So book 2 is up now, it has at least one chapter so far. In book 2 some big things are changing. I'm getting rid of the planet characters. I don't need them and it's just too many characters. Instead I'll be replacing their roles with some of the other Big Dipper members. Phecada won't be the only one in the spotlight. I don't actually think anyone even liked the planets or got attached. If you did for some reason get attached... Oh whale. I think that's the biggest change of the series other than slight personality differences or just random forgotten plot points that I never cared about since I went into this without any plan. I do have a plan for book 2 so don't worry :). Peace out readers and maybe I'll see you join me in book 2.

Q: wait so... What?

A: Okay so yeah I rushed the ending a l o t. Basically the students are going home because not only did the first year building get completely obliterated but parts of the school got completely destroyed too. Mr.Universe is not good at explaining things and neither is Mr.Riclon so I'll do a better job I hope. The school was attacked by an evil force called "Anti-Matter" which has been attacking the surrounding area for quite a while now but the basic grey monsters that some of the signs saw dont have much sentience and only exist to destroy. The Zodiacs tool shelter in the Zodiac room which is protected by many many things. Eventually they're let out and Leo saw Phecada and went to join his girlfriend to check up on her. Soon the Zodiacs end up at the dorm building all together and as they try to go in it starts to implode destroying it. The thing that started it is a new mysterious master mind behind the Anti-Matter group and is the thing that said "Ew" when looking at the Zodiacs. His power left a void in where he stood. Cancers power cancelled it out and her power is light so if she has an opposite power to him I'm pretty sure y'all can guess what his power is(it's darkness). The signs are then sent home very quickly after. I'll answer any other questions about the plot in the comments since there's a lot of plot holes. Oh yeah the Big Dipper group is doing okay.

Q: When will they beat Phecada?

A: Violence is not the answer and the more docile signs and Dipper gang won't let that happen! Yeesh y'all are so aggressive sometimes.

Q: What is your personal favorite chapter of book 1?

A: I hate all of them. Jk. A few that stick out are the Halloween festival and the Christmas festival. They were both fun to write and added just a little bit to the plot which I like.

Q: What inspired you to write this series?

A: I liek de zodiac and I can wite. Actually I saw another book just called Zodiac Highschool or something around those lines with a premise s u p e r similar to mine but I never actually read the whole thing so I have no idea how that book turned out and I can't find it. So in short terms I saw a good idea copy pasted and made it look different in my own style because I was really into all things zodiac.

Q: Do I have any advice for new writers?

A: Are you sure you want my advice I took three years to write this- But I'll try to give some advice. Firstly, just w r i t e. Don't stop to go back and edit you'll never finish then. Also something I've learned now is to actually write out your big plot points from beginning to end somewhere literally anywhere just get it down and thought out. Also stop stressing if it's good or not. It will never be good if you try to make it perfect first try. Just write 4head.

Q: Are you gonna make a second book?

A: Yes! Hopefully it won't take three years to finish it and it should be it up as of publishing this(as of writing this I literally only have a cover made).

Q: How I decided to use Big Dipper

A: This wasn't an actual question but I wanna tell this story. Basically in seventh grade my science teacher said that if we could name all of the stars in the Big Dipper constellation we'd get extra credit on a quiz. So I memorized them and then we never even took that quiz. But hey, I used my knowledge for a zodiac book so I guess it worked out.

Q: What was your thought process when giving the Zodiacs powers?

A: As I said up above I saw a similar concept in a different book(which I still haven't found) and so I decided to put my own twist on it giving my Zodiacs different powers and different rules for their powers.

Q: Do you think Leo will snap at his girlfriend who's name I do not care for if her being too mean to his friends goes too far?

A: Only time shall tell my friend.

Q: Do you plan to redeem the leader of the big Dipper gang?

A: Redeeming her has been my plan from the start but it's gonna be a very slow redemption that won't just happen in a a few chapters.

Q: Do you plan to have another moment where the signs are like, "Dang we care about Leo"?

A: Absolutely, deep down we all know everyone loves are lion friend, even the dark and moody Scorpio.

Q: Is Cancer having the exact opposite power of the black Hole guy important to the plot.

A: Being completely honest here, maybe. Opposite powers are kinda wack as of right now. So far it's kinda like one power is an off switch for the other like Aries fire and Pisces controlling water are technically opposites. That's the best explanation I can give as of now.

Q: Did you feel a sense of accomplishment when you finished the book?

A: Honey I still have to go back and edit major details in and out so it is still technically not complete just yet. It did feel nice to get it "done" though since it's like I can move on now.

Aries- Probably didn't read the book but if they did they read it at lighting fast speeds and moved on very quickly.

Taurus- Read it and enjoyed most of it, tbh Tauruans have prolly left the most nice comments.

Gemini- Did not read the book and if they I don't know about it.

Cancer- Read the book and were very vocal about their opinions on things.

Leo- Stopped reading after the mistreatment of Leo started. I'm sorry Leo's I still love you.

Virgo- Tired of stereotypes prolly but got through it anyways.

Libra- Did not comment basically anything but did leave some snippets. Kinda like Gemini tbh

Scorpio- Read the beginning and complained about being a guy and left or read until they got mad then left or just really enjoyed it. Idk man Scorpios scare me ngl.

Sagittarius- Read the book and were quite happy about most things, prolly some of the funniest comments were left by Sagittarians.

Capricorn- Prolly left like, one comment maybe.

Aquarius- Very happy to read a book written by a fellow Aquarius and enjoyed most things and were very nice like Taurus.

Pisces- Read the book and left a few regular comments. Mostly replied to others tbh.
