Chapter 22:

Rayan, Radhika, Ranak, and Ransh walk in the dining room and saw everyone waiting for them at the dining table. Even though Rayan was calm but in the back of his mind, he still had a fear of not being accepted. 

What do you except for a boy who has been a father figure to his siblings but has never seen his father? He took a deep breath and sat down beside Ransh, who was busy serving himself. All started eating except Rayan. As Omkara was about to put a morsel of food in his mouth, he noticed that Rayan was just staring at his plate.

Omkara: "Rayan beta, khao na." (Rayan dear, eat na.)

Rayan lifts his head from the plate to his father. He didn't know himself why he was staring in space. He was thinking about all the negative aspects and what would happen. Will his father throw him out of the house and never lets him meet his mother and siblings.

Rayan: "I-woh actually..."

Radhika: "Arrey bhai ka toh right hand injured tha na and bhai cannot move his hand for some time." (Oh Rayan bhai's right hand is injured and he cannot move his hand for some time.)

Gauri: "Oh haan, ek kaam karte hai, Rayan main tumhae khila do." (Oh yeah, let's do one thing, Rayan I will feed you.)

Omkara: "Koi zaroorat nhi hai Jaan, main khila dekhta ho, aakhir main apne bade bete se itne saalon baad mil raha hoon." (There is no need for it Jaan, I will feed him. He is my eldest son and I'm meeting him after so many years.)

Ransh, who was sitting beside Rayan, smiles and quickly hops off his seat, handing it over to Omkara to sit. Ransh takes a seat between his sister and mother while Omkara sat on Ransh's spot.

Rayan all this while was just shocked and looked at his father with a longing in his eyes for him. Omkara smiles and takes a morsel of food and Rayan eats it.

Gauri was smiling and looking lovingly at the father-son duo. Gauri looks at everyone and signals them to leave with her. All nod and walk out the dining room leaving Omkara and Rayan alone.

Silence engulfed the room. Both were just looking at each other. One has a longing in his eyes and the other had admiration in his eyes for his son. Tears stained Rayan's cheeks.

He wraps his arms around his father as his weeping got louder and tears made their way down his cheeks. Omkara smiles softly and takes Rayan in a warm fatherly hug. They just stood there as Rayan emptied his heart and all the feelings and emotions he had for his father.

Omkara felt an emotion overpowering his face and soon he was crying in the embrace. After both empty their hearts, both break the hug.

Rayan: "I am so-so sorry, maine apki tshirt kharab kardi. Mujhe apko hug hi nahi karna chahiye." (I am so-so sorry, I ruined your tshirt. I shouldn't have hugged you.)

Omkara: "Rayan, it's okay you-"

Rayan (cutting Omkara): "Nahi, meri galti hai." (No, it's my fault.)

Omkara pulls Rayan in an embrace and starting stroking his hair and patting his back. Rayan was so confused about his own behaviour.

First, he is crying his heart out and the next minute he is apologizing and criticizing himself. He has never doubted or criticized himself but this is the first time, he showed so many emotions.

Omkara pulls away and pats Rayan's cheek. Rayan, who was starting in space and thinking about what just happened, looked at father with wide eyes. His father lets out a chuckle as he looks at him.

Omkara: "Tumhari koi galti nahi hai Rayan and I am proud of you. Tumne itne saalon tak Ransh, Ranak and Radhika ki life mein meri kami puri ki. And you did a great job." (It's not your fault and I am proud of you. You for so many years filled my spot in Ransh, Ranak and Radhika's life. And you did a great job.)

Rayan: "You really are proud of me?"

Omkara: "Of course, why wouldn't I? I am happy that you are my eldest son and you have such great values."

Rayan: "I-I just did what I thought you would have done, take care of Ransh, Ranak and Radhika."

Omkara: "And you did a great job, Ray."

Rayan: "Kya kaha apne?" (What did you say?)

Omkara: "Maine tumhe Ray bulaya, kyu main apne bache ko uske nickname se nahi bula sakhta." (I called you Ray, why can't I call you by your nickname.)

Rayan hugs his father. He had so many emotions swirling in his heart. He just had so many things to say to his father. He wanted to show his father, everything he had achieved; all the awards and medals and everything. Tell his father about everything he had missed in their lives.

Rayan: "I missed you Dad."

