Over the course of the next three days, Todoroki would visit your house along with Izuku. It was fun and surprisingly Todoroki was an excellent teacher. and Izuku was also very hard working and took good notes which helped out a lot. The first two days passed by in a flash and it was finally the last day to study.

"I think that's the last session we studied in class." Said Izuku as he clicked his pen.

"Really?! We're done?!"

"Seems like it." Todoroki confirmed with a smile. "May I use your bathroom?" He asked politely.

"Yeah, sure, go ahead." He walked away and you jumped hearing your phone buzz on the table.

It was a video call from your mom so you hurriedly answered the call and brought your phone up to your face.

"Hey Mom!" You waved seeing her in her working uniform.

"Hi sweetie how are you doing!" She had a huge smile on her face. It was the 'I have a surprise face'.

"I'm here studying with a couple of friends. This is Izuku Midoriya." You introduced and moved the camera towards him.

"Hi Ms.L/n!" Izuku greets as sweet as ever.

"Oh! I've heard much about you! It's nice to finally see you and congratulations!" Your mom gave him a small wink. Izuku blushed understanding what she meant and scratched the back of his head in embarrassment.

"Th-Thank you." He stuttered.

"Oh! Todoroki just in time!" You saw him exit the bathroom and called him over and he took a seat next to you.

"Mom this is Shoto Todoroki." You introduced. Todoroki was caught a bit off guard and simply waved.

"Nice to meet you, mam." Your mom giggled.

"Wow, my daughter has some really good looking friends!" You had a slight blush spread across your face.

"Mommmmm." You complained. She simply gave you a dismissive wave.

"So what are you all doing?" She asked.

"We just finished studying for the final exams." You switched the camera to show all the books you three had laid out. "So what's the surprise mom?" You asked with a smirk switching back the camera.

"Aw! Why can't you at least wait until I say I have surprise??" She complained as a child would.

"Just show me!"

"Hey Y/n!!!!" You could hear your sister shout even before your mom turned the camera.

"TIFANY!" You shouted, startling the two boys. You finally got a good look at her and Izuku was super hyped to meet the #1 hero in America.

"Sorry I couldn't see you when you came to visit." She apologized with a pout.

"No worries, I know you're pretty busy. These are my friends! Izuku and Todoroki!" You turned the camera to each one of them as you said their name.

"Oh! Mom was right, you've got good looking friends!" She joked trying to tease you. Izuku and Todoroki had a small blush hearing the compliment.

"Oh? By the way, how are you doing with 'Tornado' I mean Rafael?" You wiggled your eyebrows knowing just how to tease your sister.

"Th-That's none of your business!" She looked away obviously flustered.

"So how have you be-!" You were interrupted when you heard a beeping noise coming from Tifany's wrist, and you knew what that meant. All the energy you had before was slowly falling and your friends could tell.

"Sorry, Y/n I've-"

"Got hero work to do, it's okay, go get'em sis!" You cheered with a forced smile.

"I'll make it up to you the next time I see you! I promise!" And with that, she was out of sight. You knew she meant well but you just wanted to spend some more time with your sister.

"Hey mom, I'm gonna finish up here, today's our last day so I'll keep you updated. Love you!" You waved goodbye and your mom understood the message. With a sad smile, she waved back.

"Love you too sweetie, take care and study hard." She blew a kiss and the video finished.

"Hey guys I'm gonna go get a charger." You said as you stood up and walked over to your room. The two boys looked at each other.

"Should we ask her if she's alright?" Izuku asked seeing your change in mood. Todoroki looked back at your room and then back at his classmate.

"Maybe." Izuku felt his phone buzz in his pocket, took it out, and noticed it was a call from his mom.

"Do you mind asking her while I take this call?" He asked politely. Todoroki nodded and got up to head to your room. He knocked on the door softly.

"Y/n?" He said before walking in. You were sitting on your bed holding your face in your hands.

"Go away, I'll be out in a sec." You muttered.

"Are, you crying?" He asked hesitantly not really knowing how to comfort someone, maybe Izuku was better for this.

"No, I'm pissed off, so go away." You stayed in the same position as you were found.

"Why are you angry?" You didn't want to talk to him of all people about this but you sighed knowing he wouldn't leave.

"Stupid heroes." You answered coldly. Todoroki lifted an eyebrow.

"What about them?" He urged.

"They're fcjoks taksinfn wy mjy sifhter." Your words were barely audible.

"Y/n," Todoroki walked over to you and you tensed up feeling his hands on yours all of a sudden. "I can't hear you with your hands like this." He didn't try to pry your hands off of your face but you knew what he was intending but shook your head. "You're not going to hurt me." He assured but you knew that he was just trying to get you to listen.

You slowly removed your hands but had your eyes shut tight.

"They're fucking taking away my sister." You mumbled.

"What are you talking about?" You balled your hands into fists.

"My dad was never home before and my mom worked around the clock so at the time I only had my sister. Then when my dad passed away the number two hero didn't step up, they just put all the responsibility on my sister and told her that she had to become number one, and what else could she do? The whole country was counting on her. And as she continued practicing and doing hero work, I almost never got to see her anymore and before I knew it, I was all alone." You wiped away tears that threatened to fall.

"I guess I kinda know how you feel," Todoroki spoke up making you jump a bit remembering he was there in the room.

"My dad made me train alone since he thought, that I was 'special' and that I shouldn't be with my siblings and I ended up alone." Todoroki didn't know why he was talking about himself when he was trying to make you feel better but somehow, talking about how he felt too made you feel a bit less lonely.

"Guess we had some pretty shitty lives huh." You joked, finally looking up at him. Todoroki was pleasantly surprised to see you had finally opened your eyes.

"I guess you could put it that way." He chuckled and tucked away a strand of hair from your face behind your ear. "You know, you look better when you smile." You were caught off guard by his comment, it wasn't usual from him to say things like that.

"I could say the same thing about you." You poked his chest and chuckled. You two stayed there for a moment just looking at each other, enjoying the moment, but that's when you noticed.

What's up with this atmosphere?

You stood up and straightened your outfit.

"We should get going." You said softly.

"Are you sure you're okay now?" He laid his hand on your shoulder, it was warm and comforting.

"Yeah, I'm much better now." You smiled sweetly towards him. It was like you were frozen in place and you started to notice some details about him like how amazing his monochromatic eyes were, they were mesmerizing, how his face looked so soft, it made you wanna squish his cheeks. All the while you could feel your heart start to beat faster and faster by the second, unconsciously you start reaching up as if to get a better look at him.

"Y/n?" He said and for a split second your eyes wandered to his lips before Izuku came by, knocking on the door.

"Um...I-Is everything okay?" He asked shyly looking into a girls room; it was a pretty big deal to him. You jumped hearing him suddenly and took a step back.

"Yeah, everything's fine now, let's get back to work!" You cheered and was the first one out of the room. Izuku followed behind you while Todoroki was left confused and wondering what you were doing just a moment ago.

Crap crap crap!

You thought as you entered the kitchen.

What the hell was that all about???

"Um, you guys want some hamburgers?" You called out.

"Sure!"

"Sure." They responded. You got to work but couldn't stop your mind from wandering back to that moment.

I was just curious, that's all! You know what they say, curiosity killed the cat!

"Hey, be careful!" You were surprised seeing Todoroki next to you, catching the frying pan before it hit the ground. You looked at him somewhat in shock.

But satisfaction brought it back.

"Do you need help?" Izuku chimed in.

"Um, right! Yes please!" You cooked up dinner and managed to finish studying. Once they were gone, you closed the door and flopped on your bed, realizing what was going on in your head.
