Manish and swarna was happy because finally their son come back to them and finally they get their son 's love but someone is missing yes you all are right he is Shubham.

Shubham the youngest son of Manish and swarna who is away from them  and currently pursued his MBA in Xavier's College . When kartik was 7  years old saumya died and Manish remarried with  Swarna  and he start hating them after 2 years when shubham born he never connect with him too .

He always seen swarna in shubham and that increase his hatred toward  Shubham but shubham always ideolize him and Love him . He knew the reason of kartik 's hatred toward him and tried to hate him too but unable to do that . Kartik show that he hate shubham but deep inside his heart he always loved him but never show it . Shubham always want an elder brother when he saw his friends with elder brother he wish kartik and his bond like that but this didn't happend . Although he is ideal elder brother for luv and Kush and Mansi  but never for him as he always lived far away from him . Whenever he saw kartik and luv kush together he miss kartik more and because of that he decide to go hostel like kartik he also go because he don't wanna trouble kartik .  First he go Pune for schooling then abroad for graduation and now mumbai for MBA . He didn't come for keerti and kartik 's marriage too as he don't want to trouble his bade bhaiya .

Now kartik realise his mistake of  mistreat his brother and wanted to reform his relationship with him but he don't know how to do it . He presume may be his brother too hate him for behaving like a jerk with him but he don't know how much he love him and crave for his elder brother ' s love .

The scene start from the goenka villa . It was bright morning but in goenka villa everyone was doing their work as per the schedule . Suhasni was busy in her morning Pooja . Kartik and Manish came back from jogging , naira and swarna was in kitchen and surekha and keerti ran behind luv kush to get ready for their school .

Now everyone was sat on the sofa . Naira , swarna and keerti prepare dinning table for breakfast . Just then Manish gain everyone attention .

Manish - aare swarna shubham ka phone aaya tumhare paas kab hai uski convocation ceremony . Ab toh finally uski padhai Puri hogayi hai ab toh woh bhi business join karega ( grinned widely) finally mere dono bete business sambhalege aur kuch saalon baad main retirement le lunga .

And a happiness reflect in his voice . He eyes shinned thinking about future when he will able to spend time with his both sons as they will working together all the time .

On the other side Hearing shubham name kartik get lost and swarna too as she remember her conversation with shubham in which he said after completing his education he will move to Berlin as he get a better job opportunity to kick start his career and he don't want to join a family business and don't want to return home too . Her chain of thoughts broke by Manish voice .

Manish - bolo swarna baat huyi shubham se ki nahi tumhari .

Swarna ( nervously ) - haa huyi thi Manish ji .... Usne kaha uski convocation 1 week baad hai aur usne yeh bhi kaha hai ki ....

She stop in her tracks as she don't have courage to speak further . Everyone curiously look at her .

Manish ( getting impatient )  - aage bolo swarna .

Swarna - aur usne kaha ki woh udaipur wapas nahi aana chahata hai aur naa hi family business join karna chahata hai usse Berlin se job offer aaya hai toh woh kuch din yaha ruk kar next month Berlin shift hojayega .

Everyone was shocked to heard that . Kartik felt guilty as he knew somewhere he is responsible for his decision for leaving away from his family . He is now more guilty to treat his younger brother like that after hearing his decision he was sure that somewhere he too hate him .

Manish ( angrily ) - dimag kharab hogaya hai kya iss ladke ka call him swarna main abhi baat karta hu .

Hearing this kartik come near Manish just to hear his younger brother 's voice . Manish sense it and he decided to put it on speaker so kartik could hear his voice .
Swarna dialled Shubham 's number and pass phone to Manish . As the bell rang kartik heartbeat get faster .

Now the scene shift to  the boy's hostel in which 3 boys is seen in the room in Mumbai . One boy is sleeping , second was playing a video game and third one was fighting with second one .

A handsome boy in his early 20s is seen . His phone rang . He saw maa 's caller id flash on it . His face revealed and he is non other shubham .

