval an ambulance arrived through the school gate.
Ward boys and a nurse almost ran inside the class along with Principal Sir behind. They laid fainted Avni on a stretcher then rushed her to the best hospital nearby.

Reyaansh, Prakash, Sweta, Bebe, Neil all gathered outside the emergency ward,only Reyaansh was allowed to go inside the emergency room as he is a doctor..

They saw the lady Doc the HOD of gyno department rushed to the emergency ward.

The restlessness,anxiety, nervousness is building to its edge all together in their minds, they were just hoping that nothing terrible would happen to their daughter..
Prakash is walking to and fro..Neil seems in a state of shock to see Avni in such a grievous condition..
Bebe and Sweta sitting beside Neela..

Within half an hour Reyaansh came outside..
They all straighten staring at Reyaansh..eagerly waiting for him to speak out something apparent..
Reyaansh ranked his fingers on his hair nervously..

"Avni got back her senses..she had a huge blood loss during her period since last few days even she is still bleeding so because of the extreme blood loss she had lost her sense.." Reyaansh said palming his face nervously..

"Yes!!"Neelama responded remembering the last night convo with her daughter..

"Yesterday night when I went to their room to call Avni for dinner..Avni told me that she is feeling very weak, her flow is getting rapid since last two months..so I told her to take rest and drop the school next day but she told she has two class test and half yearly answer sheets will be given so she had to attain the school.." Neela informed being nervous..

"WdH Why didn't you inform me all these things before!! you have a doctor in your house god damn, how could you be so careless!!!!" Reyaansh spatted being disappointed at his wife..

"I thought it's a normal period cramps.. so.." Neela mumbled looking down in between her silent sob..

Prakash held his shoulder to calm down him from getting annoyed..
"Calm down Reyaansh it's not her fault..she is her mother..ab bol doctor ne kya kaha.."

"Haan puttar Neelako dosh math de maa hai woh..bahut pyaar Karti hai Avni ko..humbhi sab darey huye hai Avni Ko lekar.."Bebe simpathised Reyaansh..Sweta hugged Neela...

Reyaansh nodded looked at Neela apologetically..

"They said they would examine and will keep her under proper observation to know her exact internal medical status" Reyaansh responded..

Around half an hour later the emergency door opened..

Doctor came outside..

"HOD gyne- she has a huge blood loss as well as she had acute lower abdomen pain so she fell senseless.. we diagnosed her, whereas few more tests still needed to figure out her exact internal status specifically...
As per as ultra sound primary examination has been done it showed she has multiple polycyst ovarian syndrome.." The doctor said in a calmed tone..

"How is she now, doctor!!" Bebe asked anxiously..

"Her flow hasn't stopped yet, we gave her medicine.. she is too weak she was suffering from an extreme lower abdominal pain so we had to injected her the painkiller she is sleeping now" The Doc walked passed them..

A junior doc came outside..

" Your patient Avni, she is sleeping now..
A single person can go and meet her but please not more than one..she shouldn't get disturbed, she needs complete rest.. please co-operate.." the junior doctor went inside..

Flashback ends

I sniffed, my breathing has become hepty..I turn off the shower knob, dried up my body and covered myself with a towel.. I stepped outside the washroom..

Then took my clothes from the cupboard wore it, blow dried my hair.. suddenly I felt thirsty, my throat got dry so I took the water bottle from the bedside table gulped down the half liquid, put it back in it's place.. went close to my bed and thudded my back on the mattress..
I closed my eyes, dozed off..

Around 9:30 at night..

I tilted my head from the pillow I was sleeping... heard some voices coming from downstairs, I guess..
I took my glasses from the beside table adjusted it on my eyes,saw the time it's 9:30pm.. I left my bed with a jolt "OMG how could u sleep so long Avni" I cursed myself.. I stepped down from the bed settled my clothes,using both my hands I brushed the messy hair while rushing to the door.. I halted a bit before I unlocked it I moved back to my bed, took my phone and went outside closing the door behind..

Ascending down the stairs I saw every one their including khannas..all freshen up into much comfortable clothes than last they had been..

My heart leaped feeling his presence..Neil seems took his shower just few minutes before he has shown up here he is looking damn hot in his wet hair look complemented by his black shirt and Blue jeans..
I bite my lips diverting the mind to somewhere else..

Sweta Mom looked up at me..
"Arey ye dekho Avni a gayi.."

"We were just about to call you Avi parr tu khud a gayi.."Bebe smiled looking at me..

I saw through my peripheral eyes that Neil was constantly gazing at me..

Gawwwwwd save me how would I avoid him if he would be this much cute..I sighed heavily..
"U can't loose Avni for sake of your love, for your Neil you have to overcome this typical phase..keep distance from him Avii.."my inner devastated mind shouted..

"Okay chalo ab sab apne apne gaaddi mein baith jao Basus are waiting for us..chalo chalo" Sweta motioned all of them to be hurry up..

They all came outside to the garage whereas Khannas have already brought their car inside our compound..

I saw Dadda heading towards our car I quickly ran pass by Neil..I opened the car door and sat beside the driver seat then Dada joined just a bit second after me on driver side..

"Hey Avni leave Dadda and Mamma we youngsters are going together in Neil's car come join us" Didu called me..I turned my head saw from the car window Didu standing beside Neil..Neil leaned against his car his arms crossed on his chest.. they both staring at me waiting for my reply..

I jestured didu through my eyes that I'm okay riding with Mamma and Dadda and they should carry on without me..

Didu sighed walked hurriedly straight towards me opened the car door of my side held my hand dragged me outside closed the door noisily..

"Avni within just two days I'm leaving you people!! Is that too much to ask to spend some more time with all together.." Didu stared at me dolefully..

I stared back at Didu I instantly hugged her..

I silently broke the hug walked passed Didu stepped towards the car avoiding Neil's tranquil gaze on me.. I went to the opposite side of the car opened the back seat door got inside settled myself next to Juhi..

Aman sat next to Juhi on her left and me on her right..Juhi sat in the middle between me and Aman..

"Hey Avi I thought you will sit beside bhae" Aman snapped his head a bit forward to see me..

"I'm comfortable much here in the back seat" I leaned on my sit scroll my IG feeds blankly..

Neil came towards the driver side opened the door sat on his seat,I rose my eyes saw him glancing at me through the front mirror..our eyes collided, I immediately shifted my eyes back on my phone..

Didu came inside the car sat on the passenger seat parallel to Neil..

Buckling her seatbelt Didu asked..
"Bonu you supposed to sit beside Neil right!! as always"..

"Avni said she'll be more comfortable with us" Aman raised his voice a bit replied playfully..

I felt irritated to answer the same question again, especially in front of Neil this time, but Aman replied before me..I sighed in relief still being pretended to be busy with my pH..

Neil buckled his seatbelt silently and started the car engine..

This is a silence before the violent storm, I know and I'm prepared for this..
I shifted my eyes outside the window..
The night is on the way to be darker..
