Hey there eggyeuls ! This is my entry for your contest! We were asked to make a cd cover for a song/album based on anything related to love.

I chose Zayn as my faceclaim and renamed him Zavier. I drew fake tears on him (thanks to naoella_ I'm officially addicted to doodling now LMAO). The mockups almost cost me my life jksjsk- I never thought they would be so hard to make since mockups are really popular you see. This isn't my best but I really enjoyed making it so yeah :)

• Interpretation:
This is about a toxic relationship. His 'lover' is someone who tries to control his life and thoughts in such a way that it's suffocating Zavier. He cannot Breathe. He's choking on his own sobs. I drew fake (bloody) tears to depict that. It's a song asking us to be strong even at our lowest.

The color scheme is a dirty yellow (faint hope/fake happiness) and black (sorrow/despair/depression) with blots of red (torture/harrasment) here and there. The title and singer name has been merged together to give the effect of someone asking him to take a breath aka stay strong.
