I had my phone, my clothes, my personal items, and all my secret things, such as, my contacts, my knife, my M16, my katana, and my book. However, concealed in my book was my laser. Once everything in my room was packed I went to the bathroom to grab other items, such as, my shampoo, my hair dye, and my scissors. I smiled because so far nothing could stand in my way. So far...I was invincible. I grabbed my suitcase and went downstairs. Looking around once more before I left the house. Out the door and to the sidewalk. Until I fell backwards. I groaned and held my elbow since I fell on it. I heard a small laugh and looked up at the person who bumped into me. 'D'live!' I thought when I saw him. I could never forget those icy blue eyes...wait...they seem to be a bit icier than usual. I shook it off and looked at his black hair, which had a blue streak in it. I frowned. Earlier today he was wearing a blue shirt and red pants but now he was wearing all black.

"Tabitha...have you seen my sister?" he asked.

"No...why?"

"Well, Marlene didn't come home and I thought she might be at your place." he paused, "What's up with your eyes?"

My eyes widened at the realization that I forgot to put my contacts back in. I silently cursed myself for forgetting and turned back to him.

"I have pink eye." I said softly.

"Then wouldn't your eye be pink instead of both eyes being red?" he pointed out.

"No!" I snapped at him as I stood up.

"Why are you in such a rush? What's with that gray strand of hair?"

"Nothing! Now leave me alone!"

"Why do you have a suitcase? Are you leaving? Where are you going?"

"No where! Sheesh D'live! Why are you so curious?"

"No reason. I just want to know where you're going. You realize I like you right?"

"Yeah sure...and the cow jumped over the moon. Don't tell me. Pigs fly too?"

"I mean it Tabitha. I really like you."

"You can't like someone like me." I said as I walked away.
