-Jason's POV-
The sleeping was a nightmare. Literally. I fell asleep, and saw terrible creatures in front of me. It was a fire dragon, a rabid wolf, several angry dogs, a much bigger black dragon, and a man. The man had no head hair, but he had a black moostashe and beard. He wore a brown shirt, and blue jeans.
"Well Jason, this is your biggest fear. What- will you do with it? Destroy it? Walk away? Suicide leap?" Suddenly, we were hundreds of feet in the air, and nothing had moved. "Make a choice Jason. You don't have eternity." "I-" "Come on, Jason! Make your pick. It seems like you're out of time."
The man surged forward, and kicked at me. He was older, and I dodged him easily. "Jason. You need to accept or deny these fears now. I will give you an extra 10 seconds." "I know I have these fears. Yes, I am afraid of them. What else do you want from me?!"
"I want your soul."
That phrase made me freeze in a panic, and I slipped off the edge of the small platform. I fell, but didn't scream. I hit the ground, and neither died nor was pulled out of the dream. I was stuck in this nightmare with this person. The man's voice echoes from above.
"Indestructible, are we? Well, good luck with that, Jason. But you still need to admit to these fears." "What do you mean admit to them?! I already accepted them!" "Acceptance was to say you have them. Admittance is saying why they scare you. I'd love to know."
To be honest, I don't know why the dragons scare me. "The dogs scare me because my mom's dog hated me, and it bit me when I was 2. The wolf scares me because the wolves I travel with are... What's the word?" "Temperamental." "Yeah. And they could kill me."
"Actually, they cannot." "What?" "You are indestructible. Any physical harm will be averted from your body. Unless the death is natural, you will never die." "Like the fire I was in?" "Exactly."
"Then how do you explain the countless dog bites I have?" "I can't. But Jason. You still have not admitted or accepted half of these fears." "Because they aren't my fears. They belong to someone else." The dragons appeared on either side of me. "You can't force a fear onto someone. I have no fear of dragons. But you may be trying to do this so you can win in whatever battle."
"Jason. You may have eluded me this time. But you still have to admit the fears. I will see you next time you sleep." And my vision faded as I woke up. I expected the slightest bit of sight after so long, but I remembered I'm entirely blind now. A voice came as a hand grabbed my glove. "You slept a lot. You okay?" Ian. It's Ian's voice.
"I- I'm fine Ian. What time is it?" "6 pm. Wednesday." "Wednesday?! It's Monday!" "Nah. You slept for two days." "What?!?! Ian?" "Yah?"
"Help?" "Wha-" I passed out as the blinding blackness turned to red.
"Jason! C'mon bud. Wake up." I groaned quietly. "Sky?" "Okay... You're okay, Jason. Temporary setback. You have to be careful, Jason. Too much frustration was locked up."
"Is he okay?" Ian's voice again. "He'll be fine. Just don't let him work himself up like that. It's terrible for his health." "My head hurts..." "And it will Jason. You gotta relax. It's crucial that you keep yourself relaxed, or it'll cost you."
"Where am I?" "You're in my room. Ian carried you up here a while ago." "What time is it?" "Now, don't you dare work yourself into a corner again, but it's now Friday morning." "But-" "Jason. What did I just tell you?"
I sighed. "Fine. I'm fine." Just great. I can't even get up. It hurts too much now. I guess I'm stuck in here for a while. Maybe I just need to try.
"Jason." Sky's voice carried warning, and concern. "Relax. Give me a few minutes. I'll be right back." "Where are you going?" "Getting you food. You haven't eaten for a few days."
He was right. I hadn't, and I was actually pretty hungry. My stomach kinda hurt because of it. I heard the door shut, and I knew what silence truly was. It was terrible.
A few minutes, and the door opened with a click. "Jason?" "I'm here." "I got you some food. You better eat." "I'm hungry. Don't think I won't."
"Good. Here." A small plate was set on my lap, and I was handed nothing, meaning it was finger food. I lowered my hand and found a roll of bread. I slowly picked it apart and ate it. I also found something else.
I didn't know what it was, so I tried it. It was meat, but it had a wonderfully unexpected taste. "What is this?" "Chicken... Have you never had chicken?" "No. It's good!"
"Well that's great! New experiences." "I guess..." "Jason. When you finish, I have a surprise for you." "A surprise? What kind of surprise?"
"A gift surprise." Hearing that, I finished quickly, and Sky helped me up. "Let's go get your surprise. Shall we?" He led me down the steps, and into the main hall, judging by the echo of our steps. A soft bark made me gasp. "A dog?" "Yeah... I wasn't sure... I don't know what it looks like, obviously, and you won't either, but it's a seeing-eye dog. They're trained for the blind."
"Oh my god thank you, Sky!" He laughed. "No problem."

