Let your imagination run wild.

You see, one of the reasons why I want to be a fantasy author because I'm not restricted to human qualities, and stuff like that. I can think of absolutely anything, and it will fit in right with fantasy. I mean, look at Elemental Academy.

I inserted the idea that they could control the Elements of the world and aren't human

But of course, you don't have to write like this. What I mean is that you can travel anywhere in your mind, if you have the right mindset.

Don't ever limit yourself because you write in certain genre. You can stretch it out to fit your style of writing.

Like I say, writing what you want gets you further than writing only what the public wants.
