Zodiac High's best baseball player, Virgo. Charming and all about brains since he is the top student of the school. If anyone caught his eye, you were the luckiest person in the world.

Too Virgo though, he wanted a girl who was head-strong and had a courageous mouth on her. That was the girl of his dreams, second to being the best baseball player of the world.

You see, Taurus was only helping the baseball team for community service hours. Pain in the butt, but now that butt had to get to working for college.

She sighed and picked up the gear the team has left behind. "Why can't guys pick up after themselves? Oh, right, in sports it doesn't matter where you have your crap laying around."

Virgo came outside to pick up his gear when he noticed a girl picking up the team’s gear. At first, he was confused, but remembered the coach talking about a girl cleaning up after them.

"Excuse me," Virgo came up towards Taurus. "Can you hand me a baseball bat?"

"Why don't you get it yourself?" Her attitude clearly states she wasn't in the best mood.

Virgo didn't need his brain to tell him this, "Sorry I'll get it myself."

Taurus beat him to the bat as she grabbed one and threw it towards him. "Sorry about my mood. I'm just irritated about the mess I have to clean up."

"Wait, this is a mess? I thought every baseball team threw all their stuff into a pile."

"Those are the sucky teams who nobody picks."

Virgo clicked his tongue teasingly. "I like your attitude. What's your name?"

Taurus gave him a small smile. "Taurus. And you're Virgo."

At the mention of his name he flashed her a pretty boy smile. Pure white teeth and charming the ladies. "Ooo... so I'm somewhat famous around the school, now am I?"

"Just for baseball. Your grades in school, not much since everyone says the only reason your still on the team is because the team needs you."

Virgo was starting to take a liking to her attitude. No other girl was a smart pants like her, which made her a better catch.

"Well," Virgo began, "It's true I don't have all the greatest grades in the school since I started baseball. But, I don't think it's hard for a charming man like me to ask you out on a date?"

It was silent until Taurus giggled lightly. "Date you? Seriously?"

The way she giggled made Virgo blush. Had he said something wrong? Was there lettuce in his teeth?

"Y-Yeah I'm serious about this..."

Taurus continued to smile at him, but she grabbed a piece of paper from her pocket. "Do you have a pen? I want your phone number."

Virgo's hopes cane through. "Wait, you'll go out on a date with me?"

"Only of you can raise your grades up in time before the end of the school year. I'm picky about my men, and I like them smart."

Virgo laughed while fishing a pen out of his bag. "You got a deal." He looked and handed her his own. "Because you don't seem like dull company."

After that, the school's two greatest sweethearts were Taurus and Virgo. The sporty and the nerdy together in an old photo.
