Part 11 — Peace?

Momoko was walking around the house. It's unusually quiet...and I've only been here for a few weeks. Downstairs, nothing was happening, save for her walking. She went upstairs. Zap's door was ajar, and in his room he was casually reading a book on his bed. "Hey, Zap..."

"Hi there. How are you?"

"I'm fine, I guess. How about you?"

"Good. Not great, but pretty good." Zap went back to reading his book. Momoko walked out of his room and into Xin's. Xin was napping in her bed. In Azyra's room, Azyra was on her phone, reading a digital story. Why is everybody so peaceful today? Momoko walked up to Azyra. "What'cha reading?"

"A fanfiction."

"What kind?"

"Do you have to ask? I thought you knew me."

Momoko cleared her throat and exaggeratedly put up her hands. "A boy x boy fanfiction about Kazuma and Taiyou," she said, momentarily distracted about Cardfight Vanguard.

"Pfft. Not this time. It's actually...okay, it's still a CVG boy x boy, but this time it's just a compilation of many ships."

"Which one are you on?"

"Not important..." Azyra went back to being caught up in her gay fanfics. Momoko sighed and walked back downstairs. I'm confused...is it just a good day? This has never happened... She turned on her phone and checked her messages. "Nothing new..." She locked it and put it back into her pocket. "Nothing's happening...I'm getting bored..." She was prepared to go back up to Azyra to pester her, but she was startled by Zap suddenly jumping down the stairs and running out the door. "Not so peaceful after all...I wonder what happened?"
