Continued...

At night,

Monami was sitting in the garden with expression less face, a paper burning infront of her eyes. The paper burnt completely and again darkness seized the area.

Karan was passing by when he saw Monami sitting in the garden in darkness. He looked upwards towards the sky. The moon was hid behind the dark clouds surrounding it. Suddenly, he felt restless.

Monami in that darkness was nearly not visible. He hid behind the pillar to watch her actions. She got up, went and hugged the tree. He smiled a little but soon his expression changed when he saw Rawat staring at her from distance.

He wasn't confused but angry. He knew how much Rawat hated his brother. He had many times tried to suspend him, He had even tried killing his brother. Had he succeeded in killing him?

Rawat was watching some video recordings, in which Faizi and Karan were talking to each other. He smirked.

"Shergill, aab toh tumhe mere raaste se hatne se koi nahi rok sakta. Lekin ek baat abhi bhi mere samajh mein nahi aa rahi ki kya Karan Shergill itna bewakoof hai ki itni asani se aapne aap ko suspend kara dega?", He thought.

His chain of thoughts  broke when there was a knock on the room door. He got up closing the laptop and opened the door to found a surprising sight.

Yup, it was Monami. Rawat was way more suprised to see her.

"Aab aap mujhe aaise shock ke saath dekhte hi rahenge ya andar bhi bulaenge?", Monami asked with a smirk on her face.

Rawat recovered from the shock and nodded. Monami came inside and Rawat closed the door.

"Aab jaldi batao ki kya kaam se ayi ho yaha?", Rawat asked rudely.

"Are Kamal hai yaha main aapke profit ke liye ayi hun aur aap hai ki mujhse rudely baat kar rahe hai...", Monami said smiling.

Rawat came near her.

"Kehte hai ki jab bhi khubsurat ladkiyan haas kar baat karti hai tab voh kuch na kuch bura jarur hota hai", Rawat said smiling.

Monami chuckled.

"Mujhe toh samajh hi nahi aa raha ki aap mujh par shak kar rahe hai yah mere saath flirt kar rahe hai", Monami said smiling.

Monami wasn't a fool not to understand his tone. His tone was suspicious. Ofcourse, why would he believe her?

"Lagta hai aap bhool gaye hai ki maine Karan Shergill ke khilaf statement diya hai...", Monami said raising her eyebrows.

"Sirf uske khilaf statement dene se tum mere khilaf koi sazish nahi kar rahi ho yah age nahi karogi iska koi bharosa nahi hai. Tum kya mujhe yakin dila sakti ho ki tum mujhe kabhi dokha nai dogi?", Rawat asked smirking.

"Kya saboot chahiye aapko? Main kuch bhi karne ke liye taiyar hun jo aap kehte ho", Monami said confidently.

"Lekin, meri madat karne mein tumhe kya fayda ho sakta hai?"

"Mera fayda hoga na Voh Khadus Mr. Karan Shergill iss academy se nikal jayega. Aaj tak bohot pareshan kiya hai usne mujhe aab main pura badla lungi", Monami said angrily.

"Thik hai tumhe baas yeh karna hai ki Karan ke kamre mein tumhe ek blueprint milega baas tumhe vahi churana hai. Agar tumne voh blueprint mujhe de diya toh main tumhare upar Bharosa kar sakta hun", Rawat said.

"Fine! Voh blueprint tumhe kal tak mil jayega"

Monami said and left the room. Rawat smirked.

"Aab tumhara sab kuch chin jayega Mr. Shergill. Lekin abhi bhi mujhe savdhan rehna hoga...", Rawat thought.

Karan and Faizi were talking to each other when Karan's phone beeped. He took the phone and smiled. Faizi too smiled understanding it. They both looked at each other and then glanced outside the window, and saw Monami standing.

She smiled and shown thumbs up to them. Karan smiled as his plan was successful.

Flashback ( After Koel and Rawat's conversation )

Faizi and Karan looked at each other and then at Koel who was sitting infront of them; head down, sweat beads on her forehead, tears in her eyes. She was shivering too. Both easily understood that she was scared.

