Part 2 — Looking Around

"What if she comes back?"

"I doubt it," Xin said, putting on her right shoe. "Besides, I know her better than you do. My message was worse than yours."

"Right...?"

"Help me if you want, I don't give a fuck," Xin said, opening the door.

"See you then," Zap said. "Have fun."

"Heartless bitch." Xin closed the door behind her, hearing Zap lock the door. She made sure she had the apartment key, then she left for the college. "She'd probably be here..." Xin looked around the entire campus, trying to find Azyra, but she couldn't. "Where is she?" She texted Zap, thinking that maybe that she might've come back to the apartment. No-one here, he texted back.

Xin walked back to the apartment. No use looking for her until I get more information, she told herself. As she opened the door, she saw Zap about to walk out of it. "Where are you going?" she asked.

"Working at Patience today," he replied. "See you tonight."

"Okay..." She watched as Zap walked outside, heading for the restaurant. Strange. I don't have a job, do I? Xin walked upstairs and laid down on her bed. "Ugh... I should go outside... but I don't feel like it." She pulled out her phone and started scrolling through her and Azyra's text history. "Wow... we are two crazy people." She switched to Zap's conversation and scrolled through the same two words that continued to appear. Back soon. "How many times does Zap leave the house without me there? Well then, we sure leave the house unattended..." she sighed as she went to take a nap.