Omkara (smiles): "I missed you too my boy but now that we are together, you will tell me about everything I missed in your life and all that you have accomplished."

Rayan: "I will Dad. I just want you to know that I have no hate against you."

Omkara: "I know and now let's go sab wait kar rahe hoge. You have to help me win back Ransh, Ranak and your mom." (I know and now let's go, everyone must be waiting. You have to help me win back Ransh, Ranak and your mother.)

Rayan: "But dad why not Radhika?"

Voice: "Kyuki bhaiya, main toh already Dad ki side pe hoon." (Because brother, I am already on Dad's side.)

Radhika, who had heard everything was standing there with tears in her eyes. She heard everything that went on between the father-son duo. Rayan who was confused looked from his sister towards his father. He saw both of them exchanging a smile.

Rayan: "Dad, Ridz, kya huha hai?" (Dad, Ridz, what happened?)

Radhika: "Bhai woh..." (Actually brother...)

Radhika explained everything that happened before Rayan came here. She also expressed how she is confident that they will convince their mother and brothers.

Radhika: "Bhai kya aap humhare saath ho?" (Brother are you gonna help us?)

Rayan (smiles): "Of course I will help you and let me tell you ki Ransh is easy to convince so we should start with him."

Omkara: "Perfect! Ab chale warna tumhari mom na mujhe ek jhamp mein deewar pe sata degi." (Perfect! Now let's go before your mom slaps me hard.)

Rayan & Radhika: "Deew-Deewar pe kya Dad?" (Wal-Wall what Dad?)

Omkara: "Come on don't tell me tumhari mom ka famous dialogue nahi pata?" (Come on don't tell me that you guys don't know the famous dialogue of your mom?)

Rayan: "What! Yeh mom ka dialogue hai?" (What! This is mom's dialogue?)

Radhika: "I can never imagine Mom saying that dialogue ever."

Rayan: Dad, tell us more about mom, and how she used to be?"

Omkara: "Well tum dono ko main Goa mein bataoga. Ek kaam karna, aaj raat jab hum Goa mein hoge toh hum sab Rayan ke room mein milege." (Well I will tell you guys everything in Goa. Do one thing, at night when we arrive in Goa, we will meet in Rayan's room.)

Rayan & Radhika: "Okay dad."

Omkara: "Ab chalo." (Now let's go.)

The trio walks out of the dining room and makes their way outside, where everyone was waiting for them already. All smiled when they saw the three walk out with their bags. They felt that something has changed and they knew that it was a good change. 

Maanik: "Finally, pata hai apko Ray bhai hum kitne time se wait kar rahe hai." (Finally, you have no clue for how long we were waiting for.)

Rayan: "Sorry yaar, woh actually Dad ke saath kuch time spend kar raha tha." (Sorry dude, I was actually spending some time with Dad.)

Gauri, who was glancing at her phone lifts her head up and glares at Omkara, who just smirks at her. All smile at the bond that is starting to build between Omkara and Rayan.

Dadi: "Ab chalo jaldi, late ho raha hai." (Now hurry up, we are getting late.)

All nod and make their way inside the bus. Omkara sat down by the window and was waiting for his wife to sit down beside him. As Gauri go onto the bus, she was looking for a place to sit while Omkara signs Rayan, who was standing behind Gauri and slightly pushes her so she lands on Omkara's lap.

Both stare into each other's eyes. Gauri had her arms wrapped around his neck as she sat on his thighs. She was trying to free herself but Omkara grips her waist and pulls her closer making his 'crotch' press against her 'area'. 

Thank God, they were sitting at the very back and no one was looking at them. Gauri let out a soft moan as Omkara grasps her flesh in between her teeth. She tightens her grip around his neck pulling him even closer. 

Gauri: "Om-Omkaraji kya kar rahe hai aap?" (Om-Omkaraji, what are you doing?)

Omkara who was busy romancing with his wife smiles against her skin. He mumbles against her skin making shivers run down her spine,

"Apne biwi ke saath time spend kar raha ho." (I am spending time with my wife.)

Omkara pulls Gauri closer, laying her head on his chest. He encircles his arms around her body. One stroking her hair and the other wrapped around her waist. 

Gauri relaxes in his embrace and spreads her legs out. She leans against Omkara's figure and intertwines their hands together. Omkara places a kiss on her forehead before both soon doze off.
