Nandini was sitting in her cabin rolling her chair. She had devilish smirk on her face. Soon someone knocked on her cabin's door. Her smirk grew more.

"Come in." She said. A man around mid thirties entered inside.

"You called me, Ma'am?" He asked standing infront of and smiling a bit. She smiled back at him and spoke sweetly.

"Yes. Have a sit." He nodded and settled.

"So, Mr. Sahil Mittal, I have a very good offer for you. This way, you will be very much in profit. You can work the way you want to. Are you interested?" She asked raising her brows. Sahil was confused yet happy.

"Ma'am, ofcourse I'll love to, but suddenly-"

"Aah, not suddenly Mr. Sahil. This has to happen one or another day. Infact, it should have happened long before, but no worries! Der aaye durust aaye." Nandini said smiling evilly but he was too busy in his happiness to notice it.

"Thank you so much ma'am, I knew I'll get back whatever hard work I have done to achieve success." He said. Nandini laughed.

"Ofcourse, one definitely gets back what he has done. It's your hard work only, who brought you to this situation." She said passing him a letter. He opened it only to get biggest shock of his life.

"Ma'am, what is this?" He asked being shocked. Nandini gave him look.

"Oh I thought you have eyes to read and brain to understand it's meaning. Anyways, I'll tell. It's your suspension letter. You are fired." She spoke in her usual cold tone. He looked at her in shock and then got angry.

"But why? What I did? And you said that I'll be in profit and can do whatever work I'm interested." Nandini smirked.

"Ofcourse. I said truth. See now as I have fired you, you can openly work for Harshad Saxena without hide and sick. He will surely fill your all needs by his money. You won't have to pretend to be my loyal employee and work for me. Isn't it a good news and profitable for you, Mr. Sahil?" Nandini dropped bomb on him and he started sweating.

"Ma'am, wh- what are you-"

"Don't you dare! Don't you dare to lie on my face. You backstabber! You used to help that Saxena secretly. I got to know how you helped him to get those two important tenders which we lost. What did you think? You will do anything in my office and I won't notice? Don't forget I'm NM. I get to know even if anyone of you sneeze at your place. And here you did such a big fraud. How bloody dare you?" Nandini banged her fist on table loudly shouting at him. He flinched a little but glared at her.

"Yes I did. So what huh? I want to be a millionaire which I won't be if I work like machine for your this company. But Saxena was giving me lakhs just to make some silly mistake in your shits. And I believe money is everything. This honesty and all is a shit. It doesn't make you rich." Nandini chuckled hearing him.

"Ofcourse. It won't give anything to the bastard like you. So before I make this issue big by involving police in this matter, get out of my office." Nandini spoke coldly. He fumed.

"I'll tell Abhimanyu Sir. I'm his trusted employee from day one. He doesn't trust you anyways." He gave her winning smile saying this. She clenched her fist tight.

"You don't have to tell me about my own brother. You can go and tell any person on this earth but you won't be able to change my decision. And yeah, I forgot to inform, as you don't need my salary now so I have cleared all your bank accounts. Now you don't have single penny of this company. Now go and enjoy with your boss Saxena. Out!" Nandini said sitting back on her chair and started working on her laptop.

"You are doing wrong, NM. You will regret." He threatened.

"Oh and you think I'll sit on couch watching the show?" Ansh said entering in the scene. Behind him Manik too entered. Both glared at him and Nandini sighed. Ansh moved to him dangerously and slapped him twice across his face. Manik also had cold expressions.

"How dare you to threaten her? Do you know to whom you are talking? That's my sister. I love her as my own child and you think I'll let you harm her in any way?" Ansh said dangerously.

"Enough. Just enough. You guys are doing wrong. When Abhimanyu sir will get to know this, you all have to answer. And what proofs you have about my crimes ah?" Nandini smirked.

"Mr. Sahil, relax. If you have forgotten in your anger then let me remind you. Sometime before, you only confessed everything infront of me. I have recorded it and also, not to forget CCTVs in my cabin. What more proofs you want?" Sahil got scared but still tried to hide it.

"You can't do anything to me." Ansh and Manik gave him hard glares while Nandini chuckled.

"Of course not. And it was you who threatened not me, if you remember. But my offer is limited. So move your ass out of my office. Now." Said Nandini with serious expressions while Manik and Ansh looked at her with shock.

"How can you let him go like this Nandini? He just now threatened you openly." Manik said with greeted teeths.

"He should be handed to police Nandi, what the hell are you doing?" Ansh said angrily going near her. Nandini looked at them and blinked her eyes.

"I guess you heard me loud and clear Sahil, leave before I change my mind." Nandini said and he left banging door hard.

"You have totally lost it Nandini Murthy!" Manik spoke running his hand in hairs being frustrated. Ansh too moved towards couch and rested throwing his head back.

"Bhai, Manik. You both don't have to worry. He won't do anything. That was just a false threat." She said to which Manik gave her unbelievable look.

"False threat? Like seriously? Did you even see how he was looking at you? Hell, you are trusting him after this chaos? Can't believe." Manik said raising his hands. Nandini sighed and looked at Ansh.

"Bhai atleast-"

"There's nothing to understand Nandi. Manik is right. You are doing wrong. He is with Harshad. He is dangerous, baby. You should have just handed him to police." Ansh said worriedly.

