Part 16 — The Chase

"Why the fuck does she have a gun?!" Zap said, dodging the bullets flying at him. "Just drop it already! I haven't done anything!"

Though she didn't hear what he said, Xin got closer, shouting, "Yeah, you were fucking right, installing those cameras! Now I have everything I need to destroy that bitch! That'll fucking teach her to not mess with me!"

"What the hell does that have to do with me?!" Zap shouted back.

"Shut up!" she yelled, firing another shot.

"Drop that fucking thing! I'm serious!"

"Yeah right, I will!"

"Fuck this!" Zap made a quick stop and switched direction, running towards Xin.

"Shit!" Xin used up all her shots and forgot to bring another magazine. Tossing her gun to the side, she ran towards the college, running in the opposite direction as Zap. "Fuck you!"

Zap began to ran towards the college again but stopped. I don't fucking care how irrational I sound. Now that her gun is gone, I don't need to worry... wait. He ran towards Xin and looked at her closely. He saw a glare from the metal object hidden in her clothing. "Shit! That's a knife!" Grabbing the pistol she threw and reloading it with the extra bullet he had, he ran towards Xin. "Xin! Come back here! You're not getting to Grace before I get to you!"

Xin barely heard his words and looked back. "Don't you fucking dare!" She picked up the pace, with Zap following behind her, her gun in his hand.
