Kat's POV

It was morning when the sun started shining brightly through my window, the light shined on my face which made me groan. I woke up, yawning and stretching being careful not to wake up Zamasu. Looking over at the sleeping kai I couldn't help but smile down at him, I ran my hands through his white mohawk softly. Leaning down I kissed his cheek then got out of bed. Walking in to the bathroom, I looked at myself in the mirror and my smile turned into a frown. I started to exam my face to see if I had anything on there, then I looked down at my stomach, sighing I started to rub it, ' I'm getting fat.......I haven't been training lately, I should start.' With that determination I walked out of the bathroom and to my closet, getting my training clothes on, which consisted of a blue tank top, black shorts, black fingerless gloves, and my orange and black shoes. Looking back at me and Zamasu's bed, I saw that he was stretching out his muscles, yes he was shirtless and every morning I just can't help but stare. Turning his head, he smiled at me.

"Morning Kat."

"Morning Zamasu." He got up and walked over to me and pulled me close to him. His warmth always comforted me, being in his strong arms always made me feel safe and secure. Zamasu trains everyday and gets stronger doing it, I need to as well so I won't become fat........and if I do he may leave me...........

"Why are you dressed like that Kat?" He asked as he pointed to my training outfit.

"Oh this, I'm going to go train for the day."

"You haven't in a while what brought this on?" I cast my eyes downward in sadness. Should I tell him I've been feeling insecure about my body?' I shook my head and waved off his question,

"Just felt like training Zamasu, do you want to join me?" He nodded and started getting dressed in his training gear.

"I'll meet you outside honey." I kissed his cheek then walked out of the room going into the backyard. Going outside I saw that Goku, Black and Vegeta were there, I was confused.

"Hey guys." I waved as I walked towards them. Goku smiled and ran towards me, hugging me tightly.

"Hi Kat!" I giggled and hugged him back. Goku has always been able to cheer me up, with his personality and innocent mind, he always brings a smile to my face. Letting me go he rubbed the top of my head,

" You training Kat?"

"Yes I am." I started to stretch out, I saw Zamasu walking outside, wearing no shirt but wearing his baggy blue pants.

"Hi Zamasu, you ready to train?" Goku asked as he walked over to Zamasu.

"Yes I am." Getting in their fighting stance, they stared at each other waiting for the other person to make the first move, then Zamasu attacked first. Looking back at Black and Vegeta, I asked them if they were training together.

"Yes, me and Black are going to see who's stronger." Vegeta smirked over at Black who smirked as well. Vegeta then powered up to his blue form while Black went rose form.

"Let's see who's stronger Vegeta, and it's going to be me." Black spoke confidently.

"You're on Kakarot wannabe." Then with that they started to go at each other. I sighed lowly rubbing my arm, ' I guess I'll train on my own.....' Walking a good distance away from them, finding a good spot, I got out my phone and turned on the YouTube app. Scrolling through the app I found a good song to train too.

I started to train on my own listening to the song, letting it guide me through my training. Listening to the song, I felt as ease, the words were speaking to me as I imagined fighting a stronger opponent. It was like getting lost in my own mind, getting stronger was important to me, I didn't want to be weak and lazy all my life, and I especially didn't want to feel that way in front of Zamasu, I have to be strong for him. Hitting my imaginary opponent, I could feel my confidence coming back to me, heh you know it's funny being a human everyone thinks your weak, that you can't be strong like all the others but I want to prove them wrong, and with me slacking on training, I've grown soft and a little pudgy, but I need to train hard to be strong like Goku, Vegeta, Black and Zamasu.......I don't want to be a disappointment to them....

"KAT!!!" Snapping out of my mind I heard someone calling my name, when I looked over is aw Zamasu, Goku, Vegeta and Black, all staring at me.

"What do you guys want?" I asked as I wiped my forehead of sweat. Zamasu came up to me and put his hands on my shoulders.

"We've been looking for you for hours, it's night time now." I looked up at the sky and saw the stars are out, the moon the only light in the sky. I stared at them confused.

"I trained the whole day?" They all nodded.

"Yeah, we are worried Kat." Goku said as he stepped closer. I sighed as I rubbed my arm.

"I'm sorry you guys, but I have to train more." I said as I turned away from them.

"WHAT?!?! WHY?!?!?"

"Kat it's late, you need sleep." Zamasu said as he grabbed my arm, I growled and removed my arm from his grasp.

"No, I have to Zamasu."

"Kat......"

"I NEED TO GET STRONGER ZAMASU!!!!" I yelled as tears streamed from my eyes. " I need to train to get better and stronger for you, because this morning when looking in the mirror, I saw that I was gaining a little weight from not training and how soft I was becoming, I didn't want you to think I was weak.....or leave me, that's why I want to train to my limit so I woke be weak to you or everyone else. I-i...... I don't want to be a disappointment to you guys." I sighed as walked over to a lone tree, with my back against it I slid down, bringing my knees close to my chest, I cried. I heard footsteps walking towards me, I looked up and saw Zamasu in front of me.

"Kat....you could never be a disappointment to us." He sat down next to me and wrapped his arm around my back and pulled me close to his side. "And I would never leave you, ever." I looked over at him sniffling.

"Really?"

"Yes Kat, and you don't have to train to the extreme, you're strong already."

"How?"

"Well, you're strong enough to go a whole day training without a break." I laughed softly and wiped my tears away.

"Yea.......I'm sorry about that." He held me closer and kissed my forehead.

"It's ok Kat, just don't do it again okay?" I nodded as we both got up. Wrapping my arms around Zamasu's waist I put my head on his shoulder. Then Goku, Vegeta and Black walked over to us.

"You okay Kat?"

I nodded and snuggled closer to Zamasu, who smiled and snuggled his head close to mine.

"You remind me of myself Kat." I heard Vegeta say, "I too was struggling to get stronger like this clown right here," he said as he pointed to Goku, " But I found someone who always believed I could do it and I tried everyday until I did it, I matched his level and I'm stronger now, you should never give up, reach your goals Kat because it's who you are....a warrior." I smiled as I wiped a stray tear away from my eyes,

"Thank you Vegeta.....it means a lot to me to hear those words." He nodded and patted my shoulder,

"And you could never disappoint us Kat, you're fine, I mean you can train just don't go overboard, okay?" I nodded at Goku and looked over at Black.

"Do you have anything to say Black?"

" If you were getting fat we would tell you." I glared at him as everyone backed away. I stomped my way to him and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt.

"This wasn't just about that Black, I wanted to get stronger too, oh and if you ever call me fat," I pulled him closer to me, " make sure you keep one eye open when you sleep." I then pushed him away. putting on my smile and running back towards Zamasu, snuggling close to him.

"I love you Zamasu."

"I love you too Kat."
