The mom had a Husband, She made love to him and got pregnant. He had an affair, Getting caught. She divorced him.. Getting a New husband and giving birth. One reminding her of herself, And the other reminding her of the Ex-Husband.

THEN IT WOULD ALL MAKE SENSE OTHER THAN THE PARENTS IMMEDIATELY! Because the wife hates seeing her Ex-Husbands face. And the Hated child looks TOO much like the Ex.
