Part 9 — Sleeping Arrangement

Took me a while to realize it, but the genders are imbalanced. He didn't see too much of a change when Azyra joined, but now it was three girls. And just him. A single guy.

"Now where am I going to sleep?" Momoko asked, looking at Zap's room and back at Zap.

"Petition to have Zap sleep on the couch," Xin quickly said.

"Me," Azyra said.

"Sure," Momoko followed.

"Wait..." Zap looked at the three hands in the air. "The voting is already unfair from the start and you all know it. Screw this." Zap quickly ran up the stairs and locked himself in his room. Xin was about to go up the stairs when she felt her phone vibrating. "What?"

"Momoko doesn't have to sleep on the couch. Your bed is a queen size, because you took the master's. How about this? Azyra and Momoko can both sleep in your bed, and you can sleep where Azyra sleeps."

"I could probably live with that."

"Yeah, do whatever you want. Everyone can fit on a bed."

"Hopefully..."

"Definitely. Okay, night. Have fun with that!"

"Huh—" Zap hung up. "So... Nobody will sleep on a couch tonight." Xin looked at Momoko, who seemed to have been relieved.

Walking out of Azyra's room at 3 in the morning, Xin woke up to check to see if Azyra and Momoko were okay. There were no issues, she discovered. Satisfied, she went back to sleep.

Momoko woke up to the sound of cooking at 7:30 in the morning. Why is it so early...? She walked downstairs and saw Zap working at the kitchen. "Huh?"