"Dekho Koel tumhe darne ki jarurat nahi hai. Jo bhi hai saaf saaf batao.", Karan said.

"Voh Ambar Rawat...  Voh sahi nahi hai... Voh mujhe.. maar dega...", She said fearfully.

Karan and Faizi both were shocked.

"Voh tumhe kyu maar dega? Aur tum usse kasie jaanti ho?", Faizi asked sitting beside her.

Koel started crying and held Faizi's hand tightly.

"Voh Rawat mere fianceé  ka cousin hai... Mera fianceé aur voh Milkar mujhe blackmail... Kar rahe hai... Unhone... Mujhe dhamki bhi di ki agar maine unka kaam nahi kiya toh voh mere mom dad ko maar denge...", Speaking she cried again.

Faizi wrapped his arm around her to calm her. Karan and Faizi shared a confused look.

"Par unhone tumhe yaha kyu bheja hai? Koi toh vajah hogi na...", Karan said.

"Ha, actually, voh log mujhse yaha ke documents ko chori karne ke liye bheja hai. Aur aaj hi voh mujhse sabke rooms mein camera aur microphone bhi lagvane vale hai. Unka plan tha yeh sab. Usne dokha diya mujhe. Sagai ek agli vali raat ko voh log mere ghar mein guns lekar aa gaye aur unhone mujhe yeh kaam diya... Agar... Agar maine unka kaam nahi kiya toh voh hum sab ko maar denge...", Koel said horrified.

"Matlab konse documents?"

"Pata nahi... Lekin kuch mission se related. Aur ha... Kuch blueprint bhi hai...", Koel said and their eyes widened.

"Are you sure ki Rawat sir kisi blueprint ki baat kar rahe the?", Karan asked.

"Haa...", Koel cried out and dug her face in Faizi's chest while Karan and Faizi looked at each other.

Monami was walking in the hallway thinking about the reason for Karan's lie. When a strong arm pulled her inside a room. She was startled for a moment but soon recognised the touch.

It was Karan. Their first meet after Hospital incident. Monami and Karan shared an eyes lock but soon they both realised their position and Monami pushed him away.

"Karan sir yeh kya kar rahe hai aap? ", Monami asked angrily. "Ek toh aapne Colonel sir se jhoot bola ki aapne Chirag ko goli maari upar se aaise mujhe room mein kyu kich rahe hai?", Monami asked another time.

Karan rolled his eyes.

"Kya? Aaisa expression kyu de rahe ho?", Monami asked annoyed.

Karan placed his palm on her mouth. Monami was shocked.

"Tumhare muh mein koi tape lagi hai kya? Kitna bolti ho tum?", Karan asked.

Monami looked away and gestured towards his hand. He removed his hand from her mouth.

"Aab kuch bolo bhi...", Monami said.

"Meri baat dhyaan se suno Monami. Meri baat puri karne se phele aapna muh band rakhna. Maine Chirag ko goli maarne vala jhoot isiliye bola kyuki mujhe Rawat ko yaha lana tha. Maine Koel ko Rawat se baat karte hue suna tha toh maine Koel se baat ki for the same. Aur usne bataya ki...", Karan narrated everything to her.

"Toh aab aap kya karana chahte hai mujhse? Aur aapne mujhe yeh sab kyu bataya. Aap toh mere upar Bharosa nahi karte hai...", Monami said.  "Kya bola tha ha ‘Main kyu bharosa karu tumhare upar. Mujhe tumhare iss timepass mein interest nahi hai", Monami taunted mimicking Karan and stressing the word 'timepass'.

Karan grew silent. Monami was more annoyed due to his silence.

"Nahi hai koi jawab. Pata tha mujhe. Toh aap na kisi aaise ko dhund lijiye jispar aap ankh band kar ke bhi bharosa kar sake."

Monami said and was gonna leave when Karan held her arm and pulled her back. He pinned her to wall...
