~Danny's POV~

"We'll have to take you to the hospital, do you understand?" Robin's voice came. I quickly shook m head in a no manor. 

"Can't go... They'll find... me..." I managed with pleading eyes. The taller shared a look with Red Robin before the former reached up to his ear. I couldn't make out what he was saying as a ringing sounded throughout my head, blocking any train of thoughts.

I tried to shake my head to get rid of the horrid sound penetrating my ear drums. 

I felt two gloved hands grab my head in order to hold me still. I barely could hear a voice, or was it two, shouting, before I blacked out.

Well, I tried...

~Third POV~

"Phantom! Phantom, can you hear me?!" A boy that is wearing black, yellow, green, and red and goes by the name of Robin, shouted at another male that is wearing a black and white hazmat suit covered in discolored blood, who goes by the name Phantom. 

"Red Robin, he's not responding!" Robin shouted towards a shorter boy wearing black, red, and yellow that's called Red Robin, not to be confused with the restaurant. 

"Hold him still! He's going to aggravate his injuries!" The shorter shouted, quickly moving to help hold down Phantom's arms as Robin held his head still.

The white haired boy soon ceased movement, going limp in the two boys' hold.

"We got to get him some medical help immi-" Red Robin was cut off as a bright light of blue and white shown around the now asleep boy, moving up and down to reveal a different person. One with black hair, blood stained red hoodie, tattered black pants, and you could see a navy blue T-shirt with small wholes in it peaking out from under the hoodie. 

"Danny?!" The two masked boys exclaimed, thoroughly surprised by their discovery. 

"Yep, Bat-cave it is!" Robin said just as sirens sounded in the distance. 

"Your brother was here?" Red Hood asked, the right side of his mask raising. 

"Apparently..." Red Robin mumbled. 

"Where's Batman?" Robin asked, looking towards Red Hood who is wearing a red helmet, brown leather jacket, along with the colors red and black that make up his suit.

"Finishing up inside." Came the sort answer.

"Well, at least we know he didn't blow us off yesterday..." Robin said, picking up the black haired boy now called Danny.

"Yeah." Red Hood scoffed just as Batman made his appearance. 

"Danny was held here too, I suppose." Batman said in his normal gruff voice, helping Robin with the boy covered in blood and a green substance.

"Yeah, and that's not all. I'll tell you the rest later, but for now, we need to get him to the cave. Hospital's no good." Robin explained.

"Is he?" Came the Black Night's response.

"I think so..." Robin replied.

"What are you guys talking about?" Red Robin questioned. 

He was ignored as Batman and Robin loaded up Danny across the back seat of the Batmobile. 

"Red Hood, Red Robin, finish up here." Batman said as he and Robin got into the vehicle and drove away.

"What was that about?" Red Robin looked towards Red Hood.

"The frick* you lookin' at me for! Like I bloody* know!" Red Hood shouted before swinging himself onto his bike and driving away, leaving Red Robin to talk to the police.

~Bat-Cave~

"So he's a ghost?" Batman asked, removing himself from the Batmobile.

"A halfa, I think." Robin corrected, helping Batman to remove Danny from the vehicle that every sane person steers clear of.

"Anyway, he's the famous Phantom that saved you awhile back, huh?" Batman smirked at his first protege.

"I guess so. My big bro saves me even when he doesn't know me!" Robin grinned, momentarily forgetting he was carrying an unconscious Danny with Batman's help, to the med-bay.

"He's to light..." Robin trailed off, examining his brother, noticing that he's seems thinner than before.

"He looked just fine last time we seen him? What happened?" Robin asked, looking towards his mentor. 

"Maybe he can disguise himself, or something. I know that he looked much healthier when he came over..." Batman replied.

"Didn't Jay say something about seeing him a few days ago and Danny looking different." Robin asked while setting Danny's top half onto the bed while Batman had his legs.

"I do believe he did." The Bat responded, taking off the hoodie and shirt to get a better look at the boys wounds with the help of Robin.

As soon as Robin got a look at his chest and stomach, he stopped moving due to utter shock.

"Oh my..."

On the black haired, blue eyed, unconscious boy, where scars. And not just one or two, but more than Batman and his proteges combined.

"What?" The Bat asked before looking at the scared skin.

"What happened to you, Danny?" Robin asked, the question left hanging in the air.
