Backstory: Matrix was born with a very rare disease called Glitch Syndrome. A form of indirect Ether corruption caused by his mother having a small buildup of Ether corruption. When he was 5 it got really bad and he went to a special hospital that specialized in diseases related to Ether corruption. In his time there he was able to manage his Glitch Syndrome well. But the doctors didn't want the disease to just be manageable they wanted it completely cured. So instead of further treatments they started experimenting on Matrix to not only enhance him so that he would be immune to Ether corruption but so that his Glitch Syndrome would be cured. What the doctors didn't know is that they were slowly making it worse instead of curing it. So one night Matrix broke out of the hospital taking a contraband chainsaw sword with him to help him get out. Once out he was found by a man. Who asked Matrix to call him Director Falcon. Director Falcon brought Matrix to his orphanage making Matrix the Falcon Orphanage's first child. There Director Falcon informed Matrix that his parents were old friends of the orphanage and if anything were to happen to them they wanted Director Falcon to take Matrix in. So Matrix being at the orphanage meant that something had happened to his parents. Director Falcon trained and raised Matrix and had him help gather more children who are lost and alone. Matrix also made it his personal mission to help get money for the orphanage by doing odd jobs. Even if that meant going into Hollows.
