It is a quiet night in the city of vale where we find a certain male who goes by Zack Fullbuster walking down the street.
Zack (POV)
Zack *mind*-Bro, I'm running low on mags and dust for my guns. Luckily there's a dust shop not to far from here. I think it was called From Dust Till Dawn. Kind of a cheap name if you ask me. Oh well. Gotta do what ya gotta do.
Timeskip
No one (POV)
Zack continues his stroll until he comes upon his destination where he sees what seems to be a burglar fly out the dust shop window.
Zack (POV)
Holy Shit!! What the hell?!!
???-Yo kid, you gonna help or something? I got a whole bunch of lien with your name on it if you do.
Zack- Well if isn't the infamous Roman Torchwick. Sorry but I'm gonna have to decline that offer. Matter of fact, I'm gonna take your ass down(unsheathes Death Sentence)
Out of the corner of my eye, I see a cute black haired girl come out the store with a really big scythe
Torchwick- Okayyy. Get them.
Torchwick's goons rush me and the girl but Zack front flips over them
Zack- You're done for. X slash

My X slash takes out Roman's goons but Roman is nowhere to be seen.
Mystery Girl- He went up there(points to Roman climbing up a ladder of a nearby building)
Zack- Alright. I'll follow your lead.
The girl and I followed Roman to the top of the roof.
Zack- Yo what's good Roman? Leaving the party so soon? And just when the fun was getting started.
Torchwick- Persistent
Then a Bullhead flys above the building and Roman try's to make his escape.
Torchwick- End of the line boy and red!
Roman throws a fire crystal at myself and the girl and then shot it causing a small explosion. However, before it could explode, a blonde huntress with glasses blocked the explosion with her semblance. She then sent purple lasers at the bullhead while I pulled out Angels Mercy and Last Rite and open fired on the bullhead. Then a woman with ember eyes appeared in the bullhead opening and shot fire at the us causing another explosion. The huntress used the debris from the explosion to form a massive spear like object using her semblance and threw it at the bullhead. The woman then created a force field of fire canceling the huntresses attack. The force field attack caused all three of us to be knocked back and thus Roman and the woman fly off. The girl then turns to the huntress
Mystery girl- You're a huntress! Can I have your autograph?!
Zack- (smacks his face)*inhales*sighhh
Timeskip
No one (POV)
Zack and mystery girl are currently sitting in a room while huntress rants on about their actions and how dangerous it was.
Zack (POV)
Zack *mind*- it's not like haven't done this before. I do this shit all the time. The more whitefang and Torchwick's men I take down the closer I get to him...
Huntress- if it were up to me, you guys would be sent home with a pat on the back and a slap on the wrist (smacks table with whip) but there is someone here to see you.
A man with silver hair and glasses holding a plate of cookies and coffee walks into the room
Man- Ruby Rose. You have silver eyes.
Zack *mind*- So her name's Ruby. I dig it.
Man- And Zack Fullbuster.
Zack- Yo.
Man- Ms. Rose, where did you learn to do this (shows Ruby the footage of her and Zack fighting.)
Ruby- Umm Signal Academy.
Man- They taught you how to wield one of the most dangerous weapons ever designed?
Ruby- Well one teacher in particular.
Man- I see ( hands Ruby the plate of cookies). It's just that I've seen only one other scythe wielder. A dusty old crow.
Ruby-(mouth full of cookies) mhmm that's my uncle.
Man- Excuse me
Ruby- heh sorry. That's my uncle Qrow. He's a teacher at Signal. I was garbage before he took me under his wing. Now I'm all like(proceeds to make fighting noises and karate chops)
Man- *smirks* So I've noticed. And you Mr. Fullbuster. Where did learn how to fight.
Zack- Well most of it I learned from my dad and bro. The part of it I learned from experience of being on my own.
Man- And why are you on your own?
Zack-I'd...rather not talk about it(looks away with saddened look)
Man- (gives sympathetic look) Of course.
Ruby *mind*-(turns toward Zack) I don't like the way he said that. It sounds as if something really bad happened to him. No one who looks that cute and handsome deserves to go through tragedy. Wait why am I thinking this about him.
Man- Ms. Rose, what is an adorable girl such as yourself doing at a school designed to train warriors?
Ruby- Well, I want to be a huntress.
Man- You want to slay monsters?
Ruby- I only have two more years left at Signal and then I'm going to apply to Beacon. My sister is studying there this year and she's trying to become a huntress and I'm trying to become a huntress so that I can help people and my parents always taught us to help others so I thought might as well make a career out of it and....
Zack *mind*- Man can this girl talk. She just keeps going on and on. Kinda adorable if you ask me wait what.
Man- I see and you Mr. Fullbuster. What do want to be.
Zack- I planned on becoming the best hunter that ever existed. That was my goal from the beginning. I planned on going to Beacon next year. Y'know me being sixteen and all
Ruby *mind*- He's only sixteen?! But he looks so much older. Like around Yangs age. How can someone that gorgeous be only a year older than me?
Man- Hmmm. (Looks at both Ruby and me) Do you know who I am.
Zack- Nope. Not a clue.
Ruby- You're professor Ozpin. You're the headmaster at beacon.
Zack *mind*- Professor Oz huh
Ozpin- (smirks) Hello
Ruby- Hi
Zack- Sup bro
Ozpin- Do you want to come to my school?
Ruby- More than anything
Zack- Sure why not
Ozpin- (looks at the huntress then looks back at us) Well ok. Welcome to Beacon Academy. The airship will arrive on Monday to pick you both up. Don't be late.
Ruby- OH MY OUM. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! I promise I won't be late.
Zack- Thanks Oz. I'll see you Monday bossman. Piece.