Shubham - maa ka phone .... I am sure yeh maa nahi paaka papa hi hoge unhone hi maa ke phone se phone kiya hoga. Maa ne mere faisle ke baare main bataya hoga aur papa ne mujhe confront karne ke liye phone kiya hoga .

He saw his surroundings and saw his friends fighting and sigh in defeat and went to balcony to talk .

Shubham come in balcony and received the phone .

Shubham ( feeling nervous )  - hello papa

Manish ( in cold Voice ) - hello wello baad main pehele yeh batao ki khud hi saare plans bana liye hamse discuss karna zaroori nahi samjha .

He didn't greet him properly and blast over him . Shubham lowered down his head didn't utter a word . As he  know more than angry he is hurt as whole life he craved for his sons . First kartik was angry with him and leave him and shubham too did the same he was not angry but he too leave house like kartik and hurt him alot . He felt guilty doing this but he don't want to do it but he don't want to trouble his elder brother too as he know don't like his presence .

Manish ( shout ) - bolo

His trance broke by Manish 's voice .

Shubham - nahi aisa kuch nahi hai main convocation main batane wala tha . I realy wanna join this job papa please aap samjhiye .

Manish - okk fine agar tumhe job karni hai toh kar lo but yaha udaipur main Kahi aur nahi . Bahaut din dur reh liye tum dono bhai ham sab se ab aur nahi ( sighs )  Kartik ghar aa chuka hai ab tum bhi aajao beta .

Said Manish with hurtful voice and disappointment . Kartik and shubham sense it and felt guilty . Shubham really want to come home but at the same time he don't want to hurt kartik too . Somewhere kartik too know this . Just then shubham 's friend come and start saying something from behind .

Kabir - aare saaf - saaf bol shubham ki tu aapne bhaiya ki wajhse nahi jaa raha hai Ghar .

Everyone was shocked to heard that specially Kartik and shubham too shocked heard that as he was shocked how he knew it .

Shubham ( surprised )  - yeh kya bol Raha hai tu Kabir .

Kabir - sahi hi toh keh raha hu tu hamesha nahi keheta mera Bhai Mera idol hai toh jab kartik bhaiya ne bahar job ki ek saal phir business join Kara toh tu bhi yahi karna chahata hai naa .

( Note shubham know about Kartik join the business not about kartik and Manish reconcile )

Everyone sigh in relief specially shubham and Kartik .

Kabir ( snatch a phone from him and put it on speaker ) - Shubham ab toh kartik bhaiya Ghar pe hi hai mujhe bhi baat karni hai unse . Tere mu se itni baatein suni hai ki mera bhi Maan kar raha hai unse baat karne ka .

Kartik get happy to heard that as finally he get a reason to talk to shubham but soon his happiness turned into sadness hear shubham next words .

Shubham ( tried to control his emotion ) - let it be Kabir bhaiya busy hoge iss waqt . I am sure woh ghar pe bhi nahi hoge iss waqt office main honge toh tu baad main baat kar liyo theek hai .

Kartik face fell heard that as he desperately wanted to talk to him and wanted to break an ice with him . Shubham face too fell because he also wanted to hear his brother voice but he knew he would definately avoid to talk to him and he don't want that his friends get to know anything about the reality of their relationship .

Swarna notice it and she deliberately shout kartik 's name .

Swarna - kartik beta tumhe upar luv kush bula rahe hai jaao .

Shubham and Kabir heard it and he adamant to talk to kartik . Manish passed phone to kartik . Kartik take it from his hand .

Kartik - hello .... Hello shubham aawaz nahi aarahi hai ( to everyone ) yaha aawaz nahi aarahi hai main waha side main baat kar leta hu ( pointed toward other side )

Everyone nodded and kartik hurriedly went from there as he made excuse to go from there . He knew if he would talk to Shubham he would definitely get emotional and he don't want to show it to everyone .

Kartik take a deep breath and prepared himself to talk to shubham .

Kartik - hello chote ...

Shubham get emotional to heard his voice specially heard chote . He knew it was not from heart but he doing acting infront of his friends to show Everything is good between them .

