"Let her come from bathing. I'll ask her all about Tapu. And maybe I should get her married before they go from best friends to more."

5 Minutes Later:

She finally dressed up in a short red floral dress paired with a green jacket and did some makeup and left her hair open making a small braid in the front.

"Sonu. Idhaar aao." Bhide exclaimed!

"Jee Baba?" She replied innocently.

"Tum kaha jaa rahi ho tayaar hoke?"

"Woh, main..."

"Woh main kya Sonu? Bolo."

"Haan, main Avneet kay saath jaa rahi hoon." She replied.

"Pakka Avneet kay sath? Mujhe kyun aisa lagta hai kay tum kisi aur kay saath milne jaa rahi ho?"

"Nahi, Baba. Pakka Avneet kay saath. "

"To theek hai. Waise mujhe tumse Tapu ke barre may baat Karna chahta hoon."

"Baba. Raat ko please. Abhi mujhe late ho raha hai."

"Theek hai. Lekin raat ko zaroor baat karin gay."

"Jee baba. Ab main jaati hoon."

"Sonu, rukoo. Nasta toh karloo." Madhavi brought a dish of breakfast in her hand from kitchen.

"Nahi, Aayi. Main nasta may karloongi. Bye Aayi. Bye baba." She waved a goodbye before leaving.

Sonu's POV:

Oh god I am so excited to see the surprise but I feel really bad for lying to Baba. But he wouldn't have allowed me if I said the name "Tapu." I am so sorry baba. This is my first time lying to him. Main ghar jhake baba say sorry keh dongi.

Upon arriving at the society gate, she noticed Tapu waiting for her with her favorite flowers, Rose,in his hand.

He recited some of lines:

If you need to yell, but do not scream,
If you need to cry, but do not cry,
If misfortune stirs your breast,
Making you feel sorry at anytime,
Then you remember at anytime,
You can always count on me.

Sonu Continues:

If the winter chill tight your breast,
Destroying and making you sad,
Do not forget that I'll be here
And I'll always be happy to warm you
Because our friendship is so precious,
Uniting us in fraternal connection
That you'll live forever
In the very bottom of my heart.

"Tapu, you still remember that poem?"

"Of course. We wrote it together. (Okay. I got that poem from Internet. Pretend in the story that they wrote themselves. I am lazy to write a poem myself 😂😂)How can I ever forget that?"

"Mind if I put these perfect roses on your perfect silky hair?"

"Of course not."

He slowly placed the rose on her head being careful that he wasn't hurting her.

"Wah. Sonu. Tum kitne pyaari lag rahi ho." He admitted.

"Nahi nahi. Tum toh hamesha pyaari lagti ho." He corrected.

"Thank you. Thank you Tapu." She slowly said.

By this time, Sonu could feel the heat growing in her cheeks. By now they must be beyond an attractive rosiness.She felt as if all her insecurities were writ large across her face and there was nowhere to hide.

Sonu suppressed a smile. Tapu could tell from her blush that she really liked him. Her usual even brown had a rosiness to it, it was cute. Super duper cute.

Sonu's POV:

A small smile played on Tapu's lips, I guess he gets that I am blushing hard right now. It was what he said though, but more of his words were like vanilla pudding, sweet in their ordinary sort of way, it was the richness of his tones - luxurious and warm.

I have been quite busy these days so this was what I could only write.
Next chapter will bring a bit more scenes of Tapu and Sonu plus Siddneet scenes.

Yep. I promise next chapter will be Siddneet for all The Siddneet fans out there.

Also as I am really busy, the update for next chapter might be late. But I will try my best to update as fast as I could.
