He looked at her departure helplessly. His heart just want to pull her closer to him and never let her go. Om the other side his mind was saying to distance himself from her. He was in a dilemma,a very big one.

Sitting on the chair he placed his hand on his temple. He took a glass of water but didn't gulp it down. He was lost in his thoughts, anger was pouring in his eyes.
He tightened his grip on the glass and it broke and his hand started bleeding. He didn't cared about it. He was angry with himself for hurting her this much.

He still remember his father used to say a line to him whenever he made a mistake.

'Subha ka bhula agar sham ko ghar laut aaye toh usse bhula nhi kehte'

He still remember how he always get all his answers from his baba. But now He was not here with him, no one was here to told him what to do next. He was feeling suffocated with all this.

His father alway told him in past that, 'if anything is going wrong then it's our duty to make it right. If anything is imposible then it's an opportunity for us to make it possible. If anyone is in pain or in a problem then it's our responsibility to make them feel protected and safe.

Blood was dripping in the floor from his hand. He was looking through the window with a blank expression. His heart was wrenching by her words, that's why everyone say that 'truth is always bitter'.

"I failed as a human", he sighed.

Sometimes we're right in our places but actually we're wrong. He was helpless, he was tied with a invisible rope, a kind of pain which is imposible to describe in words.

******

Standing near the garden she was rethinking her words. She ain't wrong this time but she also had made a mistake. She was feeling guilty for saying him those word.

She close her eyes cluthing her dupatta tightly. His hurted expressions are reflecting infront of her eyes.

"No matter who the person is and what he had done to me i'm no one to tell him all the things", she uttered.

This is the issue of pure hearts. Even if people go wrong, they still care about them. She was feeling guilty for spilling truths, for hurting him by saying the truth.

She started taking her steps towards their room. Still her mind was struggling to find her path. As she reached their room door, she looked at him, She was facing his back. Her eyes stucked on the floor, a red liquid was dripping from his hand. He noticed the broken glass on the floor. A fear engulfed in her heart.

"Murtasim", she gasped.

She ran towards him. Her heart was thudding in her chest. Eyes are filling with tears, She Looked at his face. She cupped his face in her palms.

"Murtasim ye...yeh kya kiya?", she cried Looking at his hand .

His eyes meets with her. He noticed her teary eyes. He looked at his hand.

"Woh kuch bhi nhi hua, galti se chot lag gayi bas", He exclaimed.

"Main tumhein bewakoof nazar aa rahi hun. Kitna khoon beh raha hai Dikh nhi raha tumhein", she said. Tears are streaming from her eyes like she too can feel the pain. He was looking at her thoughtfully.

"Bakhtu bhai aap please Doctor ko bulaiye", she said loudly.

He was still sitting in the chair while looking at her silently. She held his hand carefully and pulled him towards the couch.

"Baitho yahan chup chap", she said making him sit on the couch. She reached the drawer near dressing table and took out the First aid kit.

She sat beside him on the couch and started cleaning his wound with Antiseptic Spray.

"Ouch.... Dard ho raha hai yaar", he winched in pain.

"Aur bhi hoga, main ko bol kar aur 10-12 glass mangwati hun, todo baith kar", she said angrily.

He didn't said anything just looked at her with wonder in his eyes.

"Ek aur baat apna gussa gym mein utaro jaa kar ghar ke furniture aur glasses mat todo", she said while cleaning his wound gently.

After a while doctor came and gave him medicines and an injection. When doctor leaves he thanked her.

"Thank you"

"Main kisi ka ehsaan nhi rakhti. Tumne kal meri jaan bachayi thi isi liye maine bas thodi si madad kar di", she replied.

'usse lagta hai maine uspe ehsaan kiya hai uski jaan bacha kar', he thought. He felt bad by hearing this but didn't said anything because he knows that She's hurted more than him.

"Phir bhi Thank you", he said genuenly.

"Thanks to you too for teaching me a good lesson", she stated.

Her words are working like a sharp knife in his heart. He gave a forced smile somehow.

"I'm sorry meerab", he apologised to her. She looked at him like maybe she was scrutinizing something.

"For what? Mujhe beech rastey par chhorne ke liye? Yaa phir mujhe bura feel karwane ke liye?", she said in a cracking voice.

There was a pin drop silence for some minutes. He didn't get any word to say. He was speechless with her questions. Bit it's sounds like a blame not a question. It was his mistake which had ruined their lives.

"Listen to me please ", he exclaimed looking at her. Holding her hand into his he placed his injured hand on the top. It's difficult to grab her hand with injured hand.

She pulled her hand from his grip causing him to feel a pain.

"Ahhww", he winched in pain.

"So...sorry", she said holding his injured hand on hers." Bohot zor se lagi kya?"

"Yeh dard tumhare dard ke aage kuch nhi hai".

He took a breath and uttered her name softly making an eye contact with her.

"Meerab"

Her heart skipped a beat. She looked down slowly. His throat went dry. He tried his best to say something, his lips parted and closed at the very moment.

"I j..just wanna tell you that", he gulped down and continued," That, you matter to me. You're not burden on me believe me.
You owned a special place in my heart and you know that. I'm ashamed of myself  for putting your life into danger , Maaf kar do please".

His eyes are sparkling, no he ain't telling lies to her. His eyes are the proof of his words. She shut her eyes trying to figure out what to do next.

"It...its not easy to believe you or trust you. Tumhara bharosa nhi hai kab tum wapas badal jao. You're saying all the things because you're feeling guilty", she said somehow not Looking at him.

"I'm...", he uttered but she stopped him.

"Kuch dino baad wapas tum badal jaoge toh kya fayeda maafi mang kar koi jhutha dilasa dene ka", she gave a painful smile getting up to leave from there but he held her arm with his left hand.

As he give a pull she fell on his lap. Snaking his arm around her waist He holds her tight so she can't go away from him.

"Please meri baat suno yaar"

"Chhoro mujhe Murtasim", she said trying her best to freed herself from him but he's stronger.

"Kabhi nhi", his voice was firm yet soft.

She was feeling protected in his embrace. He was holding her like she's  a precious gift of his.

"I've too much anger issues I know aur sayad isi wajah se sab kuch barbad ho jata hai. Kal bhi wahi hua, i've no control in my anger. And probably you're right i've bipolar disorder", he chuckled at the last sentence.

She looked at him with wonder and confusion. He continued," jin halaton mein hum dono ki shaadi hui hum dono hi yeh nhi chahte the. We both were disappointed with this announcement but kuch nhi kar paye. Aab waqt ke sath samajh aa raha hai ke yeh decision galat nhi tha".

"Kyun? Kyun galat nhi tha?", she asked.

"Kal iss baat ka ehsaas hua mujhe, jab tum mujhe itna dhundhne ke baad bhi nhi mili na, tab ehsaas hua mujhe ke main tumhare bina nhi reh sakta. Our arguments are important for me", he said Looking straight in her eyes.

His face was looking blurry in her view.

"You held a huge part in my life meerab. I don't know why but it's difficult for me to imagine my life without you",he said.

He hugged her tightly breathing in her scent. "Hum shuru se shuruat nhi kar sakte kya? Dost nhi ban sakte pehle ki tarah?"

As he hugged her, she felt something really strange. Their proximity was affecting her so much. Breaking the hug she looked at him, she was still in his lap.

"Ek bar mein kuch sahi yaa galat nhi hota. Waqt ke sath bigada tha toh aab waqt ke sath hi wapas sahi ho jayega", she replied. Pulling herself away from him she walked away from there.