Shubham ( tried to control his tears )  - bhaiya .... Aap Kabir se baat kariye I will talk to you later . Ham dono toh waise bhi baat karte rehte hai .

Kartik didn't said anything and cover his mouth with his hands to stop the sound of crying . He somehow control  himself and talk to kabir shubham ' friend .

Kartik - hello kabir how are you bro .

Kabir - I am fine bhaiya . You know shubham aapke baare bahaut baatein karta hai . Bhaiya mere idol hai mujhse bahaut pyar karte hai .

Kartik and shubham both get emotional . Kartik get emotional heard that although he hate him to all these years but still he tried to save his image infront of others . Shubham too get emotional and wanted all his lies to get truth one day . They talk for sometime then Kabir passed phone to shubham and went from there . Before kartik said anything shubham intervenes .

Shubham - bade bhaiya I am really sorry mujhe kehana pada woh aapne doston se don't worry you don't have to do anything I will handle bhaiya you don't worry baas ek hafte ki baat hai then I will move to Berlin for my new job .

He get emotional when he said last line . He don't want to go Berlin but still wanted to go for his family's peace and specially for his bhaiya .

Kartik - jaana zaroori hai kya chote ?? I mean baaki sab tujhe bahaut yaad karege .

Shubham - haa jaana zaroori hai kabhi - kabhi aapno ke liye we have to take extreme step ( realised what he said then decide to cut the call ) accha bhaiya ab phone rakhta hu maa ke phone pe phone kar dunga .

And he hurriedly cut the call kartik too ran toward his room and his and Shubham conversation ran over his mind . He really want to talk to more with him want to tell him how much your brother love you .

Kartik sat near the window and  thinking about his and Shubham relationship from starting .

( Saath rey " from kapoor and sons start playing )

He whimpers as he tried to control his tears . He wipe his tears and drank water to calm himself down . He buries his head in his hand and just stays like that in distress .

Saathi rey thoda thehar jaa
Abhi raaste kuch badal se jaayenge
O saathi rey thoda thehar jaa
Yeh paanv bhi ab sambhal se jaayege

Kartik close his eyes and whimpers in guilt and sorrow as he remember how he behave with him from the time he born . He remember how Manish and kartik tried to bridge a gap between the two brothers .

FLASHBACK

( In Manish 's study at goenka villa , shubham was 7 years old and kartik was 16 years old )

Manish was sitting in the study and waiting for shubham and kartik to come in the study area . Soon akhilesh come with kartik and shubham too come . They both come on same time .

Kartik - yaha kyu aaye hai ham chachu ( saw angrily toward Manish and shubham )

Manish saw his glare he felt bad but he composed himself as right now his priority is to unite the brothers . He don't know how much time it take to mend their relationship but he wanted atleast his sons reunite that will be the biggest gift and achievement for him .

Manish ( coldly ) - kartik maine bulaya hai tum dono ko yaha to talk to both of u .

Shubham - haa boliye papa .

Kartik ( look at akhilesh ) - chachu jisse baat karni hai karo I don't wanna talk to anyone ( look at shubham and Manish ) please let me go chachu .

Manish saw blankly at both his son one is in anger and second is full of hope as he thought atleast his dad would be given his elder brother back as he had a conversation with his father for the same .

Akhilesh ( convince kartik ) - kartik ek baar sun lo naa baat please .

Kartik - aap hoge naa yaha chachu .

Akhilesh nodded and kartik held akhilesh hand whereas shubham too stand with Kartik but kartik totally ignore shubham and go and stand other side holding akhilesh hand . Shubham face fell . Manish indicate him to come and stand with him . Manish indicate akhilesh to sat on chair with kartik and he himself sat infront of them with shubham .

Manish - mujhe tum dono bhaiyo se baat karni hai .

Kartik and Shubham get baffled and look at each other and look at Manish and waiting for him to continue . Kartik with not so interested look and shubham with high hopes .

Manish - kartik .... Shubham you both are brothers so I think you both should live together with love not always fight with each other .

Kartik look at him bewildered .