"Your sister don't have brains, Ansh. She just sold it on OLX I guess." Manik spoke with his gritted teeths. Nandini chuckled. He growled.

"Don't laugh. You are taking it too lightly, Murty!" He said worriedly. Nandini sighed.

It has been 2 weeks now since Manan become friends. Though Nandini wasn't much comfortable at start, Manik made it easy for her. Office talks, jokes, teasings were common between them. There friendship was blooming as well as Manik's feelings.

All the while, Ansh observed Manik and Nandini closely. He could see Manik has feelings for his sister. Manik was a gentleman. His behaviour towards his sister said it all. Manik was the best guy his baby could get. He saw how Nandini used to behave with Manik. He seemed to be her comfort place. She was opening up to him. He could see how she looked at him. He was sure, his baby is going to fall deep in love with Manik. He was genuinely very happy about it.

Ansh and Manik also developed a strong bond of friendship in between them. Ansh, got the best friend and another brother in the form of Manik. They were like two crazy best friends. More than Nandini, Ansh was closer to Manik. They always shared everything with each other.

"Listen here guys. I know you both are worried for me. But that's baseless. The thing I'm trying to tell you is he's all beggar now. Don't have a single penny. And that Saxena, he was using him to get information about our deals. If he's not in office then he's not useful to him. Do you think now he'll throw lakhs on him and give him place in his company? Hell no! He'll just kick his ass off and that's how his punishment will be. He will beg on roads because job toh usey kisi company mei nahi milegi iska pura intezam maine kar diya hai. He will be left all alone. He himself will be in need of everything so he can't do anything to me. Just relax." Nandini said to which Ansh just shook his head.

"Relax? How can you be so sure about this, haan? Are you any fortune teller or mind reader? What if that bastard uses him against you and do something. How will we know dammit!" Manik said angrily. Nandini moved to him.

"Manik, try to understand he-"

"No, you understand Nandini! You are doing wrong. You have lost it." Saying this Manik stormed out of her cabin. Ansh tried to stop him.

"Manik, buddy listen, arey-"

"This guy always has to behave so impulsive. Kitna jor jor se daatta hai. Monster kahika." Nandini said angrily. Ansh chuckled. She glared at him.

"Sorry behena, but this time your monster isn't wrong. I totally agree with him." Ansh said seriously. Nandini sighed.

"What does she think of herself?" Manik said pacing in his room angrily like a lion. Cabir was sitting on bed looking at him dryly.

"The NM." Cabir said. Manik gave him monstrous look. He smiled and replied stammering.

"I mean, she is NM na. So she will think herself as NM only." Manik rolled his eyes.

"Cabirrrrrrr.." Cabir just fake smiled and left from there running. Manik again started pacing around.

"What is she? Jhansi ki rani? Iron woman? Sab kuch apne risk par karna hai madam ko. That jerk threatened her openly and all she has to do is let him go. Like seriously?" Manik said angrily.

"She must have thought something, Manik. Don't forget she's the NM. She knows what's right and wrong. She isn't sitting on MD chair just like that." Niyonika said entering in his room with a dinner. Manik growled.

"No Mom, this time she's taking it too lightly. That Harshad Saxena, he's a bastard. He can do anything to gain money and take revenge. He has enemity with her from last 3 years." Manik voiced out his worry. Niyonika sighed and made him sit on bed. She started feeding him dinner while speaking.

"Manik, you should explain all this to her calmly. Don't behave impulsive. And also, tighten her securities. If you find any suspicious things then without delay take action against those people. Believe yourself, Manik. I know you will protect her." Niyonika said smiling. Manik let out a suffering sigh.

"Haan aur mei, mei vaha movie lagake popcorn khate baithunga. Kya Niyo maa, you don't trust me only." Ansh said entering in Manik's room and sat down keeping head on her lap. Niyonika smiled caressing his head.

Ansh developed good bond with Malhotras. He used to visit them very often. Niyonika is a mother figure to him.

"Tu toh chup hi baith. You can't even make your stupid sister understand. Drama king." Manik said beating his head. Ansh winced and pouted looking at Niyonika.

"Aisa bhi kabhi ho sakta hai? I trust you both with my daughter's safety. I know my both sons will never let any harm come near her. Especially you, Anshu." She said lovingly. Ansh looked at her emotionally.

"Nandi will be so much happy to know that she has a mother who worries and cares for her so much. Who loves her so much even without meeting her. She-" he chokes in middle.

Manik immediately sat on his knees side hugging him. Niyonika patted his head.

"Arey buddy, pagal hai kya. Why are you crying. This is happy time, no? Nandini is getting what she deserves." Manik said softly. Niyonika nodded. Ansh sniffed. Suddenly his phone rang.

"Yes Suresh, say."

"What? Why? What happened?"

"Where's Nandi?"

"Keep me updated. I'm coming."

Ansh ended the call and got up hurriedly. Manik and Niyonika looked at him worriedly.

"What happened Ansh. Everything fine?" Manik asked worriedly. Ansh nodded in no frantically.

"Bhai and Nandi are having fight. I have to go."

Said Ansh to which Manik and Niyonika got confused and worried too.
