Hey everyone! I try to save as much money as possible. One way I do that is I go thrifting for clothes a lot. You can find cute clothes at a cheap price and you don't have to spend crazy amounts of money on clothes.

However, thrifting can get frustrating and feel really long. Sometimes you don't find what you want, and you usually have to spend a while finding pieces that you like. So, here are some tips that can help!

On YouTube, a girl named Ashley runs a fashion channel called bestdressed. She is basically an expert on thrifting and modifying thrift clothes to be more "in style." I suggest checking her channel out!

I also shop at an online thrift shop called thredUp. It's pretty cool. They have a lot of cute items and you get some good deals! However, keep in mind that you have to pay for shipping. That part is annoying.

Discount codes for thredUp (I will be adding more when I find some):

- welcome20 (20% off your first order)
- BESTDRESSED (30% off your order)

- look in the men's section. I can not tell you the amount of times I have found cute oversized sweaters in the men's section! I find the men's section has better and more comfortable clothing honestly.

- bring hand sanitizer. Thrift stores have a lot of germs

- try to go through as many things as you can. This way, you won't miss out on any pieces you may love.

- listen to music. It'll help you stay motivated and calm

- wear loose clothing. It'll be easier to change in and out of when you're in the changing room

- STAY PATIENT! It's okay if you won't find anything the second you get there.

Thrift Stores I recommend:

- Goodwill
- American Cancer Society store (I found some pieces that I love here for a good price and all proceeds go to the American Cancer Society)
- Savers (my friend found some good sweaters here)

If you have any more recommendations, comment them! I would love to here them and check out the stores sometime.