Manish ( sighs ) - kartik beta tumhari ladai mujhse hai bechare shubham ki kya galti . Jaise keerti tumhari badi behan hai mansi aur luv kush tumhare chote bhai behan hai waise hi shubham bhi tumhara Bhai hai toh usse bhi waise hi treat Karo jaise luv kush ko karte ho . Don't give punishment to him atleast . He also want his brother 's love .

Manish , shubham and Akhilesh look toward kartik hopefully , hoping he would understand but kartik does the opposite .

Kartik - Shubham mera bhai nahi hai . His mom kill my mom . I don't wanna kept any relationship with him .

Shubham get hurt heard that . He go toward him .

Shubham ( approach him ) - bhaiya aap mujhe pyar kyu nahi karte ??

Kartik ( looking away ) - shubham please go away from here .

Shubham - kartik bhaiya aapne Aisa kyu kaha ki main aapka Bhai nahi hu we are brothers naa jaise papa aur chachu hai .

Kartik get irritated with his behaviour . He jerk his hand and shout .

Kartik ( shout ) - for God sake shubham you are 7 now grow up aur samjh lo iss baat ko ki ham dono kabhi Bhai nahi ho sakte we are just strangers who live under the same roof . Tu aur main Bhai kabhi nahi hosakte . Toh jaao yaha se aur kabhi mujhse baat maat karna .

After said that kartik angrily Stromed out from the study room . Before leaving he take a glance of Shubham who sob profusely hugging Manish. He felt bad but he ignore his thoughts and leave from there . Manish consoling him and thinking about his both sons future .

Back to present

Kartik look at shubham photo with guilt all over his face .

Kartik ( in mind ) - ab mujhe samjh aaya mere bhai tumhe kaise laga hoga jab maine tumse itni batamizi se baat Kiya same waise jaise aaj mere saath kya you don't behave rudely but your words made me realise how much I hurt you alot mere bhai . Hosake toh mujhe maaf kar Dena mere chote bhai . Tum bahaut chote the jab maine tumse pehele baar kaha you are not my brother we are just strangers . I am really sorry brother for hurting u .

He remember shubham 's crying face and cursing himself to hurt him to the core which is now beyond to repair .

On the other side shubham too was sitting in the terrace thinking about kartik and his relationship .

Yaara tu hi toh bandagi hai
Yaara tu hi duaa

Yaara kaisi yeh berukhi hai
Kyu judda tu huaa

He saw some old photographs in which everyone was there with him except kartik . Just then his eyes fall on one photo in which he was crying badly and Mansi and keerti tease him and huge smile crept on his face thinking about some past memories .

FLASHBACK

( Same day of when Manish tried to bridge a gap between the brothers . )

Shubham was very hurt with the behaviour of kartik but Manish made him understand that he was just upset because of something else and he loves him alot and he believes on him too .

Shubham was playing in the hall . After sometime he went to stairs and start sliding on the railing . After sometime he was about fall but two strong pair of arms held him firmly and prevent him from falling . He was non other than Kartik .

Kartik saw shubham closed his eyes in fear .

Kartik ( softly ) - shubham open your eyes dekho you are safe .

Shubham slowly open his eyes and saw he is in kartik 's arms . Kartik help him to made him sit properly .

He take him downstairs and made him drank water . Out of fear shubham hug kartik . First kartik was startled and start looking blankly toward Shubham . He immediately break the hug and passed him the glass of water . He drank water and sobbing at the same time . Kartik get irritated with this sobbing voice so he shout .

Kartik ( irritatedly )  - baas ab rona band karo ( paas him tissue ) lo take it and clean your face .

Shubham extended his hand and take tissue from his hand he was still sobbing .

Shubham ( wipe his tears ; still sobbing ) - thank u bhaiya

Shubham look at kartik who was looking into his eyes , literally glaring at him .

Shubham ( innocently ) - bhaiya aapki eyes red kyu hai ??

