Jack looked at you, eyes widened. "Really?.." he said in shock. You nod, looking away. He was about to ask you something else but then the bell rang, signaling the end of school. "Finally.." you mutter. You run out of the school. "(Y/N)! Wait!" A voice called after you. Ignoring Jack, you ran, and ran. The Sun shone down on you, but you ignored it. Suddenly, you tripped and fell. "F*CK!" You yell, holding your arm. You pull up your right sleeve. Some of your cuts were bleeding. You sigh and put your sleeve back down. As of now, you were in a patch of sunlight surrounded by trees. (Pic in media) There were footsteps, but you took no notice of them. You stood up and started walking when you bumped into someone. "(Y/N)?" The voice was familiar. It was Jack.
"What.." You murmur, standing up. Jack looks at you. "Why'd you run off like that?" He asked you. You zoned off for a minute, seeing a deer. It looked.. majestic. You were brought back to reality when Jack snapped his fingers infront of you. "(Y/N)?" "Because.." you shake your head. "Don't ask." You say. Jack nods in understanding. "Okay." He looks around. "Hey (Y/N), can I ask ya somethin?" You look at him.
"Can we be friends?"
"Why would you want to be friends with me, of all people?"
"Because.. Please (Y/N)?"
You sigh. "Let me think about it.." you tell him. Although you kind of wanted to be friends with him, you thought he would ditch you for someone else on the first day. Jack nodded, smiling slightly. As you looked around, thinking, a sudden realization hit you. If you told him about your problems... would he understand? If you showed him your cuts... would he understand? You silently sighed, deciding your choice. Turning back to Jack, you noticed he was looking around as well. "Jack.. I've made my decision." You said as he turned to look at you. Your (E/C) eyes met his bright blue eyes. It seemed as if they were an endless ocean that you could get lost in forever.
"I...."
