Dear Diary,
I'm very sorry to disturb you again. But I have a huge crush on this guy next door called Capricorn. I know I've been talking a lot about him these days but I don't know if he likes me or not. He's very athletic; always top player in every sport, won many awards from tournaments, and he is the leader of the Athletic Council. He wouldn't like me. I'm only a nerd after all.

Cap's Diary:
Hey Diary!
Today was AWESOME! I scored the winning goal for my team and my team have been selected to go to the championships! Though I wish Aqua was there.... Aqua is this super nice and funny girl next door. I really like her! She's the smartest in the class, won many awards for her assignments, and always gets the top marks in the school. She wouldn't like me. I'm only an athlete after all.

I've been pacing around my room anxiously for awhile now. It's already time! WHERE IS HE?!

Capricorn, my neighbour and childhood friend, would always text me at night. We would chat about school, sports, and other nonsense then we would wave to each other in the window and go to sleep.

There is a HUGE test tomorrow I have to study for! If he doesn't text me soon....

Just then, my phone lit up.

Message from Cap: Hey Aqua!😋 Whatcha doin?

I fumbled around with my phone and quickly typed out a message.

Aqua: Hi Cap! Nothing much, just studying. How's life?🙂

I did a face-phone. That message just ruined my chances with getting him to like me.

Cap: Guess what! My team got invited to the championships after today's match! Though I wish you were there to watch me play....

Aqua: Next time! I promise!

Cap: Heh, thx! BTW It's nearly Gemini's B-Day! What should I get her?😛

I silently raged. Gemini is Cap's *throws up* girlfriend. Or should I say Capricorn is Gemini's 13th boyfriend. I don't understand why Capricorn would like her! She just hops from one boy to another! But either ways I gave him a truthful answer.

Aqua: Um.... I dunno. Maybe a stuffed animal? Or a necklace? Cupcakes?

Cap: Oooo thx! I'll keep dat in mind! GTG to bed! Goodnight!😴

Aqua: Goodnight😊

I began typing more... I love you❣... And send! But my fingers stayed above the send button hesitantly. What would he think of me? Would he hate me?

Oh well. I closed my phone with the unsent message. Maybe another day.

He waved at me through the window and I smiled back. With that, he closed the windows and I went to bed.

I woke up the next day with my alarm clock SCARING THE HELL OUTTA ME and my hair looking like a bird landed on it, made a nest, and had a dance party with Pink Fluffy Unicorns. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO TIDY THIS UP! I better look good otherwise Cap might hate me more.... Ugh... All this DRAMA.....

I left the house and met up with Cap. We usually walk to school together. There was a construction thingy on my usually route to school and Cap was scared of the hole they dug (*cough cough references ParanoidPeanutfish *) so we walked the LONGGGG way to school. Long as in AROUND THE WORLD TWICE. But alls good. At least I got to talk to him more.

School was pretty normal. Homework. Tests. Projects. Studying. They also had an announcement that there'll be a dance tomorrow. And tickets are on sale for $5 at lunch. I quickly gathered all my stuff and ran to the ticket line the second the bell rang.

And the ticket line was GOD LONG. Like so LONG the line circled around the school, went outside, and the end of the line was where my house is. I saw Cap running to the gym after seeing this line. I'm guessing he thought it was too long and left for basketball practice. WELL A LONG LINE WON'T STOP ME! So I lined up with $10. 2 tickets. One for me and on for Cap. One long line won't stop me from asking Cap out to the dance!

Cap: Aqua? Ya there?😰

I sighed and fell face first into my bed. I am NEVER lining up such a long line EVER again. I waited about 2 hours for the tickets, which meant I skipped my last two classes before school ended. When it was finally my turn, they only had one ticket left. I guess one is still something... But that just ruined my chances with inviting him. Maybe they'll be selling more tickets tomorrow... Who knows...

Aqua: Ya I'm here... Sup😛

Cap: Are you alright? You missed the last two classes and you NEVER miss classes! Are you sick? Are you feeling alright?

Aqua: I'm fine. Just tired. I've been waiting in that line FOREVER...😞

Cap: You actually WAITED in that line?!?!

Aqua: Yup. They ran outta tickets after I got mines... I only got one... What about you?

Cap: Oh, I got them from Gemini. She bought 1 for me. I hafta go now! Cya at the dance tomorrow! Bai!

I stared at the last text in horror. Torn. Gemini again. Killing my dreams. I don't think I have a chance with Capricorn. I still have the unsent text. I love you. Maybe I should just delete it. Maybe I should just give up and accept he's just a friend.
I hugged my pillow tightly as I stared at the ceiling. Well, this sucks.

I woke up like any normal day. Except grumpier and tired. I smashed my alarm clock and broke it in half. I walked to school with Cap and I didn't bother caring for my hair. I didn't even care if today was the dance. Whatever.

I walked into the dance with jeans and a T-shirt while others were wearing dresses and formal wear. I sat on the bench and cried. While I was crying my eyes out, I over heard Cap and Gemini's conversation.

"What do you mean your breaking up with me?! I thought you said you loved me!" Capricorn's angry voice echoed through the dance room.

"Ya, I did love you. I just found someone else that I love MORE." Gemini yelled back.

Capricorn glared at her, "I was being nice to you! You said you were heartbroken and needed someone to love! I was HELPING you!"

"Well, I found someone BETTER to love! Goodbye Cappy! See ya some other day!" And with that, Gemini walked off with her new boyfriend. Aries I think?

Capricorn stood in the middle of the dance room, mortified by what happened. He turned around and walked over to my bench and sat down, not noticing I was here.

"She said she loved me. She said she needed a person to love. She wanted my help to fix her broken heart. Was that all lies?" Capricorn muttered to himself. He finally looked up and saw me. "Hey Aqua. I really do suck huh?"

I smiled at him, "No way! You rock! Your like the funniest, nicest, caring, fun person I know! You always look out for me! And care for everyone! You make everyone laugh around you!"

Capricorn laughed at me. He reached inside his pocket and got out his phone. He opened it and showed it to me.

Unsent Message to Aqua: I love you💝

I laughed and took out my phone.

Unsent Message to Cap: I love you❣

Capricorn looked at me and laughed some more. He stood up and kneeled before me.

"Care to dance?"

How come all my stories are like dances, school and texting. I'm sorry, I just have no idea what real life relationships are like and I watch too much anime. Sheeeeeshhhh I'm only an innocent little girl *NOT!*😜
