His name is Jeon Wonwoo...

I'm a brand new student who just moved from New York, and now I'm attending SOPA, in the same class as Wonwoo, a Pledis trainee.

As first, I didn't know much about Pledis Entertainment, I only knew about the big 3 companies in Korea, besides SM, YG, JYP, I didn't know much about other smaller companies. But because of Wonwoo, now I get to know Pledis.

I heard that his company's dorm is located in Gangnam, sounds very expensive to me. But I also heard that he wasn't born in Seoul, but he's still attending one of the biggest art high schools in Korea, SOPA and is currently a trainee.

I think he's really handsome.

During the first few days in Korea, I didn't notice that he existed in our class. I mean he's usually sitting in the back and holding a novel in one hand, the other hand is holding a hamburger. I barely see him studying, but still he manages to survive all the math and science exams. So I think he's pretty smart, too.

But I think he never noticed me, but I'm okay with that. I'm the maknae in class, and people usually would ask who's the maknae, but Wonwoo. He seems interested in his own life, world rather than other people's life, and I like that. He has that similar vibe to me, except that I am more social and open to people, meanwhile he's more on the introvert side.

But I'm introvert, too.

Anyway, I don't really mind if he cares about me or not, I mean I can't just force someone to care about my existence, right? That would be ridiculous! So I just watch him, from distance, during class time, during breaks, and I like doing that.

Despite being a maknae, I'm still sitting in the back, mainly because I'm really tall. I usually look back, pretend that I'm picking up a pen or pencil, that I'm talking to a friend in the back just to see him.

Wonwoo's trainee life seems... well.. tired?

He usually sleeps in class and doesn't always participate in after school activities. But he's never being late. On the other side, me, the one who is always stuck on the bus or somewhere else five or ten minutes before the bell rang. It's not easy for me to wake up in the morning. I don't really have to go to school, but because I chose this, and I wanted this, I have to finish this year in peace.

Today, Wonwoo just dyed his hair to blond, so I guess he's about to debut?!

Finally, Ms. Han, our teacher comes in and greets us.

"We have good news today!" She said as she gave us a brightest smile ever.

"We're going to do a group project. All of you will get to perform or showing your skills in this upcoming school event."

This got the class in "aww".

"How about me if I'm studying broadcast and I'm not even a trainee or singer?" A chubby boy sitting in the front, raised his hand and asked.

"Don't worry, everyone will play their own role. If you are a director, writer, performer or singer, just take your part in the group and do it well. That's why we're going to sparate you guys into small groups today."

"We're going have four groups in total, that means we will have 4-5 students in each group. We're going to choose base on category so to make sure you guys have all positions that are needed in your groups."

As she finished her sentence, Ms. Han picked up a chalkboard and wrote all the names on the board, between columns and rows, she made a table which included our names and our positions. My position is a trainee.

"Director: Suhyun, Chanhyuk, Chungah, Jin, Seungkwan.

Writer: Hana, Soomin, Mingyu.

Trainee: Wonwoo, Dino, Jun, the8, Joshua, Myungjoo, Jimin, Vernon, Hoshi."

"To be fair, I will pick memebers for you guys, I already prepared a lotto game for us."

The whole class got excited when she hold up a large bottle with our names in it.

At that moment, I thought, if only she'd pick me and Wonwoo in the same group, we might have the chance to grow closer, to become friends.

"Group 3: Seungkwan, Myungjoo, Hoshi, Jun, and... Wonwoo!"

I can't believe what I just heard. She really picked me and Wonwoo in the same group.
