A two boys walked inside a room where a girl was fast asleep. They smiled at the way she was sleeping. Her arms and legs were dangling off the bed and she was laying on her chest with her mouth slightly open.

Ransh and Rayan glance at each other and then walked towards Radhika's bed and sat on either sides of it. Rayan ran a hand through Radhika's hair in order to wake her up.

Rayan: "Ridhu wake up."

Radhika (sleepy): "Kya hai bhaiya? It's like 5 in the morning." (What is it brother? It's like 5 in the morning.)

Ransh: "Ridhu it's not 5 but in fact, it is 7:30 in the morning. And get up now, it's Mom's birthday today."

As soon as Radhika heard that, she shot up from the bed in frantic manner. Rayan and Ransh both laugh when she moves the hair from her face to reveal her face.

Radhika: "Oh ya, chalo, jaldi chalo." (Oh ya, let's go, hurry up.)

Rayan and Ransh laugh when they see Radhika literally jump out of the bed, and tuck her hair into a messy bun. They follow Radhika while she runs towards Ranak's room.

Ranak's bedroom

The three walked into Ranak's bedroom to see that he had his curtains closed around his bed. Radhika ran and open almost all the curtains in his room by the main touch switch. Light fell on Ranak's face causing his sleep to be disturbed.

Ranak (lazily): "Kya bhai ap toh neend ke be dushman ban gaye. Pehle shooting karke itna tak gayeya hoon, kal shooting ka last day tha." (What is this brother, you have become the enemy of my sleep now. First I came back from the shooting, extreme tired, yesterday was the last day of shooting the movie.)

Ransh (buttering him): "Okay look, its Mom's birthday and if you get up now then I will gift you the sports you have been asking for."

Ranak huffs and then raises his arms towards Rayan and Ransh, indicating that they pull him out of the bed. The four race towards their mother's room in order to find out, who wishes her first.

Gauri's room

The four walk in to see their mother sleeping on the sofa with files surrounding her. She still had her clothes on from yesterday and her pumps were still on. They walked towards her and circled around her, to yell:

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

Gauri woke up startled by the loud voices. She couldn't understand what was happening around her for a few seconds before she gazed around her to see her babies standing beside her.

Ransh, Ranak, Rayan, Radhika: "Happy Birthday Mom."

Gauri smiled and pulled her babies into a warm hug. They always made her smile, no matter what the circumstances were. She knew they loved her a lot and she also could die for them if she had to.

Gauri: "Thank you my babies."

Rayan: "Okay Mom ab aap taiyaar ho jao, kyuki apka breakfast ready hai and aap wait kar raha hai." (Okay Mom now you go freshen up, because your breakfast is ready and waiting for you.)

Gauri (smiles): "Okay and tum sab bhi jake fresh ho jao." (Okay and you all also go and freshen up.)

The four leave to give Gauri her privacy and to also get their gifts ready. The four had to look their best. As soon as the four left, Gauri cleaned her papers and then went to get started with her day.

The dining room

Rayan, Radhika, Ranak and Ransh waited for their mother to show up at the dining table. Rayan had prepared his special dish, Crispy Breakfast Pita. They all looked up when their mother walked into the room.

Gauri took her seat while the kids served her breakfast. Radhika buttered Gauri's bread, while Ransh poured a fresh glass of pomegranate juice. Rayan placed his dish in front of Gauri, whereas Ranak handed her napkin and her silverware.

Gauri: "Tum sab bhi baitho." (You all sit as well.)

Rayan: "No Mom, aap apna breakfast shuru kijiye and hum sab abhi apke birthday gifts lekar aate hai." (No Mom, you get started on your breakfast while we go get your birthday gifts.)

Gauri noticed and took a bite out of her breakfast while the four ran off their rooms to get their gifts. Gauri saw that the three came back with gifts whereas Rayan came back empty handed.

Radhika: "Sabse pehle hum Mom ko gift dege." (I will give my present to Mom first.)

Ranak: "But kyu, main pehle doonga." (But why, I will give it to her first.)

Radhika: "Nhi hum chote hai issi liye hum dege." (No, I am the youngest so I will give it to her first.)

Ranak knew he couldn't argue back to that but he tried and before he could even say anything, Radhika had already presented her gift to Gauri. Her gift was quite heavy and the box was also a large one.

When Gauri opened that box, she saw every Apple product; A mac book air, an iPad Pro, an iPhone, a Watch, Airpods and Beats headphones. Gauri looked at Radhika in shock, this must have cost her around £25,000.

Gauri: "Baby what is this?"