Kartik ( shout ) - chup ( Shubham flitched hearing his loud voice) dimag theek hai Tera shubham . I know tu chota hai par itna bhi nahi ki sahi aur galat naa pata ho . Mumma papa ne bataya hai naa Stairs pe stunt nahi karte ( he nodded cutely ) phir bhi Kiya . Kyu ( shout )

Hearing shout voice shubham get scared and start crying . Kartik immediately felt guilty and go toward him and bend to his level .

Kartik ( feeling guilty ; calmly ) - shubham chup hojaa ( get frustrated ) chup hojaa warna main bhi ro dunga .

Shubham ( sobbing ; with sniffed nose ) - paar aap kyu royenge aap dhulan ho kya ( said cutely )

Kartik chuckled hearing this . Just then he noticed Shubham holding one hand with other and he noticed some bruises in his hands too .

Kartik extended his hand and saw it was deep and blood too flow from it . He get worried seeing it . Seeing in pain suddenly brotherly feeling develop in his heart for shubham and he forget for the while that he is the same person whom some time ago he said I  hate you and you are not my brother . And now suddenly he start showing concern toward him .

He made him sit on the sofa . Ran toward the drawer take out a first aid kit and then ran back to shubham .

Kartik ( take his hand in his hand ; gently crassed his wound ) - dard horaha hai bhai ( hell worried )

Shubham ( nodded ) - haa aur pain bhi horaha hai .

Kartik ( lovingly saw toward shubham )  - koyi baat nahi bade bhaiya hai naa woh sab sahi kar dege main abhi medicine lagaunga sab sahi hojayega hmm .

Shubham didn't said anything and just look toward his elder brother blankly . Kartik air blow The wound then he clean the wound with Dettol then he apply anticeptic cream on it . Suddenly shubham winced in pain . Kartik give apologitic look . Kartik carefully applying cream on his wound take care that he didn't feel pain .

Shubham smiling seeing all this and remember the line " koyi baat nahi bade bhaiya hai naa " . Then he remember Manish 's words " your bhaiya loves you alot but he is stressed right now " . He now believing that his father was right he really love him and he too love his elder brother alot . Shubham was very happy as for the first time talk politely with him and shower love on him like he do with Mansi and luv kush .

Whenever he saw kartik playing with luv kush a feeling of envy develop in his heart he too wanted kartik love him like he love his other brother and sister . Whenever he saw his other friend Getting pampered and spoil by his elder brother he too wanted a same kind of treatment for himself from kartik but he never get it . Whenever he take some steps towards kartik and wanted to talk with him he royally ignore him . He complaint about the same to Manish and swarna too but they always Used to explain that it is his misunderstanding, Karthik loves him alot but he thought kartik doesn't love him but now he was sure that his brother loves him alot .

After completing the dressing kartik made him understand that it's wrong to doing this kind of stunts and Shubham understand it too later he play with shubham too . First he was reluctant but later when he requested him cutely and made a puppy face he get melt and agree to play with him .

Back to present

Shubham smiling himself thinking about that incident . He already knew that his brother loves him but he did t show and he understand the reason of being Hating him and his parent sorry their parents .When he start grow up he start realising that kartik did with him was just a formality and he started distance from him . He start hating him too for treating him and his parents like a jerk . 

Shubham was 14 years old when he know the reason of kartik 's hate first he was confused , angry hate mixed emotions arose in his mind his hatred increase more that how could he did that but when he experience similar situation when due to some misunderstanding he misunderstood his best friend then he understand kartik situation and his preception for kartik too change . Now he felt bad for him and start loving him too but for him he leave home too because he don't wanted to be a root cause of any problem for him .

Both kartik and shubham sitting in their favourite place respectively and thinking about past . One is guilty and the second one was yearning for the love of his elder brother .

Both the brother who stay away from each other because of one misunderstanding and Kartik's hatred . Now all the misunderstanding solve and kartik too realise his mistake but shubham didn't had any slightest Idea of this .

Will kartik kept aside his guilt and tries to talk to shubham or will assume that he too hate him and will live in guilt forever .

Will Shubham tried to bridge a gap aur he will still make unnecessary sacrifices for his brother ??
