Jungkook's eyes widened and his breathing went erratic as soon as he felt Taehyung's soft lips on top of him. 

The Alpha inside him was howling in happiness as the other had responded positively to his mark but the human Jungkook was too confused.

Everything was jumbled up and Jungkook felt like he was standing on a chilly street, his surroundings covered in so much fog that he couldn't make out where he was going. 

 But even when he couldn't see his path, Taehyung's lips seemed to magically guide their way through the foggy street and into the exit where only butterflies and rainbows awaited him. 

And so Jungkook closed his eyes and let his instincts take control and kissed the older back passionately loving how their lips fit perfectly against each other, tasting each other and kissing heavily until they had to part because of their raging lungs. 

As soon as they parted, Jungkook's eyes fell on a panting Taehyung who was looking so gorgeous with the dusty pink cheeks and swollen red lips, the after kiss glow suited him so perfectly that all Jungkook wanted to do was kiss the older until the animal inside him was satiated. 

Before the younger could look away, his eyes locked with Taehyung's red crystal eyes showing an uncanny gesture of possessiveness in them. 

Jungkook raised his eyebrows confusedly when Taehyung marched towards him with an angry look. 

"Are you ok-" Before he could complete Taehyung grabbed his collar harshly pulling the younger against him harshly, darkness filling his red eyes 

"You are fucking mine. Only mine!" Taehyung growled, his deep voice sending shudders through Jungkook who had never seen his best friend act like this

The younger was rendered speechless as he stared back into Taehyung's eyes which seemed to be overtaken completely by his wolf, there was no view of the human Tae in them.

And before he could say another word Jungkook saw Taehyung's hold on his collar falter and the older fall limp into his arms, his body burning. 

Jungkook gasped and picked up the older, trying to wake him up but no matter what he did nothing made the older come back to consciousness. 

The strong heat that was coming from Taehyung's body only scared him even more. 

And without further ado Jungkook ran towards the infirmary only to be met by a shook looking Rose who watched Taehyung with open mouth.

"Is he in love with this place or what, he keeps coming back here." Rose tried to joke but her mouth immediately clamped shut when she saw the scary look that Jungkook send her. 

"TREAT HIM!!! MAKE HIM WAKE UP!!!!" Jungkook yelled panicking when he saw how Taehyung's skin started emitting more stringer heat than before 

"Please stay calm and let me do my job Alpha Jeon." Rose said calmly and continued doing her inspection on Taehyung's body, her mind filling up with different possibilities for this to happen while all the time Jungkook stayed silent and moved around Taehyung looking like a cute lost puppy. 

Suddenly Rose gasped when she felt how the heat was increasing and she saw Taehyung's veins getting darker, going from their normal blueish green to a dark black colour. 

Her eyes widened when she realised what was the cause of this. 

She turned around and faced a worried looking Jungkook 

"What's wrong? He will get better right?" Jungkook asks desperately and Rose looked down bowing 

"Please fetch the head Alpha Min right now before things get worse" After saying these words she went back to taking medicines and injecting them into Taehyung's skin leaving Jungkook restless and running at an incredible speed towards Yoongi's room in the school, hoping that the older would be there. 

The moon goddess seemed to have listened to his prayers as he found Yoongi and Jimin playfully bickering at each other as he entered the room making the couple snap their heads in his direction. 

"Is everything okay Jungkook?" Yoongi asked frowning when he saw the panting state of the younger

"T-Taehyung, H-He needs y-you!" Jungkook sputtered out, making both Yoongi and Jimin rush towards him without another thought

"Where?" Yoongi asks urgently and Jungkook guided the two towards the infirmary where Rose has removed Taehyung's shirt and was applying some kind of a green paste all over his body. 

"Rosie what happened to tae?" Jimin asks looking like he might break down any second seeing the condition of his brother. 

"What happened Rose?" Yoongi asks sternly only to see Rose shed some tears 

"Head Alpha I know what I am going to say might be a shock to you but please listen to me." Rose said softly and Yoongi nodded, mentally preparing his mind for every damn possibility even if his heart was shaking with fear

"Taehyung-sshi here has been injected with wolfsbane and the poison is spreading through his body at an uncontrollable rate. I am sorry but there is nothing we can do except make his ending moments filled with relief" 

A loud silence spread through the entire room as Jungkook felt his heart beat slow down with each passing second.

And through out the silence, all Jungkook could hear was his wolf roaring in pain as he lost his sanity and his hands found their way around Rose's neck, slamming her to the wall as the desire to choke her useless existence to death, filled inside him.