Radhika: "Mom, I went to the Apple store but I couldn't decide what to buy for you so I brought all the products. And maine na apko Apple tv and Disney + ka subscription bhi lekar diya hai and inn sab pe Apple care bhi hai." (Mom, I went to the Apple store but I couldn't decide what to buy for you so I brought all the products. And I also got you the subscription of Apple tv and Disney + and all these products have Apple care.)

Gauri: "Thank you again Baby."

Radhika: "You're welcome."

Ranak: "Ab meri baari." (Now my turn.)

Ranak didn't even care if any protested, he literally pushed Radhika out of his way and then placed the gift, he got his mother in front of her. Radhika glared at him while all he did was pass her a sheepish smile. Gauri opened Ranak present.

Ranak's present was a beautiful Gucci hand bag, because he thought that it would be nice and also because it looked really cool. He was shopping with his gf when he saw this bag and so he brought it for his mother.

Ranak: "So do you like it?"

Gauri: "It's beautiful, baby. Thank you."

Ransh: "Now can I present my gift."

Everyone looks towards Ransh, who is holding a medium sized gift in his hands. Ranak moved and Ransh presented his gift to Gauri. He opened it for her, only for her to a canvas.

Ransh's gift was beautiful painting of his mother. This was the day his mother came to one of his exhibitions to surprise him. It was an exhibition that was occurring in Germany and so she travelled to Germany to surprise him.

Ransh: "Happy Birthday Mom."

Gauri: "Thank you, I love it."

Everyone turns to Rayan, who has nothing in his hands. Rayan smiles and walks towards his mother. Rayan pulls his sleeve up to show Gauri her birthday present.

Gauri ran her thumb over the tattoo he got. She looked up at him with tears in her eyes. She couldn't believe that he loved her this much to get a permanent ink on his body just because of her.

Gauri: "Kitna dard huha hoga, Baby." (It must have hurt a lot, Baby.)

Rayan: "Nhi Mom. Main apke baare mein soch raha tha and jab aap ho toh dard ki meri life mein koi jagah nhi." (No Mom. I was thinking about you and when you are here then pain doesn't even hold a spot in my life.)

Gauri cupped his cheeks and placed a kiss on his forehead. She extended her arms to the rest and soon everyone was engaged in a family hug. And that is when Ransh tried to lighten the mood.

Ransh: "Guys, moment nikal gaya." (Guys, the moment is gone.)

Radhika: "Yeah pehle emotional tha." (Yeah before it was emotional.)

Ranak: "Ab awkward hai." (Now it is awkaward.)

Everyone laughs and they place the gifts away. All take their seats and serve breakfast to themselves. They all start eating and Gauri looks at them lovingly.

Gauri: "Waise mere pass bhi ek gift hai." (By the way, I also have a gift.)

Rayan: "What is it Mom?"

Gauri: "Well main ek bohat badi company takeover kar rahi hoon." (Well I am taking over a big company.)

Ransh: "Mom yeh toh apke liye normal hai." (Mom that is normal for you.)

Gauri: "Duffer mujhe poora karne toh de." (Idiot let me complete.)

Ranak (smacking Ransh): "Ap bolo mom yeh toh pagal hai." (Yoy tell us Mom, he is crazy.)

Gauri: "Toh woh company India mein hai aur hum aaj raat ko India ja rahe hai." (So that is in India and we are going to India tonight.)

Radhika: "What! Really?"

Radhika, Ransh, and Ranak the three hug Gauri while Rayan just sits their with a sad look on his face. Gauri looks at Rayan confused as to why he looks sad and even Ranak, Ransh and Radhika are confused.

Gauri: "Ray baby, kya huha?" (Ray baby, what happened?)

Rayan: "Mom, I think you forgot that aaj main raat ko New York vapas jaa raha hoon." (Mom, I think you forgot but I am going back to New York tonight.)

Gauri: "Oh I am so sorry baby. You know what I will just call the Columbia University and ask them to excuse you."

Rayan: "No Mom, its alright. You all go for now and I will join you guys later."

Ranak: "Are you sure Ray bro?"

Rayan: "Absolutely."

Radhika: "Okay everyone, I must leave now. I have an important meeting with an music producer and his label."

Rayan: "Good luck, Ridhu."

Ranak: "Good luck."

Ransh: "Best wishes Ridz."

Gauri: "Bye baby, have fun and best of luck."

Radhika walks over to Gauri who kisses Radhika's forehead and Radhika kisses Gauri's cheeks before leaving. The rest also excuse themselves as they have to free their schedule for tonight. Gauri remains seated at the table.

Gauri (in her mind): "They seemed so happy. I will talk to Rayan's university about excusing him. But overall, I am taking them back to India and I don't care if I meet Omkara Singh Oberoi.
