"R-Raphie..?" Little Mikey whispers as he tiptoed to his older brother's bed.

Raph groaned and turned to him, glaring with his sleepy eyes.

"The shell you want, Mikey? It's like..." He glanced at the clock, "3:24 AM.."

"I..I had a..n-nightmare..." Mikey's voice trembled as he hugged his teddy bear tightly.

Raph smiled at him, "It's ok. It wasn't real. Come lie down with me.."

Mikey smiled and jumped on the bed and lay down next to his red banded brother.

"Wanna talk about it?" Raph asked as worry flashes in his eyes.

"I..dreamt...that you...um..." Mikey trailed off as he looked away.

"What? What happened ta me?" Raph asked as he raised an invisible eyebrow. 

"I dreamt you didn't wake up." Mikey answers as tears fell down his cheeks as he turn around to look at Raph.

"Mike..that'll never happen." Raph moved closer to Mikey. "Lay on my chest."

Mikey obeyed and lay down and almost jumped when he heard a thud.

Raph noticed Mikey flinch and chuckles, "Its just my heartbeat."

"Oh yeah...heheh..." Mikey laughs nervously.

"As long it's still beating, I'll never leave you." Raph wraps his arms around Mikey.

"I love ya Raphie..." Mikey said as his eyes closed and hugs back.

"Love ya too bro.." Raph smiles.

As his eyes were about to close, "Psst..! Raph..!"

Raph opened his eyes sleepily, "Huh? What is it?"

"Can...c-can you sing?" Mikey asked as he looked at him with an innocent look.

Raph fought the urge to facepalm in annoyance.

"Ugh..Mikey..you know I haven't sang since--"

He was interrupted by Mikey's whimpering which made him sigh.

"Alright then." Raph nodded.

"Yey..!" Mikey whispers.

"P-please don't die. Please! Don't...don't leave m-me all-all alone here...!" Streams of hot tears flowed down Mikey's cheeks as continued to beg his brother not to die.

Mikey's fingers dug painfully into his wound, but Raph did his best to stifle a grunt of pain.

He knew that Mikey didn't mean to hurt him, nor was he aware that Raph was seriously hurt in that particular area, and he didn't want Mikey to find out and panic even more.

So instead of telling Mikey to let go, he simply rested his forehead against his little brother's and continued to softly shush him.

"It's ok..I..I-I won't leave ya.." Raph whispers as he put his hand on Mikey's cheek.

Mikey held it tightly and kept it near his cheek.

"Y-You..p-promise?" Mikey whispers back.

Raph smiles a little, "C-Can ya s-sing...for..m-me? I know you're g-good at..it..."

"Sure bro...Sure.." Mikey faintly smiles back and he wiped his tears away.

Suddenly, Raph's hand stopped holding back to Mikey's grip.

Mikey's eyes widen. He felt shocked that he dropped Raph's hand to the ground.

"Raph..? B-Bro..? Raph..please..no..." Mikey sobbed.

"You...promised..."

8 years later...

White flowers was placed near a tombstone at North Hampton under a beautiful tree.

Michelangelo lit a candle next to tombstone.

"Hey bro..It's been a while...8 years actually..." Mikey smiled at the tombstone.

"Remember I always loved ya bro...I'm not mad about the promise.." Mikey said.

"Happy Birthday to me~" Mikey sang to himself.

After the visit..

Mikey paid a visit to Raph's room and lay down on his bed.

He got bored and explored through Raph's stuff.

He saw an orange card in Raph's weapon closet.

He took it and blew off the dust that covered it.

What says on the card brought Mikey to tears of happiness and a bit of sadness.