-Sky's POV-
Jason seemed happy enough, so I found the dog's leash, and handed it to Jason. He found it in my hand, and took it. The dog was happy to have a home, and I was glad to give it something to do. I whistled, and Fox came running. I felt his energy streak from outside to my side in a second of the whistle.
The alpha hadn't left my side, so I kept him close, but not too close. We walked around,  dodging people left and right like pros. "Sky?" "Yah." "Why is there so much hatred of you? I passed through several villages and stuff, and found stuff that said, 'No Immortals. No Skybrine. No Herobrine. No Dragons.'"
"Well, I wasn't supposed to exist in the first place, Jason. That's why I'm blind, actually. It was to... nerf me. Give me a less threatening appearance to the people, and it clearly wasn't enough for them. To help them tolerate me."
"But they don't. Do they?" "No, Jason. They don't. I haven't gone into any village purposely since I was 5 years old, the year after my mother died." "Why do they hate you though? You're so nice." "See, that's now. When I was younger, I was very frustrated, and often took it out on regular humans."
"I never understood the difference between you and me, and feeling people avoid me... It made me sad, and it made me feel lonely. I never enjoyed being alone, even though I'd grown quite used to it. I never carried my sunglasses back then, and people skirted me. It made me feel absolutely terrible."
"Why did they do that?" "It was to make me end my own life. So they didn't have to and all. It was to dig me into a hole, and bury me alive. I was already spiraling because of my mother's death, and it just brought me down, and made everything worse."
"But I thought you can't die?" "I can't. I actually haven't killed myself, but my dad has killed me twice, the dragon once, and the executioner at the Star kingdom once. I'm all over the place, Jason. My energy is never stuck in one spot. I'm maniacal, and hyperactive."
"How do you do it?" "Do what, Jason?" "Move your energy?" "It's just simply one of the things I gained that my dad doesn't have. I don't know how, I just can. The natural teleporting also moved energy. Just not as fast."
"Well, what if you need something and you aren't there to get it?" "Well then I'm screwed. I can only teleport if I am absolutely free to do so. If I am caged or cursed, I can't do anything. If I am restricted by an enchantment or spell, I also can't."
"It's very serious stuff, Jason. Years of trial and error. Why?" "I was curious if I could try." "Jason, the energy required to shift your personal energy away from your body is too much for your small energy. It will literally kill you. And that would count as natural. You would actually die, Jason. Don't try."
"Okay... I won't." "Good. Maybe when you get older, but not now."

~A year later...~
"Sky?" Yeah, Ty?" "Where'd Jason go?" "He's not down there?!" "Nah! I thought he'd be up there!" "Nah, he went down a while ago. His head was hurting him. Is he on the property?" "I didn't see him when I flew around! So I don't think so." "Shit Ty. It's pouring!"
"I know! I'm sopping wet!" "No Ty! You
Don't understand!" I rushed down the steps to meet Ty in the stairwell doorway. "It'll frustrate the hell outta him. It's really bad for him. We gotta find him Ty. Like, in the next half hour." "Why half hour?" I froze in panic.

-Ty's POV-
"Ty." "What?" "He didn't take the dog. He didn't take Starlight." "How do you know?" "Turn the fuck around." Sitting patiently, framed by the sleet, was Starlight. I don't understand how Sky can tell she's there, being blind and all, but he certainty knows, and he ran to the dog.
"I'm headed out with Ty, Rob! Don't expect us at dinner!" Rob's voice echoed form above. "K! See you when I do!" Sky tugged my wet shirt, and let the dog loose in the rain. "Ty! Let's go! We gotta find him NOW."
We ran out, and found Ian standing in the gateway. The now 16 year old boy stood there, shell shocked. "Ian!" Sky cried. "Get the fuck inside!"
"No!" Ian screamed over the rain. "Ian! Get. The fuck. Inside! You'll get a cold! Or worse!" "I wanna help find Jason!" "No! Go inside! We'll bring him back home when he get him!"
Ian stormed inside. Sky looked distantly into the void, and I couldn't see either, but for a different reason. The rain came down in sheets, and it made a gray haze block vision any farther than 5 feet. I barely heard the dog barking it's head off when Sky tugged my shirt again, and we ran ahead. Sky picked his way to Starlight, and found a ripped jacket and gloves laying in a heap on the ground.
"Damn it! He's got no protection! Stage 2 is gonna take action! We gotta fucking find him! He'll destroy villages! The rain is frustrating him too much!" Sky tried to scream, but it was lost to the wind. I heard a faint explosion ahead of me, and bolted in that direction.
Something bad was happening.
