Summary: Sara Styles. Have you ever heard that name before? I'm sure you have heard the last name Styles, but never with Sara. Sure, the directioner fandom was like the FBI but why did they never find out Harry had a second sister? There's a reason behind this, she's obese. She's Harold's twin sister.

You are about to witness the story of an infamous sister of a famous singer of the boy band that has won the world. Will she be able to handle the spotlight or will she crash?

Reviewer's Remarks: Story of My Life as you can assume by the title is a one direction fan fiction. The story revolves around a female youth who is coping with her brother's - Harry Styles - sudden fame and the constant bullying she faces from her peers, including Harry's bandmate, Louis Tomlinson. Her identity has been kept confidential from the media by Harry's management because they deem her as a threat to the band's prestige and reputation.

As far as I have read, the protagonist attempts suicide - although she manages to make it out alive - and the reader is offered flashbacks and multiple points of views of those closest to her.

I admired the author's endeavour to portray a pubescent female dealing with insecurity.

However, I felt like the story and its characters were a tad bit constrained. The thing about writers - even those who depict the most unique and unearthly settings - is that they compose a story which the readers buy. This is done through being attentive of bridging plot holes and illustrating realistic characters which the audience can relate too.

Personally, upon noting that the author had described the cause of Sara's lack of presence from the media as a result of her obesity - I did not agree with this. I refuse to commence a debate on body shamming, but I feel a need to point out that this is an invalid reason. I didn't buy this detail. Firstly, as Sara's sibling Harry or any other individual of their family would have obviously spoken out over such a despicable plot. And secondly, surely we have the slightest faith in humanity - excluding the unfair and negative body shammers - there are a number of individuals who support body diversity.

Overall, it was a fair read and would be recommended to avid readers of one direction fan fiction.

Rating (out of five): 3

A note to the author: I admired how you tackled issues such as bullying and didn't shy away from discussing topics such as mental health, suicide, body image etcetera.
